Hey Rebecca, thanks for your engagement and for sharing this detailed suggestion about user permissions in Xero Projects.
We've reviewed your idea to allow users to view project profitability without needing the full admin user role, and it can now gain support from other community members. We understand the need for team members to keep track of a project's performance, and why granting full admin access isn't always suitable.

Hi Joanne, thanks so much for all your feedback and comments on this idea. We totally get how handy it’d be to have a report in Xero UK Payroll that includes employee bank details.
Not having something like this can definitely add extra work and hassle—especially when you need to send bank info to a third party or double-check payments.
Right now, the idea’s in the ‘Gaining support’ stage, which means we’re keeping a close eye on how many people are voting and sharing their thoughts. The more input we get, the easier it is for us to understand how important this is and where it might sit in our list of priorities.

For anyone looking to achieve this now, you can view transactions across all time by selecting a custom date range in your reports. By setting the start date to your organisation's first transaction date and the end date to today, you can get a full historical view of your data.
We see the value in your suggestion to add a preset 'All Time' or 'All Dates' option, which would make this process a faster, one-click action.

Hi Sophie ✨, thanks for your feedback on this idea. We're well aware how the generic descriptions in pay run journals can be confusing when they don't align with your specific payroll settings. We understand that you've been using workarounds like exporting reports to Excel and manually editing them to get the detail you need. While this can help in the short term, we recognize it is a time-consuming process that shouldn't be necessary.We've shared your valuable feedback with our product team. As with all new features, we have to balance this against other development priorities. We can't promise a specific timeline, but the more support an idea gets, the higher it climbs on our list. Hi Sherri, thanks for your feedback. I know you started your idea in the Navigation and Homepage forum however this appears to relate to the Contacts page where you attach files to a contacts record.
