  1. Add CIS Deduction value to the Aged Receivables and Aged Payables reports. In the same way Outstanding VAT value is an option to include in the reports, also include CIS Deduction.

  3. Ease of entering - ability to tab into 'Description' field when in 'Amounts are' field.

  4. Ability : To have a function within contact to block raising purchase orders to an individual supplier.

    Purpose: To ensure no future orders are placed with suppliers, who we may have had issues with previously. Easier to have a function that would automatically flag this, as opposed to placing note within contact and relying on all to find this information.

  5. Ability to update and amend or assist as a user the cash flow prediction analytics function. Currently the cashflow analysis prediction function doesn't pick up a number of our regularly occurring expense invoices and sales invoices (also sometimes it has them coded as monthly rather than fortnightly etc). Result is that for us the cashflow analytics is very inaccurate and then not usable and as user we are unable to amend or update. But think it could be a good tool if we could work with it somehow to update the AI and predictions

    Heya team, with some of the exploration our team were doing we shifted this idea to Under review a few months ago. However, reassessing current priorities as many here may also be interested in our team are currently in the depths of work for enabling the ability to view more statement lines and providing search on the Reconcile screen

    While this may be something we consider developing for later down the line, it's not something we have plans for atm and we'll shift back to Submitted to continue monitoring the interest here. Thanks

  8. Hi, I will be looking after the credit control activity of the organisation I recently joined. After looking at the portal, I think it would be useful to be able to create alerts for specific schools, for specific dates, reminding me I need to contact them on those days and be able to switch reminders, on or off, with the opportunity to select the dates (ex if invoice not paid by ... the reminders will switch back on automatically on on the date I set up). Do you think this functions can be implemented presuming it would be useful to…

    Thanks for the suggestion, Samantha. There are a lot of different types of alerts and notifications that our customers would like to see Xero develop. 

    When you mention credit control I wanted to highlight Credit limits that can be set for a contact and may be of some use to you here. 

    There is also the ability to set Invoice Reminders for when invoices are overdue and you may want to set up for contacts. 

    We don't have other alerts or warnings planned at this stage but will begin to get a sense of the interest for your idea here. 

  9. Track late claims on VAT returns submitted in Xero but not filed direct to HMRC through MTD.

    This is needed in order for VAT groups to be able to prepare returns in non-submitting companies which can then be consolidated.

    The only alternative if the VAT group stays on Xero is to run journal reports and manually find late claims, in all non-submitting entities in a VAT group, which is a very manual process.

  10. Could you please implement a warning sign when closing a report in draft especially if changes have been made anywhere in the report or within the layout (example: Do you wish to save draft").

    Reason: I often forget to click on 'save draft' or accidentally navigate away and end up losing all changes.

    Appreciate your feedback around how more visuals in reporting would aid when presenting business information to stakeholders.

    Though not direct within the Management report - Xero Analytics provides visual tools to assess and get insight into your business with Short term cash flows and Business Snapshot.

    Alongside this, our reporting team have also started release of a graph in the 'Expenses by Contact report' - It's available if you're running a US organisation atm, and will be with other regions soon 

  14. When raising a sales invoice for the part exchange of a vehicle there should be a feature to record the entire sale and then debit the A/r account for the amount of cash payment owed and them debit the remaining balance to a tracked inventory account.

    EG.

    CR Sales 8,500

    DR A/R 3,500

    DR Tracked inventory 5,000

  15. Currently in Payroll History you can filter activity by Type and select 'Employees'.

    This is too broad to be able to easily pick up bank account changes. eg for 1 month there are 959 entries over 4 pages (which need to be manually clicked to load).

    The entries have the type of 'Employee: Bank Accounts'

    Features requested ;
    1) Add a 'Subtype' filter for Employee events; of which 'Bank Accounts' should be an option.
    2) Add ability to Export the report to PDF from initial screen without having to load all the other items.

  16. The Australian version of Xero offers a timesheet summary report. Can we have this in the UK? I need to send a manager details of his employees uploaded timesheet data and there is no report.

  17. Project Summary Report always had actual hours and estimated hours on and since it has been updated this option is no longer available and that is 2 of the most important columns for us. Also the wording of the headings have changed and no longer match the Project Details report which is ridiculous. This report needs to be converted back to how they used to be.

  18. Xero has some feeds for First Citizens but apparently not for FCB Commercial Advantage customers. It's worth noting that Commercial Advantage is for FCB's bigger customers albeit We're a $5MM revenue entity so we're not really that big. And Commercial Advantage is accessible nationwide (USA). Furthermore, FCB is not a regional bank anymore. I mean, they bought Silicon Valley Bank after the collapse so I think it's safe to say they've got some size to them. And the real kicker is that I currently download our statements in a Quicken format from FCB so they obviously could set up a…

  19. Projects Management - There are instances when a bill line item needs to be apportioned/allocated to two or more projects. At the moment the only way to do this is by splitting this line item across several bill lines (as many as projects to allocate to) and then do the allocation. The idea would be to add a "Split" button to the project allocation form, say next to current search field in the form ( not the search at the top but the one next to each billed item), so that current functionally remains i.e. type project in search box…

  20. New Invoices - Option to Reflect All Open Invoice Totals in "Total Amount Due"

    It would be helpful to have the total amount due reflected in the total amount due for new invoices.
    I already send customers reminders, account statements, etc. Perhaps some customers do not read what I'm sending to them. If the total amount due was on the invoice, it would be very clear as to the total amount owed.
