  1. Batch change exchange rate
    Currently, once a receipt has been entered the only way to change the exchange rate is to go into each individual transaction and edit transaction->change the exchange rate. I have a situation where i have hundreds of transactions that have been allocated the XE.com rate, but i would like those transaction to have the user defined rate. Also in receipts entered using the iOS app will use the XE.com rate even if there is a user defined rate set in settings.

  2. When purchasing a subscription, there should be a 24 hour cancellation period. On many occasions I have purchased subscriptions that were not correct or not necessary. I upgraded a few of my clients to the Early Plan from the Partner Plan as we needed Hubdoc. Then we found out that Cash Coding was not included and was not stated in the plan description. At that point, I was stuck waiting for 30 days before I could correct it.

  4. It would be helpful to have a "Skip" timesheet option for part-time staff to indicate that it's a non-work day (rather than assuming they've just forgotten to complete their timesheet). E.g. a checkbox above each day on the weekly timesheet that if checked would grey-out the relevant day. Rough example attached.

  5. A drop-down list when adding a Task under a project for an Estimated expense or an Expense. We only see a list when we type something. What if we want to see the items in alphabettical order starting with the 1st item?

  6. My client uses personal funds for large part of expenses. I have to enter them manually (using Spend Money) and after each entry the screen defaults back to today's date.
    Would be useful if Xero defaults to the last entered transaction date, when using Spend Money, instead to today's date.

  7. When allocating a credit note to a customer invoice we need to be able to report on this event and no date is stored at the point of allocation.

    In the current system you can see credit notes allocated against invoices only when in the documents as a credit note displays similarly to a bank payment. You can to an extent identify credit notes allocated against invoices by running reports against the Accounts Receivable ledger, filtered by source 'credit note allocation' but you cannot filter this in any way to see recent events.   11. New quote screen has created a lot of extra steps in creating quotes
    i.e.
    - moved buttons out of intuitive workflow space
    - save button now hidden at top right instead of at bottom of quote
    - quote numbers less visible once saved
    - sending a saved quote takes a lot more steps

    Understand the need for new framework but the workflow changes have made creating quotes longer and more complicated. Thanks.

  12. I have a number of Telstra accounts that all come due within a day of each other. Xero can't tell the difference between the rules. I was thinking that when doing reconciliations, where it has the drop down tab "Options" if you could add "Choose a Bank Rule" it would save me having to ignore the wrong rule chosen by Xero and and manually have to fill in the data for the relevant Telstra Account when it comes in.

  15. Automatically accrue RDO hours after a certain amount of hours logged.

    Job management systems push 80 hours over as a timesheet in Xero.

    We would like the total combined hours logged (ordinary hours, annual leave, RDOs, personal leave and public holidays) in excess of 76 hours to automatically be converted to RDO hours.

    E.g: If I log 80 hours ordinary time, I accrue 4 hours RDO.
    E.g: If I log 78 hours ordinary time, I accrue 2 hours RDO.
    E.g: If I log 80 hours annual leave, I accrue 4 hours RDO.
    E.g: If I log 72 hours ordinary time…

  16. "Purchase order PDFs only include information that's relevant to your supplier. Fields such as the account code or tracking aren’t included on the PDF. "

    It may not be relevant to the supplier but it's critical for the Accounts Payable person to match and code to the relevant account. We track POs based on Property category and also if they are extras to the contract.. A printed PO is attached to the Vendor bill but we have to go back to the PO in the system to see the expense code and if it's extra to a contract.

We would like to be able to hide certain bank accounts on the dashboard so our employees who reconcile our bank accounts don't also see our payroll bank account (same with loan accounts, savings accounts etc) where the wages get paid from. I.e. the ability to edit the dashboard and 'hide' a bank account for certain employees/ Xero users. Currently as I understand, editing the dashboard is unique to the logged in user.

    Hi Heiko, even if you were to hide the bank account from the dashboard, if the user has permissions that enable them to access bank accounts they would be able to view this information somewhere else. 

    It sounds like you'd be interested in the idea across here asking for the ability to restrict access to bank accounts. Would this be correct? 

    If so, I'll merge to keep this feedback altogether. 

  20. Cost analysis by group type, e.g. we have a group for DD suppliers. It would be useful to analyse how much we spend by group over a set period. We are looking at setting up other groups soon so this would be very helpful.
