AU Payroll - Show leave balance on payslip without accruals
Australian Payroll - sick leave on payslip - want to show balance without accrual in the payrun, and to be able to do this after employment has commenced. Currently this is only possible if you allocate the full balance to employee's at the start of the employment. Historically this has not been done and it needs to be changed to avoid staff confusion and having to reset the leave each payrun.

Item Summary report - Show/Group by the transaction sales/revenue account
Currently the Item Summary report when grouped by Sales Account, groups by the sales account listed on the individual inventory items. If like us, you sell inventory across different revenue accounts i.e. product lines, then it does become a bit frustrating not being able to group the sales of inventory based on the revenue account the transaction was recorded against.
The Inventory Item Details report does use the transaction account when grouping in contrast to the summary report which feels odd.

UK Payroll - Option to select/deselect 'Other Previous Earnings' feature on payslips
Remove the feature of 'Other Previous Earnings', or an option of allowing us to choose whether to have this feature. Grouping all previous pay items into 'Other Previous Earnings' in the same financial year is confusing and our employees won't understand what it is for. Please get rid of it!

Navigation - add Custom Reports to Accounting menu
I have lots of Custom Reports, more than can be made into Favourites. Can you please add Custom Reports to the Accounting menu to enable direct access to this report area? Thanks
1 voteWe're re-opening this idea. Although it's possible to favourite reports to add them to the Accounting menu, there is a limit to the number of reports that can be favourited. This idea is to have a separate item in the menu specifically for Custom reports - not something we have plans for at this stage but we'll gauge the interest from users of this here.

Reports | Favourites Section - Undo option
Hi! I like the option to 'bookmark' frequently used reports using the star icon. However, I often click on the star of a report in my Favourites section by mistake, which immediately removes it from that section. It would be great to have a 'undo' option pop up, so you don't have to manually search for the report and add it back in again.

Email templates - Remove the organisation name
As you’ve found, right now it’s not possible to only show the organisations logo or to remove the organisation name from the email. This would help in customizing what is shown to recipients/clients.
The best way to get your voice heard is by adding your thoughts to our Xero Product Ideas. Xero Product Ideas is a Xero website where our customers can share and support ideas for change.
I’ve included a link to the Xero Product Ideas page where you can view and support current ideas or create a new one to share your thoughts.

Project Estimated Expense - Add Gross Profit %
Project Estimated Expense - Gross Profit Calculation
Rather than work out the sale price based on a MU% (mark up), add or change this to a GP% (gross profit %). this would then align with the financial accounts / reports which run at the end of the month, quarterly and annual accounts.
Annual accounts don't report on mark-up%.but GP%
Accountant reviews and best business advisors all work on GP%1 vote -

Sales invoices - Ability to move fields of the invoice entry screen
We are a plant hire business and have recently started using Xero Projects to measure profitability by project/vehicle. We raise a significant number of sales invoices every day. This can only be done manually so as to match Purchase Order to Delivery Note and other relevant backing documentation.
The project allocation selection is the final entry item, which doesn't run with the order the backing information is reviewed. It would be a great timesaver if the input boxes on the sales invoice creation screen could be moved around.
The above update would enhance our efficiency.

AU Payroll - Option to set week ending date on Timesheet Detail report
The week ending period on the Timesheet Detail Report is Monday to Friday and cannot be adjusted.
Oaur pay week runs from Wednesday to Tuesday. We have to duplicate data on an Excel spreadsheet for reporting for management.
It would be very useful if the week ending period could be edited so we could use the reporting in Xero and save time processing payroll.

Tax filing report (Fiji)
We are required to enter invoice numbers and tax ID numbers of suppliers when loading taxes onto the local tax returns portal. Is there any specific report that allows to generate a report that shows, supplier tax ID, supplier invoice number, total invoice amount and total tax included, all together in a repor, so that our tax filing is hassle free.
1 voteThere's no report in Xero that'll currently give you all the details you've asked here, in one report, Avneet. To better understand what maybe needed to develop a report like this can you share which field within a contacts record are you currently using to enter the Tax ID #?
Being open we don't have plans for development of this right now, but it'll be good to get a better sense of interest for this from the community here.

AU Payroll - Option to filter payroll reports by payroll calendar
I'd like to be able to filter payroll-related reports (eg. Superannuation Accruals) by the pay calendar being used for the employee.
Several of my clients have a separate pay calendar for permanent employees and employees (and contractors) whose pay changes from payrun to payrun. This enables them to quickly do pays for permanent employees whose timesheets don't need to be checked and spend more time over those who do. It also enables late timesheets to be processed with less fuss as there's fewer employees to scroll through to add the ones whose timesheets you just received.

Bank Reconciliation - Recap transaction option prior to reconciling
Please add Recap Transaction found in MYOB.
The feature allows you to see which accounts will be affected (debited or credited) by a transaction you're about to enter. Seeing what effect a particular transaction will have on the accounts allows one to know the outcome of transactions with accuracy. This is a powerful feature that can prevent incorrect entry of all kinds of transactions. See attached screenshot from MYOB4 votesAppreciate not the exact feature you're looking for here and will be good to get a sense of the interest of this here. In the meantime, I wanted to make sure you can find this information once reconciled. Those with the Standard or Adviser roles can run the Journal report to view recent impacts to accounts and the user that made each change.
