  2. When reviewing the 'Account Transactions' report in Xero there is an ability to filter by 'Source' type. However, only the 'Select all' option includes Payroll Expense Journals.

    Considering I can filter around every other transaction type, I don't see why Payroll Expense Journals can't be added as a source option?

    I know exporting to Excel works as a workaround - but considering every other source type is available adding one more shouldn't be difficult?

    Hi team, appreciate recent feedback when we recently merged this idea to this one. Understand that there's a bit of a difference in what's being asked between the two ideas, and we've unmerged to continue to track these ideas separately. 

    Being open there are no current plans to add a filter for Payroll expense journal to Source, however we will continue to get a sense of the interest in this and let you know if any progress is made, here. 

  3. Many of my clients prefer a 37.5 hour work week (7.5 hours a day) to a 38 hour work week (7.6 hours a day).
    I am able to set the leave accruals to a 7.5 hour day but the standard work week in "'Assign default leave types" is always 38 hpw and I have to manually change it to 37.5 to match the leave accrual.

  5. As an employee, I receive an email every time a leave request was approved.
    My boss receives an email every time a leave request is submitted and every time a timesheet is submitted.
    It would be great to disable these email notifications

  6. The ability to bulk update staff charge out rates in Project Tasks. Running many projects and therefore many many in progress tasks. Needing to duplicate a task and create a new charge rate is both tedious and cumbersome. Unless you export to excel and manually change data, you are unable to get an accurate snap shot of the financial status of the project as charge out rates are outdated. Currently when exporting invoices, I am needing to individually update staff rates to reflect the current times.

    1. I need to be able to get a total on all the quantities on an invoice. If there are say 5 entries I would like to be able to get a total of all the quantities entered .
    2. One is able to move a line in an invoice from one place to another. But I would like to be able to move more than one entry around at once. So if I am able to select 2 or more entries and move them to another place in the invoice it would be great.

  8. Currently, I can export manual journals from a Xero organization for record saving. However, I cannot use the exported manual journals in Excel format to be imported to another organization directly. Because the exported manual journals show the GST amount in a separate line (GST account). Can you please add a new function to export manual journals for Xero importation? It means I can directly import the exported manual journals from one organization to another without editing.

Previously in the old format Aged Payable Summary and Detail reports you could run the report at the end of the month and change the Ageing by option to be by Due date and the report would then exclude any invoices with a due date later than the month end it was being run by. However when doing the same in the new format report this does not work and the Current column shows invoices for the month as being due even if they have a due date of later than the month end date being selected i.e. the report…

  10. Could we implement an option to pay an invoice via bank transfer when a customer clicks on the 'pay now' link on an invoice?

    At the moment, most of the connected services are done via card and may have fees included on top of what the customer already has to pay.

  11. I would like to be able to run a report that simply has overdue invoices, name, phone number, email. Ideally sorted by sales. Similar to the list I get when I am doing Statements but with a phone number in it.

  12. We deal with different people in purchasing, accounting, owners, etc for each account. Contact records are being treated as Account records. This makes it very difficult to keep track of all people we need to do business with within an account.

  13. I would like to see the limitation of receiving payment on 50 inovices be increased or removed completely. I Have a trucking company that issues hundreds of trip invoices to it's customers and the limit of receiving payment on 50 invoices at a time doesnt work for them.

  14. Change decimal places for hours to 4 decimal places instead of 2. When hours are imported from Tanda it shows errors, as Tanda exports to 4 decimal places for more accuracy

  15. Currently, you are able to pull the Contact Transactions Summary and ledger for only one contact at a time.

    If you can add the ability to pull more than one contact's transactions at a time, it would be great. It should work the same as "Account Transactions" where you choose the accounts you want to pull, just for Contacts.

    Hi Elizna, you can run the Receivable or Payable invoice detail reports for multiple contacts at a time. Is there something specific about the Contact Transactions Summary that's missing from these reports that you'd want included ? 

  16. Reports - would love to be able to run an account transactions report that is able to be grouped by bank account as well, so we can see how each bank transaction has been coded, GST status etc from each bank account

  17. I have multiple 2018 bills to pay generated from the US Xero Payroll feature that I can not delete nor apply credit memos to. Those were always "locked" bills. I've been trying to void or zero out these bills for years and apparently, there is no way to actually do this. I've spent hours with customer support to no avail. Please put something in place to allow users/me to accomplish this task. My AP bills are messy and my cash basis balance sheet is messy. Journal entries are not a solution as the bills will never go away using this…

  18. The date format for South Africa is incorrect. We use a day month year format, not the American month day year format. Surely Xero can change this so its adaptable for each country and preference? Its not asking a lot of work to have that additional option. But can cause a huge issue when its not what we work with.
