Quotes - Adjust format of item price
Absolutely hate the new quote layout and the way it adds zeroes to the item price. Would like to be able to use the old style and elect to use the new style

Invoice/Bill - Ability to automatically recognise user's division/branch when they enter bill or invoice
When a business has multiple branches or divisions, it would be great for the system to recognise who (from which division or branch) is entering the Bill or Invoice or Journal, and would automatically assign the correct cost centre to the transaction based on that (with the ability to override allowed or not in the user setup). It would also be good to be able to only allow reconciliation/viewing of that branch or division bank account instead of all bank accounts.

Profit and Loss - Adding % formatting by row
In Retail KPI's are important so on a month by month report we would include the
GP % on Liquor sales
GP% on Food Sales
Wage %
At present it comes out just as a number '61'

In the account transaction report I would like to use the source filter to pick up Payroll & Super transactions only, however there seems to be no option, it would be great if there was one

Bank rule - Transfer money and Bank fee as 2 lines
Almost all the payment providers are now settling the amounts with the fees deducted from the captured/sale amount. This needs to be reconciled as two lines 1) Transfer to cash control account and 2) Bank fees.
Currently there is no way to create a rule for this, hence it is a big overhead for the reconciliation, with almost a large chunk of card sale having to go through this process.Can the product team please take care of this on priority? thanks

Although not a direct solution right now, you may be aware that Stripe (one of our providers) has automated capability you can set up like you've described for automated matching.
Alternatively, if your payment provider takes a set % of the total sale then with a rule you could proportionally split a transaction.
You'll see this option at step 3. of creating a bank rule.

NZ Tax | Pop ups / reminders - Option to dismiss across all clients
Can you please make it possible for firms to be able to remove the pop up/reminders from our screen? We should be able to remove it once on our xero screen and then it doesnt appear for any other client. Or maybe after removing it three times then it goes away. I think its a bit strange you keep reminding accountants there is increase to the provisional tax threshold each time we open a clients GST return.

Organisation settings - Exported Accounting data to include contact name
Accounting > Advanced > Export Accounting Data > Xero General Ledger (.txt), to add the Contact name (customer/vendor/employee name) as a field. Currently, such information is not exported.

Invoices page, Please add a "Customer Dropdown Box" so we can just scroll and select a client from the list when looking for a clients older invoices.

Bills - Add overpayment/older bills tab
Under the Bills and Invoices sections, could separate categories be introduced for overpayments and older bills from prior quarters? This would help declutter the Awaiting Payment section, especially for businesses with long credit terms, where bills may remain unpaid for several months.

Bank Reconciliation - Sort statement lines by most recent date
I always want to reconcile my newest transactions first, as they are freshest in my head. It's actually become pretty maddening not having this feature.

New Invoicing - Improve History to show when emails are sent
Previously if you emailed an invoice or statemt to a client it showed up as such in History for that client. Recently this appears to have changed and all that shows in History is "Updated". Not very helpful as it is important to know when one last emailed an invoice or statement.
Please fix.

Billable Expenses - Tickbox to remove outstanding expense from multiple bills at a time
If an item has been billed manually or your stuck with some items in billable expenses you have to open every bill and remove the client from the items that are have not been billed.
Could you add a tick box selection in the Billable Expenses - Outstanding so that you can then select a remove billable expenses from multiple bills in one go.2 votes -
Batch Email
When creating invoices there should be a box that when ticked adds the invoice to an email cue. So that at the end of the day you can send the invoices you made and ticked that day to customers. It's really annoying having the invoices separated into several different sections and then having to go and select each individual customer to then send the emails to.

Is it possible to send sales invoices or statements to a customers mobile number as a text message instead of an email address. I feel sure that so many end up in junk boxes.

New Invoicing - Reset to Default Due Date option - take 2
Since comments are closed on the original thread I have created this one as there are still issues and questions. From the screenshot, it looks as though we will still need to navigate via a dropdown to choose the default in every invoice? If so, this is not what we asked for. In Classic, the default is picked up automatically. In New it seems that we still have many more clicks to achieve the same end result. I'm sorry but this is still not good enough to make new Invoicing useable.
2 votesHi Claire, if you have set up a default due date for the organisation(within Invoice Settings) or against individual contacts, these will be applied.
The one scenario defaults don't get applied is when copying an invoice to the same Contact.

Overpayments - Convert to Bill for refunding
If a client has overpaid an invoice, or paid an invoice that has been voided/credited, when Ihave reconciled the incoming payment as an Overpayment, I would then like to be able to create a Bill from this payment so that the refund it sitting in Bills Awaiting Payment.
