  1. When reconciling bank account, then publishing it should display the bank details as setup in chart of accounts - it just just says bank reconciliation. So makes it hard to know which report is which. Once reconciled it should default to the the next date so you don't have to change dates continuously.

  2. Currently the bill payments from Xero option does not support the Co-operative Bank (business). I would like this to be extended to the co-operative as soon as possible. The co-op bank tells me that they support token.io - can you consider supporting this?

  4. Payment processing - when we make a bulk payment on the bills screen they should be sent to a separate tab so that its easy to see when payments are being processed. This would remove the risk of duplication of accidentally processing bulk payments twice.

  5. Hi, Please can we have the ability to allocate past years overpayments to invoices outstanding after the accounts are closed. These accounts do not form part of the main ledgers, being personal accounts, therefore the allocations should be made possible, as they were in Microsoft MOA. This would tidy up much of the personal accounts for customers and suppliers.

    Hi Iris, it sounds like you're using Lock dates here and would like to allocate credit from an overpayment that was created in a locked period to an invoice after the lock date.

    Atm, if you'd like to allocate credit you could either remove the lock date to do this, or apply a refund to the original overpayment and recreate and apply the overpayment for a date post the lock date. We'll continue to track the interest of this here, however want to be open that we don't have plans to change the behaviour of lock dates currently.

  6. It would be good if the "Manual Journal" can be linked to Customer and view at "Billable Expenses - Outstanding".

  7. Please introduce the ability to connect a wider range of Virgin Money business accounts. At present this is limited to accounts with sort codes starting with 05 or 82. All other accounts, e.g. their high interest savings account that my business has, are forced to do manual uploads of statements.

    We pay Xero enough, and you are happy to shout about less useful changes you make to products so can we have some actual improvements that save small businesses admin time for once!

  11. Our bookkeeper needs an audit file (IAF) to make our annual report. Currently downloading an IAF file is only possible for Singapore clients and not for Xero Global clients. Would be very useful if this would be available for everybody.

  12. It would be very helpful to have an option to select ALL transactions in an account, rather than a specific dates/ranges. So, when looking at account transactions, in the Date Range drop down options, simply add "All" so we can see EVERYTHING from day 1.

    For example, when looking at a Balance Sheet account, it would be nice to see when the initial transactions were entered which may have been 2, 3 or 4 years previously. At the moment, we need to keep changing dates to try and capture everything - time consuming.

  13. AU Payroll - Setting up a Director in payroll

    When setting up an Employee in payroll that is only being paid Directors fees, you're not able to add their info directly in the Employee tab. Instead, you need to add the directors' fees pay item to their pay template, while also setting up a 0 rate in the ordinary earnings rate.
    It would be great if you could pull the Directors fees through to the Employee tab, rather than having to create a 0 rate to allow setup.

Currently, all our tracking categories are available to those entering expenses, however, the majority are not relevant to expenses (although they are required for invoicing so we cannot remove them from the list). We would like to be able to chose which items in the categories are available and which are not, just like we are able to with the GL accounts.

  16. I currently use Xero Files to store documents. Most of the documents are PDF's but some are Excel spreadsheets. Unfortunately, Xero Files doesn't recognise duplicate documents so, when uploading to Xero, it's necessary to compare the Xero file with my personal file in order to determine which documents need to be uploaded. It would be good if Xero Files recognised duplicates so all documents could be selected for upload with Xero simply flagging the duplicates with an option to either "skip" or to "skip all".

  17. The ATO has announced a Sharing Economy Reporting Regime Report (SERR) where all Sharing Economy businesses also known as 'EDP operator' (electronic distribution platform) also known as "Intermediary" are required to report twice a year. When will this Report be prioritised by Xero?

  18. Please add the ability to switch off the suggested reconciliation entries for individual users or for all users if easier. It is a setting that shows an OK button that looks a lot like the OK for rules and other matches, and it makes users trigger happy with the OK, which leads to reconciliation account coding errors.

  20. Enable tax AMOUNT instead of the rigid tax rate in Bills.

    If you consider a Zoom phone bill, there are 3 different taxes that apply to the bill (1 Federal + 2 City). Tax rates simply DON'T WORK, Xero is too rigid.

    Why not offer a simple tax AMOUNT box where we can type a USD amount, instead of forcing some tax rate?

    And it's exactly the same for INVOICES.
    The ability to set a tax AMOUNT rather than a tax rate is indispensable.
