It's critical to have this option in xero I have so many fields needs to be added to the customer invoice, columns, lines, changing in header ...

The ability to add columns and lines of data should be standard. I can't believe it isn't already! As a wholesaler, my customers with multiple stores and a large product range need to be able to clearly identify what when who and how many!

Contact fields need to be customisable, i have extra info that i need to attach to customers. my previous invoice software (invoiceit) allowed you to customise all contact fields , i run a storage site so i need to input the customers storage pitch number, reg plate , key fob no, object stored etc. please add this as it would make your software perfect for my needs .

Many fields in Xero's Contacts have no pertinence to our business. Trust us, there are more useful fields than are dreamt of in Xero's current scheme.

Within Client record: Main Contact/Title (not Billing/AP contact), Preferred shipping method, Dock at site y/n + hours of op, Customs Broker/Acct#, Classification, Referral. On Invoice: PO#, shipment and delivery dates.

Different businesses have different client data that's important to invoicing. For Xero to provide invoicing to its clients, it must be the repository for certain client-related data. Thus, custom fields are necessary.

I need to add site addresses or vehicle IDs to invoices (not customer cards). It would not require too much code at Xeros end to allow a <Misc1> field in the invoice template which could become a line item in the final invoice.

Really really need to add just a simple multiplier column, astounded it doesn't exist already. We hire out equipment for events so we need to multiply unit price by the quantity of items hired AND the number of days hired for. Please consider this as there are many many industries that need multiple columns of price multiplication.

YOU MUST ADD THIS FEATURE OR WE'LL HAVE TO MOVE ON FROM XERO AND CALL IT A DAY . THERE IS NO EXCUSE FOR NOT HAVING THIS OPTION

Need to identify the type of product/service purchased by the customer. If we use the ItemName in the header and there are multiple line items this does not work because it pulls in multiple rows.

Custom fields solves this problem.

When quoting it would be ideal to be able to state the Unit of Measure for the line item for example (per/ m3, or per/m, per/tonne, etc) as this can change within each quote. As well as a line item reference number from the client within the quote.

It is a legal requirement for us to have a contact Business Registration number on all invoices - so it would be great to be able to add this field in.

I desperately need this feature. Both for the header of the template at the top and at the bottom below the line items.

Id love the opportunity to be able to do a bulk invoice for our customer and have a custom field where we can input their PO#. as we invoice hundreds of orders at one time this will decrease paper and work it the office.

Custom fields would be great to add additional 'tax type' columns. For example, Fuel adjustment factor to increase line by line totals where relevant.

Allow more details to be added to the Invoice template, i.e. site address, insurance company, policy no. etc

My clients would like two reference fields, one for their ref and one for their client ref and then they can search using these fields too.

I use Xero for a club and would love the ability to create custom fields to identify types of membership, customers etc and then search on these fields.

Useful to create a custom field in contact masterfile to identify contact types (eg travel suppliers) and the ability to search on this field.

This would also be useful for suppliers - in South Africa we are required to report annually on our spend from various levels of supplier based on their BEE credentials. If we could add these credentials to the supplier information we would be able to generate the required reports from Xero.

Postal Address and Street Address SHOULD BE CHANGED to Billing Address and Shipping Address with the ability to tick a check box if these are the same address.

This would be extremely helpful for sending International Customs invoices that require EORI and VAT codes. We are using Xero US version, and there is nowhere to put that information.
