This aspect of Xero and XeroMe is very limiting.

It is critical for my organisation to have different timesheet approvers for different departments and currently it is a very convoluted process and one in which staff have access to information that is not relevant to them.

Xero should definately implement this urgently.

I would like to be able to give an admin access to add in timesheets for staff but not access all of the payroll and personal details. We receive manual timesheets for offshore staff and currently only I can add their timesheets because I don't want admin staff to be able to view salaries!

It will be really good if only the required authorises are seen in Xero me.

It would be awesome if managers had the ability to reduce the number of Approvers to keep things simple for everyone and so that employees don't have to scroll through a list and look for 1 name amongst a stack of approvers that never get used. Is this an option available yet?

Please add this feature - we have a business where the approver of timesheets and leave is not an employee. We dont want this person to have full payroll access so please add a User Type for approving timesheets and leave

Inside the Xero Me app, when employees select a timesheet and then click on Submit it gives them a list of Approvers, the vast majority of which seem to be Xero staff and don't work at our company (e.g. our employees have to select an approver from a list of 36 Approvers, 35 of which don't work at my company).

It would be useful where two approvers are required for two different employee groups to limit an approver to only those employees in their group so that all they can see is payroll relating to their employess, not to the other employees and not to any other facilites - eg not to see reports, bills, invoices etc but literally just to be able to approve the timesheets of those employees for whom they have responsibility - so a very very limited access to Xero functionalities

Please allow timesheet approval as a sub option to payroll admin in the user set up, similar to "invoice only" option in the business and accounting setup. We have employees on labour hire contracts that need to submit their hours to the client supervisor for approval so that we can get paid. We want to be able to add the client rep without giving them full access to payroll. The only current work around is to add them as as a "Contractor - Non Employee" in Xero Payroll
