    Hi team, appreciate not exactly what's being asked here but to confirm what's available at present. 

    In the Balance Sheet and Profit & Loss you can now show Account code through the More option. From here, use the layout editor to drag & drop accounts to the order you'd like. 

    Once set up deselect the option to show Account code and your ordering will remain while the codes are not shown within the report. 

    You can also Save as custom so you can then access this layout anytime you need. 

    To go deeper with the insights for our team here, it's be good to know the specific reports you're wanting to see this feature in.

    Hi community, we want to update you that we've recently released the ability to include Purchase Orders (PO) through Payable Invoice Summary report. If you expand the side panel on the left of the report and select the 'Outstanding purchase orders summary' report, this will automatically display all Bills, Credit Notes and Purchase Orders and group them by Contact for you. You can use the total row of each contact to infer the remaining balance.

    We're aware this may not directly show the information that you’re asking for here, so we'll keep the status idea as it is and we’ll let you know if there’s any further updates.

  3. Where recurring bills relate to monthly charges, invoiced on a daily rate, can a feature be set up so that the number of units automatically defaults to the number of days in the month of billing?

  4. Bill Due Date

    At the moment the due date can't be set as prior to the bill's actual date. We self-bill a lot of customers on a monthly basis, but pay them on 27th or the last working day before then. We would like to set the bill date to the last day of the month, but can't.

  5. In the Files area, there are some that you do not know of until you opened them, and upon seeing them, it's not needed for the business. You have to close the file, either select the checkbox then delete, or the option button on the right to delete. Can you add a Delete function upon opening the file so we don't have to click close just to delete unwanted files? Thank you!.

  7. when i filter through Payable invoice Report, it only allows to select groups containing but not excluding certain contact groups. i have only suppliers under no group, Euros & DD and i wish to exclude these within DD group to be excluded to avoid double paying them.

  8. Project invoicing to show time in minutes/hours for time entries
    This is a requirement of many of our customers. Eg time sent 30 mins shows as 0.5 on invoice. We need a column that shows time for the task time enry. At present we need to manually type 30 mins in the task description to meet customer invoicing requirements.

  9. I would suggest to about the Contacts function. Currently, the system automatically merge the contact information with the same name first and last name when importing the contacts. It's very common that customers have same first name and last name. I think it's better for Xero to have diagnostic to ask if the contacts imported are the same before merging. The auto merging function is creating lots of issue when the customers name are the same.

  10. Currently, it’s not possible to assign a invoice only-Purchases (orders and bills) user permission and not be able to see bills paid or to have the Invoice Only create drafts user role and see purchase orders approved by other users. Can you include this option in Xero?

  13. It could be helpful to have the functionality to be able to copy and existing company in Xero in order to create a new one with the same details. This would make setup of the new one much faster particularly when companies have multiple entities that do the same thing just in different states / Emirates / countries even. You can pretty much copy anything else within Xero so it would be beneficial to be able to just clone the company itself.

  15. I need to be able to track all my project expenses, including labor costs, for each project. All the labor data is already in Gusto, my payroll provider. Currently I have to create a report in Gusto then manually enter the data in Xero. I also have to manually maintain two lists of the same projects: one list in Xero, and one list in Gusto. I would like the Projects in Xero to synchronize (two way) with the Projects in Gusto. I would also like to be able to pull (or synch) the project labor cost from Gusto to Xero.

  16. I often take part-payments against customer invoices in Xero. But, when I use the app, the full sales invoice amount appears rather than the remaining balance. The app should show the remaining balance on sales invoices - when viewing the list of unpaid invoices.

  17. On payslips and in reports, I think there should be dates next to the following items so it isn't confusing for the employee and when checking reports. It makes it more transparent too.

  18. The inability to attach credit notes from a batch is becoming increasingly problematic. To clarify: multiple credit notes sent from suppliers under 1 PDF - there isn't the capability to transfer these into a separate folder and then attach each PDF multiple times when creating a credit note from a supplier. As soon as it is attached once it disappears! I have had multiple occasions where there are numerous credits in one PDF and am having to write all but one down in longhand so I can then create the Credits.   19. I am working with Société Générale (France) and we are not so lucky to have the automated bank transactions functionality. Our bank is combining both main bank movement and credit card movements in their OFX format.

    This currently gives me the following error message in Xero : The file selected contains more than one statement which is not currently supported. Download a file with transactions for one account and try again.

    My error message finds its cause in the fact that I have an export from the bank that contains both <bankmsgrsv1> and <creditcardmsgrsv1> transactions.

    1. As a senior manager I want to export a report, in one operation, a table of employee name and hours left to book, I need this to chase employees who are not taking leave and know the financial risk we are carrying in the business from untaken leave e.g.
