  1. Need to be able to send credit notes including bill credit notes to customer/ supplier with one click. Equally as important as sending them an invoice/ purchase order.

  2. This will allow for easy review of an employee's age alongside their current payrate and adjustment post birthday. Currently, I run two reports, Employee Contact Details and Employee Remuneration Report, export to excel and merge to allow cross reference of all information. The remuneration Report would also benefit from having all wage categories to select if needed, ie: Saturday Rate, Sunday Rate, Public Holiday Rate etc. Negating the need to access each employee pay template to check correct rates have been set up.

  3. Unscheduled pay run - most of my unscheduled pay runs are paid on the day of creation.
    It would be good to be able to change the payment date to the actual date of payment instead of the date selected by the unscheduled pay run.

    E.g. unscheduled pay run for the week ending 13th Aug has a payment date of 16th Aug yet payment may have been made on 18th Sep.

  4. A report that shows the total paying a supplier in a payment batch, currently we can only produce a Batch report that has individual invoices and a total over all but no total by supplier.

    Optional to have supplier bank details paying to would also be great

  5. It would be very useful to be able to separate Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable to classify the contacts between external and internal (intercompany/group). This would assist with the consolidated views for a group of entities.

  8. I'd like the Reconcile pages to allow me to select some all of my bank accounts to display. This would aggregate the unreconciled statement lines and display them all in date order to be reconciled all the same time.

    Reason 1: Convenience. I use several bank accounts and would prefer to reconcile all of the transactions in one go.

    Reason 2: Error reduction. The most common error I see relating my clients' bank balances is their misuse of Transfer (setting the wrong account, using it for accounts that aren't linked etc.). If they could see both accounts and therefore both…

  9. I would like to know if there is ever going to be an update to Xero me timesheets to allow employees to enter words instead of regular hours in the description box eg. I am a house builder and have about 6 different sites on the go at the same time and I would like to be able to allocate my employees time to which house they were working on so that I can then charge the customer the correct fee. My employees get different rates of pay so not easy to set up using timesheet tracking.

  10. STP2 Allowances. Not reportable at W1 should push that information through with STP, but it doesn't. Using reimbursements as a work around is not good enough - better syncing is needed.

  11. To reassign or remove multiple billable expenses at once and to make edits to billable expenses from within reports.

    Hi Sue, appreciate you sharing here. So I can share this back to the most appropriate product teams - Are there any places in particular within Xero that you'd find this handy? Is there a reason being able to see the Contact ABN is useful for you? 

  13. Be able to copy reports created in the "Demo" company to a live company instead of having to start from scratch again. The concept of the Demo company is great - to experiment and learn. Just need to easily be able to implement those learnings into a live situation.

  14. Ask for Xero to auto generate GST data entry on Bills.
    I wish to only enter gross invoice total and GST paid amounts and have XERO calculate and record GST free line and GST inclusive line - This was a valuable feature of Quicken.

  15. At the moment, there are two places you can find out if there are billable expenses outstanding for a Contact: at the bottom of the Sales Overview, and in one report.

    A total should be visible in the header of Contacts that have had billable expenses assigned to them (including if there's Projects assigned to that Contact with uninvoiced expenses).

    There should also be a widget for the dashboard similar to the section at the bottom of the Sales Overview.

    These will make it easier to remember to on-bill expenses in a timely fashion.

  16. When a bill is generated through Email-to-Bill the bill history only says System Generated and 'Received through Email-to-Bill'
    It would be much more valuable to see the sender's email here (e.g. 'Received through Email-to-Bill from ***@gmail.com') in case a follow-up is needed

  17. Can we please have the ability to set a due date for an expense? Currently it is set as the day it is approved, but we pay all our expenses for the whole month, on the 15th of the following month. It would be good to be able to set this as default for any expenses raised.

  18. To be add the job title of a primary person and additional person in a contact details.
    Xero is not a CRM but to manage the invoicing and bills relationship with contact, it could be great to know the position of the person on the other side.
    It could be a great add-on as to know to whom we are addressing our email in the contact company.

    Hi community, we understand how being able to add a persons job title in contacts would help distinguish and identify within a contact.

    Being open, this isn't something we have plans of for the time being. Right now, though not the ideal solution you could possibly use the notes feature in contacts to add detail of the differentials. We know this won't solve the needs for everyone in the idea but may help for some scenarios.

    If there is any plans made around this we will update you of this, here.

  19. For permanent employees, all XERO business customers should be able to calculate their future leave balances. This will allow a business owner to know if they can approve the leave or not, or what conversation to have with a team member.

    I hope this idea is backed and implemented.
