  1. Have the ability to create more than one report style (colour and logo) so when you export to a 'Styled PDF' there are choices beyond 'no styling' and your default.

  2. It doesn't make sense that these are part of the same privilege checkbox.
    Marking something as Approved is something that a senior person (manager/partner) is responsible for.
    Marking something as Out to Sign is something that an administration person is responsible for.
    Options are:
    Give the admin person the privilege and they can approve something they shouldn't be able to (risk to firm).
    Not give the admin the privilege and the manager has to log back into Xero Tax to mark it as out to sign after the admin person has packaged it up and sent it out (waste of…

  3. I would greatly appreciate the option to easily print or download only the pages of a tax return that requires the client's signature, without including the entire document. This feature would be particularly valuable for accountants who frequently need just the signature pages from multiple tax returns. Currently, the process of manually extracting these pages using another software is quite time-consuming.

  5. I use Xero Tax to prepare all my self-assessment returns for clients and I'd like to send out a reminder this month of the POA due at the end of the month along with their UTR references. Is there any way to produce a report from Xero Tax summarising this information by client which could be exported to Excel and used as basis for a mail merge? If not, this would be really helpful and presumably, as the information is already held in Xero Tax to generate the Payment Reports this should not be very complex to develop. Thanks

  6. Ask Queries - Automated reminders
    The ability to have automated reminders on Ask queries would save substantial time (and reduce likelihood of things getting forgotten) and reduce likelihood of having to go to an alternative paid app in order to get this functionality (eg ContentSnare)

    Hi community, we appreciate the continued attention this idea is receiving. While our team will continue to review this idea, Xero Tax remains a Partner only product with tools and capabilities that help Xero Partners serve their clients with ease, and we don't have immediate intentions of changing this. Again, we'd like to encourage that if you're not currently connected to a Xero Partner you can find one that can serve your advisor needs through our Advisor Directory.   8. We leverage the Income Tax Client Report within XPM, and report on lodgements leveraging this data. It would be great if there was the ability to schedule the Tax Agent Request to the ATO for refreshed data - e.g. once per week, so that the reporting we have is automatically refreshed periodically and this doesn't rely on a person refreshing the data manually.

  9. It is not currently possible to use Report Fields in a group heading in reports.

    We spend time setting up shareholder and director names in Report Fields but they can only be used in text blocks, not group headings in reports. If we could use Report Fields in group headings we could make report templates, such as the schedule of shareholder current accounts, more dynamic and automatic. See the screenshot attached for an example.

    Hi everyone, we appreciate the continued interest in the timer in Practice Manager. As mentioned in my last update, work for a Pause option would require a lot of work, and it's not something we have plans for right now.

    However, we understand this is important to our customers and when our team have more capacity we'll explore how we might develop solution for this.

    We will keep let you know if there is any progression to share here.

  11. Projects: On project summary report include column for who project is assigned to. This will be useful if calculating work in progress per assigned user.

  12. allow quantities to be added direclty to the ledger and then to feed into reporting templates. manualy entered reporting data is fraught with danger and history is lost from year to year, which means we are replugging data every year...current "semi-automated" practice doesnt seem to fit with xero ethos

  14. The ability to look up client by entering their client code. Currently we have to go to groups and find the client belonging to the group. Our admin system is based on client codes and it would make it easier having the client code look up option.

  16. Improve the look of the client signatures on document packs. Particularly with the financial statements, it includes a date and a name but this already is present on the document.

    If we could have different elements for name, signature and date that would make it look clearer.

  17. It would be helpful to merge clients in XPM where two accounts have been created (different names) and tax returns filed under each one. For example a client entered under their maiden name and married name who have filed tax returns. In our case a duplicate was accidently created when doing the return and we have no way to now shift the tax return to the correct and active client account in XPM.

  19. As an accountant I use a trial balance for every file I open.
    Can the trial balance be set as a standard report/ automatically added to favourites in the accounting option or each user be able to chose a standard group of favourite reports for all clients - Pain having to go into each new file i access and add to my favourites.

  20. Hi,
    In tax returns for clients that have a business schedule in their ITR, when an asset is fully depreciated, in the following year it disappears from the tax return and depreciation schedule altogether.

    Is there a way assets can remain on the depreciation schedule? It is very handy to have a full depreciation schedule for all assets, particularly if clients sell assets in the following years.
