  1. Sorting Draft Invoices by Job Type

    Every quarter we invoice a large amount of standard disbursement costs these all come from a particular job type.
    It would be great if we could sort by job type so we could bulk approve these invoices. Currently it looks to sort by job number. This means when I 'select all' I have to manually go through and untick the draft invoices that have another job type. I have tried to set a filter to only show text with 'Quarterly' which shows in the job type but this produces no results.

  2. Would like the ability to see Write-ons / Write-offs on the Invoices dashboard for Draft invoices to allow easier review of drafts.

    Alternatively some form of reporting that takes draft invoices into account vs billable time to see 'draft write-ons/offs'.

  6. We have an increasing number of clients with compromised TFNs that have had to get added security on their ATO lodgments. When we lodge for these clients, it isn't always obvious if it's gone through or not, and as it is our assistants lodging and not the client managers, we can't expect them to memorise every secured client off by heart. We need a way to flag the client (other than a client note or a note on the form as these aren't checked regularly as part of the lodgement process).

  7. Practice Admin have the ability to remove themselves if they have been invite into a potential clients org without manage users.

    Potential clients that decide to not go ahead with a Practice but done remove the PA from the org, PA should have the ability to remove themselves.

  8. Add Last Items on Hubdoc invoices - lines to be populated in the same order as the previous one. And/or enable the function to rearrange the line items on a multiple line invoice in Hubdoc (like you can in Xero).

  10. Please add ability to reorder accounts (lines) on a workpaper in Xero Workpaper. This is painful both for automatically populating workpapers (which go in the impractical alphabetical order) and custom workpapers (where every new line is added at the bottom...).

  12. It's great that there is now the option to finalise and create a bill on a BAS...however that is not the default choice for Tax & BAS Agents so it would be nice if the big button was to FINALISE the BAS and the small button with the option to create the bill. Leave it as default in the linked to ATO BAS (lodge and create bill) but for BAS that aren't being lodged in Xero directly it's not helpful.

  14. Need a placeholder for title (Mr/Ms etc) for cover letters. It should be an easy implementation, as tax returns should already have that as a label. We need it for the address section of the cover letter.

  15. This is not a simple feature request. This is a blatant fault with how Xero Tax handles asset figures.

    In this particular case we have two accounts in the book-keeping records for CIS tax, because we wish to track CIS deducted by contracted on sales and CIS deducted from subcontractors separately. Transfers are made between the accounts as appropriate when liabilities are reported for payment to HMRC.

    At the year end, we want to show this as a single balance. As the net result was an asset at the year end, we tagged both to an appropriate asset type. Instead…

    Appreciate your input here, everyone. Our team is aware of the challenges our partners are facing around the auto-reversal of negative balance. It’s on their roadmap to investigate and provide a better user experience.

    For the time being, I’ll move this idea into ‘Under review’ status. And when there's movement, we'll make sure to come back here and let you all know.

  16. Can we have a setting to enable the status section of the Xero destination tab to enable the user to select the status for all documents to be either - draft, awaiting approval or awaiting payment. this save time in having to select this each time a document is uploaded.

  17. I review postings by bookkeepers to Xero.

    It would make things easier if the account transactions report could be filtered by the date that new invoices and journals were posted.

    For example, when writing this I am in the middle of reviewing changes to the quarter ended 31 August 2024. If I could identify the new invoices added to that quarter it would save me time.

    The date I am talking about is the actual date the invoice or journal was added, not the date entered on the invoice.

  18. We're auditors and some of our clients are having issues around providing consistent access to everything as they don't want us to have read-write access, and we don't want that either. What we'd like is a user class for auditors/regulators which is read only and allows access to everything.

  19. There are client level fields for phone and fax numbers. We have not had a fax machine in the office for a number of years. and it would be more useful to have these fields nominated as landline and mobile numbers. Consideration would have to be given to how this meshes into FYIDocs and FuseSign as FuseSign has issues if the phone number field does not meet its defined parameters.
