  1. Stop dating in 1900s.
    Today I typed in the date 5/3/25. Click on the little calendar that appears, the month says March 25. Click on 5 March 25.

    Hubdoc interprets this as the year 1925.

    I dont think there are many people entering receipts from 100 years ago.
    Please remove those last century calendars from Hubdoc.

    While you fix that, since the Hubdoc file is linked to a Xero file can you also stop hubdoc processing into a closed year. It warns you AFTER it's been sent to Xero, then doesn't let you correct it because of the status -…

    We have a separate idea around the lock dates that I've just added your vote for across here. We don't have any plans for this but if any are made I'll let you know, there.

  2. Currently when producing and filing (lodging) a CURNN is does not display the Financial Year it relates to. It would be very helpful to have the FY displayed so it is easily identifiable. The same as all the other Tax Returns.

  3. Delete or archive draft Partnership returns in Xero Tax UK - if a draft is created in error it just stays on the dashboard, eventually showing as overdue and clogging up the dashboard's useful information. If full deletion is not an option, for audit purposes, then I'd like to at least be able to archive it and remove it from my dashboard view.

  4. Client Insights is fantastic for showing client by client stats.
    How about providing a TOTAL for the entire client list or filtered list, so that you can see how each client compares to the selected "community" of clients

    We've reviewed your suggestion to enhance it further by showing a total for the client list or a filtered group. We can see how this would provide valuable context, allowing you to easily benchmark how an individual client compares to the rest of the community.

  6. It would be good to be able to run a report of all Xero clients that have unfiled STP, or be able to view at a glance on XeroHQ. This would assist in making sure clients are meeting their compliance obligations quickly rather than go into every client to look at the Payroll Overview.

  7. We need the ability to issue a cheque and track cheque numbers in currency that is not the home currency. Example CAD is home currency. We have a USD bank account and issue cheques on that USD account but we are unable to confirm the cheques have been issued in sequence as there is no log. We are also unable to issue a cheque from that account.

  8. Hi,

    When completing Deceased Estate returns in Xero Tax, it seems as per the screenshot provided the newly added estimates does not calculate the Super Lump Sum Tax Offset given the complexity and nature of the Lump Sums.

    Is there a way to have Xero Tax calculate the estimate with the Super Lump Sum Tax Offset taken into consideration as it has been in the past on MYOB? This way we can obtain a more accurate estimate of the tax payable for the Trustee.

  9. Be able to set up default coding for the Document Type to always be Receipt, and Document Status to always be Awaiting Payment. This at present isn't possible within Hubdoc.

    Hi Christine, just making sure I understand what you'd like to see here. Would this be to sort all organisations you have access to from your My Xero page ordered by the # of unreconciled items ?

  11. When using the field [Client] Group(s) as a criteria in step 3 of report builder, you can only specify the relevant client group name in the text field. There's currently no functionality for a drop down list of client groups to select from similar to the clients field. Requesting this as an option

  12. It would be good to be able to customise the Declaration that is just above the signing line in the Tax Returns. The default wording is quite broad, and it we would prefer to be able to customise it to reduce our risk. Clients are not always truthful in reporting all income, and we need to protect ourselves.

  14. Make a force sync button from Xero to Hubdoc.
    E.g. adding a new account in Xero takes a while for it to eventually show in Hubdoc.
    Unless you have to disable and reactivate the Xero-Hubdoc link

    Why not a button, that just 'force sync' the new chart of accounts into Hubdoc?

  15. It would be great if ALL users (ie practice staff) in Xero HQ could see all Xero files. It should be obvious on the list which are accessible and which are not (ie if you didn't have access, the Xero org name could be greyed out)

    In terms of access, if a particular staff member did not have access to a Xero file, they should be able to request access from a HQ Administrator (with mange user access of course) which can be granted easily. Would be handy to have a 'Why' comment field so the approver knows the context…

  16. The way prepayments work in Xero, these only impact the Accounts Receivable once it's applied to an invoice, therefore they don't impact the total of the statement balance.

    Solution for now enter prepayments as Overpayments to the Customer's account. My recommendation is that we have the ability to modify the words in the Activity field that appear on statements, so when overpayment is the desired function to use to trick Xero to show the payment as a credit on a statement, I would like to modify the field that says Overpayment to say "Prepayment" on the statement for the customer…

  17. The Chart of Accounts interface within the client's Xero organisation displays a limitation of 200 accounts per page. This necessitates frequent clicks of the 'Next' button, which can be inefficient. It is believed that the Xero Product Team could enhance this feature to allow the display of an unlimited number of accounts on a single page, mirroring the functionality currently available in the Chart of Accounts template within Xero HQ.

    Thanks for sharing in the community here. While we appreciate there are some organisation's that have a large number of accounts, the current 200 limit per page is sufficient for majority of organisations to see their full list of accounts and we don't have plans for extending this.

  18. When each job is created, we manually have to add the contact to the job. If this is not done, the invoice that is pushed to Xero Blue doesn't have contact information and we are unable to utilise the automatic reminders etc. This requires manual monitoring and negates the efficiencies within Xero Blue.

    This manual process would be solved if we had the ability to set the Primary Contact as the default contact on jobs that are created. This could for example, be set up as a tick box in settings. This could give people the option to switch on…

  19. Add option for second week under XPM capacity settings to allow for 9-day fortnight. With the current setup only allowing for one week, this impacts the staff KPI reporting rendering it bascially a useless feature.

Currently the Aged Receivables Summary dose not include Contacts with Zero balances. this causes a completness risk when reporting or trying to reconcile customers. it is strongly requested that the report has an option to include contacts with zero balances. this can be applied to suppliers as well.
