  1. In APS you have the ability to live synch the tax ledger. As an example a transfer to 2025 from 2024 income tax made today won't show until the next day in the tax return summary.
    A synch button to do this would be helpful and save time from stopping the job until the next day to print/save

  2. Similarly to iFirm, would be great to be able to make amendments to the return in Xero, mark it as an amendment, and then file from Xero rather than having to make the amendment in MyIR, then make the same amendment to the already filed tax return in Xero. Makes it harder to keep track of what has been done.

  3. Please reinstate the ability to edit email addresses under the bulk email function under Tax > Payments. Depending on the type of tax notice, we have to send a tax notice to a staff member and copy in an additional person. It will not allow us to enter in a second email address under the client profile. This is very time consuming if we have to send it out twice and inefficient.

Have the ability to run a report to include in the Financial Statements that is a Group Summary, so includes all selected entities within a group and details all amounts payable or refunds due for all upcoming provisional and terminal tax dates (regardless of balance date) and a Net Tax position

  5. If a client fails to pay the first installment of provisional tax why is it then added to the next installment and then P1 shows as nothing due. This is incorrect, the amount due at P1 is still the same (per the IRD), the debt at P1 has not moved to P2. What happens for client's who have RIT over $60k?

  7. In Tax Statements, under Transfers tab: the "auto mark as complete" needs to happen by both amount and date. So need the ability to set the effective date for the transfer to occur, therefore if IRD does something different we are alerted.

    Currently if transfer is the same $ value or more, then Xero automatically marks as complete, this should not occur. If the $ is more then the transfer has not gone as expected and we need to be alerted to this.

  8. For notes made in Tax Payments: these need to be split into 2 areas, (1) notes pertaining to that provisional installment and, (2) notes that will continue to roll forward.

    It is crucial that even if the installment date has passed, the notes are still visible. Also from the main Tax Payments screen we need an indicator on the client row to show that the client has an active note (with the ability to archive a note as well).

  9. Naturally, when emailing in invoices and receipts, we end up with extraneous items in the Docs Pane on the left hand side. To delete these, we currently only have a small 'delete' button in the far top right corner, followed by a confirmation message in the centre of the screen.

    It'd be great if the UI was updated to have either:
    - a delete button closer to the Docs Pane on the left hand side
    - some right click functionality, to allow us to delete documents
    - some keyboard shortcuts to allow us to process these items much quicker

  10. I’d like to suggest adding an automated feature for populating dates in the Company Minutes, using the reporting date as a reference. This would eliminate the need to manually update dates throughout the document, saving time and reducing errors.

  11. Where the individual client title has been changed to "Executor for" or "Representative for" the declarations should also be updated with this information. Currently the declarations still just use the individual name, who may be deceased or unable to sign on their own behalf.

  13. When each job is created, we manually have to add the contact to the job. If this is not done, the invoice that is pushed to Xero Blue doesn't have contact information and we are unable to utilise the automatic reminders etc. This requires manual monitoring and negates the efficiencies within Xero Blue.

    This manual process would be solved if we had the ability to set the Primary Contact as the default contact on jobs that are created. This could for example, be set up as a tick box in settings. This could give people the option to switch on…

  15. Would like the ability to see Write-ons / Write-offs on the Invoices dashboard for Draft invoices to allow easier review of drafts.

    Alternatively some form of reporting that takes draft invoices into account vs billable time to see 'draft write-ons/offs'.

  16. Improve multi currency capability of XPM.

    Currently, XPM only caters for invoicing out in the base currency and so invoices are done out of Xero. When it compes to KPI reports out of XPM, the info is all wrong. Invoice amounts pull through in invoice currency and not base currency, where as time is calculated in the base currency, these are incorrectly picked up as over and unders.   17. Allow for credit card credits to be posted as negative expenses. This will permit matching in QBO bank section. Currently credit card credits are not matchable and cause confusion with client staff unaware of what to do with these orphan transactions in QBO.

  18. It would be good to be able to run a report of all Xero clients that have unfiled STP, or be able to view at a glance on XeroHQ. This would assist in making sure clients are meeting their compliance obligations quickly rather than go into every client to look at the Payroll Overview.

  19. NZ Tax - Can we get the ability to create a future period tax return using the current years format. We would still need to submit the return manually through the IRD. It would be much simpler to create a draft in Xero instead of using the PDF versions from the IRD.

  20. Would it be possible to have a report that shows the bank transactions and the bill/invoices that it was reconciled with? It's time consuming to check transactions one by one just to find a transaction that was incorrectly reconciled. Please see below example for your reference.
