  1. It would be great if there was some automatic notification to the client/job manager that a draft invoice has been raised and is awaiting approval.

    Probably just one email per day so they are not being spammed!

  2. Name of user in account transaction list - Would it be possible that the username of the person who edited or created a specific transaction be visible when downloading the account transaction? This is to make it easier to track who updated the information.

  3. The ability to see the history of an item's selling pricing within the Invoicing screen would be extremely helpful. Sales staff would be able to quickly access the selling price history of items within the Invoice screen to ensure that the latest price is used on invoices.

    The ability to see this history within the invoice screen will also remove the need to access a separate report in Xero to view the history of inventory item sales price, which will save a lot of time.

  4. Hi There,

    We are wanting to add a new column under the family group view in XPM to show the budget against the open jobs. Making it easier to see what budget has been allocated again each job to make it easier for billing.

  7. It would be ideal to have the ability to remove yourself from a practice in XPM. For example, if you are consulting to a firm and they aren't maintaining their staff list and removing access promptly when the contract is complete, you would be able to have more control over the security of a file and keeping your list of practices clean by being able to remove yourself from their practice.

Currently I include all my invoices in my Bills waiting for payment, when the payment comes out of my account and waiting for reconciliation in the Dashboard, I "find and Match" the transaction with the bills awaiting payment and invoices attached, but the invoices don't carry over so need to be reinput, which seems unnecessarily time consuming is there a way to consolidate the action?

    Thanks for sharing, Elizabeth - when you say the invoices don't come across could you explain a little more? Are these attachments to the bills that you've created or would this be sales invoices that you have entered in the organisation and also trying to reconcile?

  13. When setting up and adding workpaper packs, the roles assigned as Manager, Partner and Practice Admin can Add/View a Workpaper Pack for our Firm Financial File. These 3 types of users are rarely the owner or director of a firm. The only way to keep firm data protected is to have the director managing settings, adding workpaper packs and assigning the workpapers. This does not happen in practices. It is very rare the owner is setting up workpaper files. Why is there no option to directly lock the Tax and Workpapers of the firm? Seems far out of touch and…

In MYOB, we had individuals as well as partnerships and trusts (which names included surnames of the associated individuals) set up in surname order, which would allow the clients to be sorted, filtered and exported to various lists or worksheets in that order and make it easy to compare/pick up other fields that should be the same for the group/family members (like addresses, emails for tax notices etc).   16. Help business owners and team leaders easily identify where staff have submitted time for a week that is less than their capacity. That could be something on the dashboard or a report. XPM currently allows a staff member timesheet to be submitted without any warning that it is below the capacity amount. I shouldn't need to manually review and compare to the different capacity hours for full time and part time staff.

  17. Import VAT on goods and services received. We require a 100% VAT adjustment, tax rate. Where 100% of the subtotal goes into tax; and 0% goes into the cost. At the moment when allocating 100% VAT it adds the subtotal + 100% VAT = doubling the amount. The alternative is to use multiple lines to off set the subtotal and take 100% of the VAT. Other accounting software has the ability to do a 100% VAT adjustment on one cost line, eliminating the need for the multiple lines and offset.

  19. Knowing that FX disclosures were expanded to several reports. However, it is awkward when the Adviser report comprises of Statement of Financial Position, Statement of Comprehensive Income, Statement of Changes in Equity, Statements of Cash Flows and Notes to the Financial Statements, only the first two reports are able to be presented in other currency (Eg. SOFP & SOCI presented in USD but SOCE, SOCF and Notes in MYR). Can Xero enable the function of FX in every page of the adviser's report? Thank you.

  20. I would like a small change where the Accumulated Depreciation is a default column in the depreciation schedules report generated from Xero. I work with a significant number of clients who we run depreciation for each year and I would like to see the Accumulated Depreciation amount in the report by default without having to update the templates in every client file.
