Workpapers - GST and PST bills should generate the date of the end of the period reported
Generated GST and PST bills should generate the date of the end of the period reported. January to March reporting should generate a report with the date of March 31, 2024 and not the date of that the bill is generated.

XPM - Ability to bill more than the WIP with write-on, but carry credit forward.
XPM Billing - Ability to bill more than the WIP without WIP write-on.
If XPM allows carrying credits forward for future use against more work in the future, similar to other traditional practice management software, that would be great. For example, Once we completed the job, we sent out the work with our invoice. If we can carry credits of an hour or two for clients to review the work, discuss and send back the signed copy, lodged & sent assessment etc. This additional time can be offset against the credits that we billed more than the WIP so we…

AU payroll | Superannuation Payment Reporting - Column for Paid on time and Paid late
Subject: Enhancement Request: Superannuation Payment Reporting
Dear Xero Team,
I am writing to suggest an enhancement that would greatly benefit our operations during tax return preparations. Currently, distinguishing between superannuation contributions paid on time and those paid late is a time-consuming and sometimes confusing process, especially for newcomers. I propose the development of a comprehensive report within Xero that automatically categorizes superannuation payments into 'Paid On Time' and 'Paid Late' based on statutory deadlines. This report should allow users to select specific quarters or custom date ranges, include detailed breakdowns with payment and due dates, and offer export options in…

Transaction list showing unapplied payment amount
We need a transaction list for all contact where the unapplied payment amount reflects. It is very difficult to compare our Xero statement with transaction list from a supplier (or debtor for that matter) if you have to export the Xero report on the contact to be able to add up all applied payments and then only be able to compare statements.
The Contact summary Report should have the option of seeing the report with applied payments or show the payment amount as it came (or was paid out) to suppliers / customers.2 votesHi Elmie, just trying to understand your idea here a little better - when you mention 'unapplied payment amount' would this be an amount that's been paid by your customer but hasn't yet been applied to the invoice, or the outstanding amount of an invoice once payment has been applied ?

Personal Tax (UK) | SA102M Ministers of Religion pages
I have a number of clients who require the SA102M Ministers of Religion pages. I'd really like to see these added to Xero Tax.

Generate a supplier payment list
Payment List
Is there a possibility to add tick boxes to the supplier age analysis? The tick boxes would allow you to produce a payment list of only the ticked suppliers.
The payment list can then be printed in pdf and sent to the payment department.2 votesHi Bianca, would this be the Aged Payables Summary or Detail reports that you're looking at? Within this report you'll be able to add a Filter for Contact where you can select only the contacts you'd like to see amounts for.

Practice Manager | Entities with the same name - Trusts & Superfunds
There needs to be functionality to have multiple trusts or superfunds with the same name i.e. Smith Family Trust or Brown Family Superannuation Fund, as ATO does no require these to be unique, without causing issue with invoices in Blue Xero or having to change the name in XPM to differentiate and have to change the name again each time you lodge. Same name trusts and superfunds is not uncommon.

XPM - Connect Microsoft Outlook for client sync
I have just learned that XPM does not connect to Outlook and thus Client data is not synced. I thought this would be the most important information to sync with outlook, Afterall clients are who accountants communicate with most.

Hubdoc - Auto-Archive for specific supplier
I would like to set an 'auto archive' rule at a supplier level. This would be useful for expense which have a bank rule set up in Xero. Eg Xero subscription bills, other subscription invoices.

Xero Tax (UK) | CT600 electric cars
why can't Xero resolve this. I assume it will be worked on to provide full functionality afterall it is common for companies to buy electric cars.
We have an update from our product team:
'On the Capital Allowances screen they can claim FYAs (add the addition line and in the FYA drop down choose standard) but the amount will be included in box 705.
"We don’t currently populate box 726, zero emission cars. If this applies, an HMRC note can be added on the CT UI. The HMRC note box is found at the top to the right of the…

GIFI Mapping Calculated Lines
While mapping accounts today, I discovered that you can map ALL GIFI codes, even those that are calculated in Taxcycle. This causes an issue when you import, as the calculated lines don't import and just disappear.
Perhaps talk to the people in Taxcycle to update the filter/list to exclude calculated GIFIs.

NZ Tax - Check of Overseas Income Jurisdiction codes to identify invalid country code
NZ Tax Audit Check of Overseas Income Jurisdiction Codes needs corrected to identify invalid country code UK and bring up a red error message. The correct code for the United Kingdom is GB not UK, the audit check should pick this up at the audit check stage which it currently does not. Thus when we go to file the return the return goes in to error as the jurisdiction code is invalid.

Direct signup link
Some sort of link for each partner so we can have clients sign up with us directly from our website. Alot of my clients sign up for all my services from a link on a website. This would be very beneficial in my opinion. See this one for example with zoho books.
1 voteThanks for your post here, Brian. We do have a sign up page that you could hyperlink to from your website - Would this be adequate for what you're after here?

XPM - Bill from WIP client list
How can I make the client and detail columns wider. It is very restrictive as I cant fully see the client code and description. I know this is a Xero development issue but it would help a lot. It is really convenient to bill from this screen. Also I arrange the clients alphabetically, and when going into a client and see what to bill, when i go back to the WIP list it defaults back to sorting by value.

Xero HQ: group search
I reckon Xero HQ - client group is an excellent avenue for sending bulk information, or request information, however, apparently when generate a new Bulk Query for the group, it's becoming difficult to allocate the particular group. the XPM group information sync with Xero HQ, in our instance, there are over 350 groups, and the search function for the group, appears is not working.

Practice Manager | Recurring job - See more detail
Recurring job screen in XPM is too narrow. Can't see all of the job name or full dates. Would be good to fill the screen to allow more information to be visible rather than having to click in to each job.
