  1. Enable an advanced setting in Xero to have customised columns Change dependant on client (e.g., GST, Credit, Debit, Date, Reference). With the rollout of new reports its frustrating when generating reports on client's P&L to have to change for every single column.

    Hi Mark, want to make sure we understand your idea here properly. When you say you'd like customised columns per client - Would this be like the ability to set standard columns that will be selected by default to appear on any reports you run in a clients organisation? Or something a little different you're asking here? 

  2. In Xero Tax when we save the completed tax return for the client as PDF for email, is there an option to hide other sensitive information in addition to the TFN, such as date of birth, address and bank details.

  3. I would love to see Hubdoc Convert an ATB Statement. This is a Alberta Canada Bank but it is a very widely used bank by small businesses. This would be useful for any businesses/ accounting firms or bookkeepers in Alberta

  6. Ability to transfer tax return link to other jobs. we have created a tax return in the wrong job or want to transfer the return to another job. Would be great if the hot link can be disconnected and reconnected to a different job.

    Hi community, thanks for your interest on this. While being able to move a Tax Return to another job is something we may look to do later, it's not in the near term plans. For now, we'll continue to collect and monitor your feedback, and share if there's any progress.

  7. Change the headings used in the notes to the accounts in the statutory accounts.

    Trade creditors/trade payables- just use one not show both.

  9. Please can you provide a way of detecting when a contact has been deleted in XPM. It's provided on the client list api as IsDeleted for clients, but not for contacts. An IsDeleted prop on the contacts would be very useful. Unless someone knows another way of getting this info?

  10. We have an abundance of deregistered clients/entities in our client list. We would like the option of archiving these clients, but if they are still linked through the group, then they still show up under the group profile - but maybe in a separate section, so the group profile could list current clients and archived clients.

    Ideally, we want to archive them because they aren't an existing client anymore, however, we would still like them to be visible/searchable with the client data, so we can see their historical entities and for other reasons.

  12. Currently you can only set up one cover page template for tax returns in XPM. We'd like to be able to set up two different cover letters with different branding for each tax return and alternate between the two (i.e. select which cover letter you want for that return) when we are printing the tax return.

  13. Ability to set the client branding theme in XPM to push across to Xero. This comes from the branding theme set at the client level not working as the firms default branding theme currently is applied to all invoices.   16. to run a report that pulls the History of tax returns into it, including:
    1. Staff member who prepared the return, and date prepared.
    2. Staff member who lodged the return, and date lodged
    Currently if we run the report builder, it only can show account manager's name, it doesn't seem to have the option to show lodgment person's name.

  17. When we link XPM to Xero, we have to set up a code for Income. This is set to a default code (200 Sales) however we also use codes to differentiate income between Company Accounts, Personal Tax Returns, VAT work etc. Would it be possible to add something that allows us to select the code per job? Or alternatively to allow adding of tracking categories?

  18. Currently, a SWIFT code for each payee will need to be entered each time a batch payment is created, otherwise, batch won't be sent to Bank. It would be helpful if there is any way for Xero to record the swift code from the previous payment so that when we make a new payment for the same supplier, the bank information will be automatically shown in the respective fields.

  19. I have an international client who has just switched to Xero but their main business is in Switzerland (complicated tax rules). Can Xero provide add an add-on to Swiss Xero users to comply with the tax rules there.

  20. Given the changes in the WFH deductions area, we have been looking at simple ways our accountants can log on their timesheets when they are WFH so that a simple report can be generated at year end to assist with their personal tax returns.

    We have added the custom field to the time entry where they can specify whether they are working off premises, at the office or from home.

    We have no way of making this a mandatory field and it only comes up when accessing the timesheet entry point of Dashboard -> Enter Time -> Daily
