  3. 2 decimal places in Hubdoc is not enough. It must match Xero's 4 decimal places.

    I have had to stop recommending Hubdoc to businesses that use item/inventory functions in Xero. Many businesses buy and sell products to the 4th decimal place. When you are dealing with large numbers 2 decimal places are significant. Users have become frustrated with having to do rounding line items and other fixes just to ensure the correct total price/quantity is captured in Xero.

  4. The ability to be able to search for client code, email address, TFN and mobile number in the global search.
    you are able to search for a phone number but the search doesn't include the contact phone numbers

    Hi Renea, I notice you added your idea here to Practice Manager, can I just confirm - Are you looking to search Client contacts within Practice Manager, or Contacts within an individual organisation? Thanks 

  5. When completing Bank Reconciliations (especially for those customers with 5+ bank accounts) it would be useful to see an indicator of Unreconciled Items in the drop-down list at the top left corner of the screen. This could either be the number of unreconciled items, or simply an asterisk to indicate there are items to be reconciled.

    I often use this drop-down to switch between their most-used bank accounts, but if there was something to indicate which accounts still have unreconciled items, this would be immensely helpful and save a lot of time switching back to the main Bank Accounts screen…

  6. There is the option of adding Groups as a taxable group, however if the option is not selected client members of that group still pull through as related parties when adding a new return. The ability to use multiple Groups would be a great driver for "advisory" automations in 3rd party software if it didn't have that adverse outcome. Enhancement request - adding a tax return the related clients should only pull through members of the taxable group and exclude members of the "advisory" group.

  7. When accessing the Work In Progress from a client screen the column showing the job name is nowhere near wide enough to see the full description. The box in the centre containing all columns could also be made wider to fill the whole screen. See attached screenshot.

  8. Adobe signatures option available to be able to remove the blue line, name and the date from the signature. It is unnecessary on most of the documents and looks odd.

  9. This is to do with Custom Reports and should be little effort for a good result.

    I note that after discussions with Xero the [Tax Return AU] Not Started Returns field is only available in the Client Returns report. It would be great to have [Tax Return AU] Not Started Returns in the Tax Return report area so you could generate a report on which returns have been started, in addition to the current status of the ones that have been started (ie Draft, Complete, Lodged) at the moment we can only see if a tax return has been created…

  10. AU Tax - Printing Return Not Necessary tax returns

    Currently Xero tax can print tax returns by withholding the TFN Numbers which is really good. However, if that same functionality can be added to CURNN- Return Not Necessary would be great.

  12. When a client uploads receipts, bank statements or other items to Hubdoc via the app or sends them by email, it would be nice to be notified at the end of each day if something was added. The accounting program that our office uses emails general email when items are uploaded into our portal. This is to ensure nothing is missed or overlooked.

  13. We noticed last provisional tax letters that we sent out to clients had the date the amounts were approved.

    We usually approve before and e-mail/post letters closer to time.

    Is there a way the date can be changed on the Provisional tax letter to the day its getting e-mailed to client?

  14. In Xero Practice Manager - The Custom fields that can appear on the Client and Job are not common data. Eg. When you update a custom field on the Job the information does not flow through to the Client page where this is also displayed. This would be very helpful for a workflow to update in both places.

  15. When you have multiple companies using Xero and utilise the function to approve bills in Xero for audit tracking purposes you need a way to view the number of bills "Awaiting approval" in all of the companies in one place.

    It is very time consuming to open each company individually in order to confirm that there are bills that need approval.

  17. Ability to become an affiliate if not a BAS agent or tax agent.

    I am a chartered accountant with a finance coaching and Virtual CFO company but I am not a BAS or tax agent. I use Xero, train clients on Xero and recommend Xero to all of my clients and would recommend there was an affiliate scheme without having to be a BAS or tax agent.

    Hi Lucy, to make sure I understand your idea here. When you say an affiliate would that be an affiliate to make use of AU Tax as a product or more broadly the Partner Program that Xero has for Practice users ? 

  18. The mandatory notes section on FRS 105 needs upgrading, so that the notes on things like movement in directors loans, and operating lease commitments, can be completed by merely filling in numbers into a template matrix. At the moment, no tabular layout is possible.

  19. Ability to hide more sensitive data from staff.

    I have an employee who works overseas. Currently I think we can only hide the TFN details but it would be good to also be able to hide date of birth, address and now Director ID details.

    They do not need to see all of the sensitive data when preparing tax returns so it would be good to have some options of what data we can hide from employees.

  20. New Job Manager Budget % - base on $ not time.
    Please give us the option to set the budget % based on the fee not time.

    As our jobs are created though the Ignition integration, our fee budget $ is prefilled. We don't set the time budget as this would be a very manual process.
