Tax returns - Default print order layout for all return forms
Thank you for introducing this for individual tax returns, but can you also create for all other form types?

Hubdoc - Sort documents by file name
HUBDOC Sorting Alphabetical Feature needed PLEASE. Wishing to request an extra sort option under the "Sort by" button above the "Processing", "Review", "Failed", "Archived" tabs. Currently we have "Upload Date", "Bill Date", "Due Date" & "Amount" options. We create a statements folder for each month and when we're trying to check off the statements with whats in Xero report that is sorted by alphabetical order it would be practical. XPM - Flag clients
Is there a way to flag a client, ie Warning/Ban or make them Inactive but keep their history in Xero?
We have a system that have a number of clients with similar/identical names and we would like flag a client for particular reason, ie account terms etc or ban etc.

Add the ability to change the order in which jobs appear on an invoice when preparing an invoice with multiple jobs.

XPM - Add column for Email to Client list
Can we please customise client page on XPM to add EMAIL.. We currently see the Client NAME, PH NUMBER, and ADDRESS. Can we please add EMAIL to the page?
It would cut out alot time opening each page if we had some flexibility to simply add the email address column on the first page.10 votes -

Is there a way for the creation of Automatic Activity Statement Jobs to have the Partner and Manager for the entity pre-filled on generation?

Xero HQ | Clients - Export list by group
There is no option to export a group of clients appearing on the screen. We have different managers managing different groups of xero clients and they need to see this rather than export the whole client list and having to sort on excel

Xero Files: File upload notifications for administrators
When a client uploads or emails a file to the Xero files area of their own subscription, it would be helpful if we, as their accountants, could receive a notification to let us know there is a file waiting for us.
This should be an optional setting, perhaps even with limits (eg notify me for every 5 files uploaded).10 votes -

Xero Practice Manager: Report on which staff can access client tax returns.
Xero Practice Manager - Tax
I want to be able to run two reports to see which staff have tax access to which clients and to see to which clients a staff member has tax access. This is very important for security purposes and additionally to help us meet our obligations as tax agents.

XPM group view - Main email
Hi Support,
When you view a group in XPM it shows you the recipients, the phone and address fields, it would be amazing if the mail email address was also displayed.

Xero Sign | Email notification of who has signed in the document pack
Xero Sign - It would be great if there was an indicator to let us know that one or more clients within the one document pack have signed the documents. (if it is sent to multiple people) We only get notified once everyone signed.

Just to note for anyone coming across the idea - within the document pack details you can view how many people have signed the document, including who signed. See our example of what this looks like 🙂

Practice Manager - Set which fields are mandatory on client profile
It would be great to be able to customise if the fields are mandatory or not for new client setups. This would allow us to ensure that the fields we need setup are being setup by the admin team.

Documents Pack - When you have multiple people signing a document, it can be specified the order of the people signing the documents.
10 votesHi everyone, while this is something our team began looking into, unfortunately this has been put down with other more immediate work taking priority.
Hopefully they will be able to pick this back up down the track, but we'll move back to Submitted for now and continue tracking the interest here. I'll let you know if there are any more changes.

XPM - Ability to schedule tasks
An easier way to schedule tasks. A lot of my clients create annual jobs with lots of tasks and want to be able to schedule tasks in the same way you can allocate staff. You hit a button and schedule all the tasks in a list with assignable start and due dates. I have more than 40 clients that I am doing implementation and training and XPM support for, and all of them has asked me for an easier way to do task scheduling.

Hubdoc - Create New Contact option from Hubdoc
When adding invoices through HubDoc when there is a new contact that needs to be added, it would be great if the option to create a new contact (supplier or customer) was available in HubDoc, rather than having to start typing in the contact filed & then having to wait for HubDoc/Xero to catch up.

Xero Tax (NZ & AU) - Print multiple returns at once
Being about to print multiple Tax Returns by selecting the box in Returns and having a print options, it would be amazing if you could also select to redact Tax file numbers or choose to print them.
At the moment I need to print 17 today, I have to go into each individual client and select the tax return, select to print etc. It would save a lot of time being able to print multiples10 votes -
Xero Workpapers - Order of Workpaper packs should be most recent FY first
When looking at a list of Workpaper Packs (especially archived packs), the order should be most recent first, not oldest first.

Practice Manager - Option to exclude 'completed' from job list
Removal of 'completed' jobs from the job list when preparing an invoice in XPM.
Sometimes we invoice a parent client with multiple entities jobs appearing and this can be very hard to navigate when looking for current jobs to invoice - even if the status is marked to be invoiced. It would be more efficient if completed jobs just didn't appear in the list.

XPM - Monthly Productivity Pie Chart
Currently the productivity pie chart on the home page only reports on a weekly basis. It would be great if the home page can add a 2nd productivity pie chart which is set to report on a monthly basis. Most accounting firms/staff have monthly productivity targets, so this is why it would be a wonderful way to track MTD productivity results instead of only weekly.
