  1. Widget for planned supplier bill payments - either a summary of total by planned date, or detailed view of the next planned date payments by supplier (e.g. flexes to show planned payments in current week). Helpful for review prior to batch payment runs.

  2. ​Love the look and ability to customise widgets for clients. It would be great if we, as Advisors, can specify then the client can change.

    Displaying the client logo in the top left is great but way too small to be effective

    Great to hear you're diving into the new experience, Michele. Thanks for taking your time to share changes that you could feel could add benefit.

    We'll get a feel for the interest from other beta users from your idea here and I'll make sure to share if our product teams make any plans around this.

  3. Where there are headings in the columns of the widget, being able to SORT by that heading..

    For eg, "expenses to review" can be sorted by any of the columns: "submitted by", "expenses to review" or "Amount".

    This would be helpful also in CoA watchlist, Recent Invoice payments or any other unseen widgets which have a list with column headings.

    It's interesting to hear the differences in views that would be most impactful for our customers. We appreciate you taking your time to feedback on the new experience.

  4. How do I remove the ads from the Homepage? If I wanted extra widgets I would go looking.

    If the product is missing features then Xero should be implementing them as part of the base package if I am paying a subscription.

  5. An option to get rid of the message across the top of the Home page telling us that we can switch back to the old Homepage for a short time. All it does is take up valuable realestate.

  6. Why don't I have the same Time period options in the 'Net Profit and Loss' widget as I do on the actual report page?
    I want to be able to see CURRENT month, quarter, etc on my home page and not just previous.
    Inconvenient to have to click on the report and then change the time period manually every time I want to see how the month is tracking instead of just having the option directly on the homepage.

    This isn't somethign we have plans for right now, but will start to gather interest in from the community here.

  7. I like the new look. Can the Business overview heading be removed and the customise button be moved up to where it is in the old homepage, next to last login? Screen real estate is very precious, especially when the client has a lot of bank accounts/credit cards that fall off the bottom of the screen and can get easily missed.

    Appreciate the extra details shared by everyone here.

    We'll continue to get a track of the interest in a specific widget for accessing reports from the Homepage and share if there are any developments planned around this.

    Right now, just to highlight what is possible - You can favourite a report from the Reports centre including a custom report you've set up to make this accessible from the Reporting drop down menu in the navigation.

  9. A widget or chatbox where you can leave comments for accountant or business owner?

    Ability to strikeoff and clear the comments/tasks. Ability to add attachments like screenshots or even videos will be a great feature for this widget.

    This widget can sit on dashboard.

  10. Can we be allowed to change the time selection on the cash in and out view (eg to 12/13 or even 18 months?) seems to be stuck on 6 months for me. I think to see trends you really need to see at least a year

    You're right that the current 'Total Cash In and Out' widget is fixed to a 6-month view.


    While you can see longer periods by running a Cash Summary report, I understand that having that 12 or 18-month trend visible immediately on your dashboard would be much more powerful for spotting seasonal patterns.


    I’ve classified this as 'Gaining Support' to see how many others would like more flexibility with this widget's timeframe

  11. It would be great to be able to place the widgets wherever you want (like before). I would prefer to have all my bank accounts in a column, as opposed to having to have them horizontal

    Hi everyone, it's easy to see why you’d want more flexibility on the dashboard. When you log in, you want the most important info right there—without having to scroll past everything else.

    For now, Edit dashboard lets you reorder widgets and hide the ones you don’t use often.

    However, we understand that greater layout flexibility could take dashboard customisation to another level, making it feel genuinely personalised to how you prefer to work.

    We’ve moved this to Gaining Support to see how many others are looking for more control over dashboard layout.

  12. Next Payroll Wiget for Homepage
    When the new homepage was launched, I was hoping for a widget that had the link to the next scheduled payroll, the draft amount, the due date, leave to approve, timesheets to approve, last payroll (perhaps), super payments, etc. Layout could be like the 'Bills to pay' widget without the chart. Given that in Australia, SGC will need to be paid each payroll, that draft amount could also be added in the widget, linking to the Super payments module.

  14. We have various users from accounts administrator to operations managers and the new home screen will automatically show them extra information they don't necessarily need, as in, the operations managers should ideally have the bills and invoices front and centre and not really each other's credit cards. Also, the profit and loss widget is extremely annoying being there as our management is presented with monthly accrual basis accounts and use a custom P+L that require a large number of journals done so the profit and loss widget is wrong until the journals get done. At the moment, the only way…

    Hi Debbie, thanks for sharing this idea! Giving a Subscriber control over the team’s homepage layout would be really useful—helping everyone focus on the right tasks while keeping sensitive information private.

    Right now, each user customises their own dashboard, so it can be tricky for admins to know exactly what’s visible. For now, User Roles can limit access to certain data, or you can share a simple SOP with a screenshot of your preferred layout for staff to match.

    I’ve moved this to Gaining Support so we can see how many in the community would find this helpful. Your feedback really helps guide what we look at next.

  15. I would like to customise the columns that appear in the chart of accounts watchlist. I would like have yesterday's closing balance, last month's closing balance, and the change.

    I use the watchlist to monitor clearing accounts, such as daily takings clearing accounts, and being able to spot when a balance has gone awry would be very helpful not only for me but for our team who reconcile these clearing accounts.

    Would be even better if we could add more than one instance of the watchlist then we could have one for clearing accounts with the columns described above, and…

    Really good to get this sort of detail about aspects of the homepage that you feel could be condensed or removed to help with your experience of the homepage.   17. Viewing the page could be easily made simpler by adding a border or shadow to the widgets to help visually separate the bank accounts and etc.

  18. Permanently give the option to stay on the old set-up homepge.
    New one is horrendous! Can't select multiple invoices? And if I can then its impossible to workout how.

  19. At a glance, a running total of VAT and Corporation tax due. As a small business, this would be very helpful for planning. Crunch Accounting had this on their homepage and it is the only thing i miss about their very clunky system!

  20. Add a widget for tracking categories with current and prior month expenses against each or even the top 5 of each category.

    make the hope page printable to pdf and also for the user to be able to present it to a client or board.
