Filter out expense claims from Bills Awaiting Payment
I input my own money occasionally into the business & don't require paying back, so the expense claim is left "open" & shows up on Bills awaiting payment - thus confusing the amount owing to Bills I have outstanding.

Homepage - Reduce Motion for accessibility
Looking at the new interface at https://www.xero-reimagined-nav-hp.com/ the widgets fly in from the side, and the charts all animate from zero to their full value. I have an accessibility requirement to have reduced motion, and have selected this option on my computer which the new Xero website is ignoring. Websites can use this selection as shown in https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/CSS/@media/prefers-reduced-motion and https://www.w3.org/WAI/WCAG22/Techniques/css/C39. Can you please implement the best practice for accessibility, and ensure all users can comfortably use your updated website by removing unnecessary animation when requested with the reduce motion option? Ability to strikeoff and clear the comments/tasks. Ability to add attachments like screenshots or even videos will be a great feature for this widget.

Homepage - Widget for month end review
I love the new homepage and how I can customize to make it less busy. I also love the Task widget. It would be great if there was a month end review widget showing a list of bank and credit card accounts with the last reconciliation date.

Homepage - Widget for accessing custom reports
Have a widget for custom reports.
Be able to access your customised reports from the home screen or at least from a button on the drop-down menu.

We'll continue to get a track of the interest in a specific widget for accessing reports from the Homepage and share if there are any developments planned around this.
Right now, just to highlight what is possible - You can favourite a report from the Reports centre including a custom report you've set up to make this accessible from the Reporting drop down menu in the navigation.

Add a widget for tracking categories with current and prior month expenses against each or even the top 5 of each category.
make the hope page printable to pdf and also for the user to be able to present it to a client or board.

Homepage - Ability to customize
It would be great for those that have various type of color blindness to be able to change the color, say the user has an issue with the color red or green, being able to change the color would be beneficial.

It would be good to clarify here - when you say you'd like to search Unreconciled transactions, would you be wanting to do this across all banks at once, or within each bank widget?
We don't have any plans around this right now, but are continuing to track the interest here.

Homepage - Ability to sort by columns within a widget
Where there are headings in the columns of the widget, being able to SORT by that heading..
For eg, "expenses to review" can be sorted by any of the columns: "submitted by", "expenses to review" or "Amount".
This would be helpful also in CoA watchlist, Recent Invoice payments or any other unseen widgets which have a list with column headings.

Homepage seems overly cluttered. Would be great to be able to resize widget tiles & have the ability to change the graph styles
485 votesHi everyone, we thoroughly appreciate the feedback we've been receiving about the sizing of widgets and desire for more flexibility with these.
Our product teams are currently working on updates to allow resizing of more of the widgets on the Homepage.
There are considerations that weigh into what's possible' like what information sits within each widget.
The resizing will work in the same way as what has been provided with the Cash in and out, and Chart of accounts watch list widget.

Widget for planned supplier bill payments - either a summary of total by planned date, or detailed view of the next planned date payments by supplier (e.g. flexes to show planned payments in current week). Helpful for review prior to batch payment runs.

Homepage | Invoice payments widget - Summary of key outstanding invoices
Unpaid invoices summary or ability to have a customer 'watchlist' on the homepage.
Recent invoice payments is useful, but I care less about the detail of invoices that have already been paid - that money is in my account. I want to know the detail of what remains unpaid so I can follow up with those customers. It would be great to have a watchlist of customers, their total overdue balance, & average payment days, to be able to monitor on the dashboard. Being closely engaged and feeding back with our product teams I can confirm your feedback's been taken onboard, however at this time there are no plans for developing a widget of this nature.

Homepage | Chart of Accounts watchlist - customise date selection
I would like to customise the columns that appear in the chart of accounts watchlist. I would like have yesterday's closing balance, last month's closing balance, and the change.
I use the watchlist to monitor clearing accounts, such as daily takings clearing accounts, and being able to spot when a balance has gone awry would be very helpful not only for me but for our team who reconcile these clearing accounts.
Would be even better if we could add more than one instance of the watchlist then we could have one for clearing accounts with the columns described above, and…

Homepage - Remove business overview and shift customise button
I like the new look. Can the Business overview heading be removed and the customise button be moved up to where it is in the old homepage, next to last login? Screen real estate is very precious, especially when the client has a lot of bank accounts/credit cards that fall off the bottom of the screen and can get easily missed.

Homepage - Set up multiple views (Basic, Intermediate and Advanced)
Have a few options so a basic user can cut down on the noise and just have bank accounts and the profit graph, for a new user this would be overwelming.
403 votesHi everyone, we appreciate the attention this idea has been getting. It's really good to hear how we can continue to improve the Homepage for our differing customers needs. We understand not all the widgets maybe useful to every user, and the 'Edit homepage' button will let you add or remove widgets to reduce what you see on the Homepage.
Taking on board feedback we're looking at the sizing of widgets and you'll find the 'Chart of Accounts' and 'Cash in and out' widgets are now smaller by default with an option to 'Make larger' - You can follow further updates for this on the idea here.
We have plans to dig deeper into possible 'view' options (like the different levels of views being asked here) in the new year and I'll share further updates here when this gets picked up. 🙂

Home page - Add Tasks and reminders to take action on
Tasks. We would love to be able to manually add a task or reminder so that the next time we logged into a clients Xero we can see the reminder to check or do something.

Homepage - Search for bank accounts widgets
To have the search function look up bank accounts by name or number. As we have approx 80 bank accounts in one Xero dashboard scrolling to find the correct one is very time consuming, so a search function would be very handy.
