Dashboard - Weekly hours remaining widget
A way to update how many hours left per week are shown on the dashboard would be good. I know a lot more people work flexibly, and this way they could see how many hours below the total required they are (e.g. 38 hours per week). Just makes it easier when you're managing time during the week

I’ve had a look through your suggestion, and I can definitely see how a "hours remaining" tracker would be a huge help for those of us balancing flexible schedules.
I’ve assessed your post against our community criteria and have moved it to Gaining Support. This means other members can now vote on it and share their own feedback, which helps our product teams understand the demand for this feature.

In the meantime, while we don't have a live tracker on the main dashboard, you might find the Xero Me mobile app or the Projects tab useful for keeping a closer eye on your logged time during the week.

Jobs not opening in a new tab!
When I am in a client file and go into the jobs to update one of my tasks, its very frustrating that it opens the job in a new tab! I end up with too many unnecessary tabs open just to navigate from one screen to another!

XPH | Customisable homepage graph/table colours
Customisable graph/table colours would be excellent, even if it were just 2 or 3 preset options. The blue/red default is a bit harsh.

Tax Manager - Sort by Group
The Tax Manager would be improved if it could be sorted by Group, or at least allow us to add the Group column. This would enable a quick reference for one client with multiple entities.

XPM - Increase spacing or relocate the "Discard" button in Timesheets to prevent accidental clicks
When you save a timesheet entry as draft, then next option of discard or save is very close together so if you don't move your cursor to the right to click on save you may inadvertently discard the timesheet entry. I think the discard option needs to be moved somewhere else.
2 votesHi everyone — thanks for flagging this! It’s clear the “Discard” button’s current spot is causing a few accidental clicks, especially after you’ve just entered your time. Losing your work like that is frustrating, and we get how it turns a quick task into extra effort.

XPM - Ability to select existing clients as additional contacts
Has the ability to attach clients in the additional contact field in XPM been removed. I am no longer able to select an existing client to add to the additional contact on another clients record in XPM. If so why, this was great.
2 votesHey Christopher — thanks for suggesting this! Making it easier to add additional contacts to client records in XPH would be a really handy improvement and could save a lot of time.
Right now, it’s done manually, but a smoother approach would make managing client info quicker and simpler.
I’ve moved this idea to Gaining Support so we can see how many in the community would find it useful.

Xero Partner Hub | Jobs - Change timer icon
The timer icon looks almost just like a circle, the hour hand is tiny, it's barely distinguishable from the magnifying glass next to it, so it's hard to know what it means. How about using a picture of a stopwatch or copy the icon used by the iphone.

Xero Tax NZ - Company Annual Returns Date
The company annual returns field is showing December and January as options to select. Annual returns are only filed with the companies office from February to November so December and January should not appear in this list.

XPH - Ability to minimise Timesheet Entry from any page
The Timesheet Entry pop up on the right side of the page, Cannot be minimised outside of the Home page screen. So if you toggle to a client or to correct a job and happen to have not closed it, you can't then close it without returning to the main home screen. Despite the Cross in the corner, this appears not to work.

Recent Organisations - ability to view recent orgs and search has gone in XPM
The beta has "Recent Organisations" in the dropdown under the practice name, but nothing is coming up and there is no ability to search.
Please can we have this reinstated - I don't want to have to go to the clients screen or Xero HQ to get to a client's Xero file every time I open up XPM

Practice Manager - Ability to navigate prior weeks on the Time Summary graph
We love the graphical representation of the weekly timesheet. However, we would love to be able to navigate to prior weeks to also view them as a graph

Since there’s currently no way to toggle date ranges directly within that dashboard widget, I’ve classified this as Gaining Support to see how much interest it gathers from the rest of the community.

Job Status Listing in New XPM
The old home page in XPM used to show all my jobs grouped by job status and in the processing order. For example "Not In" then "Drafting" then "Resolving Queries" then "In Review" then "Finalising".
Now I have to click onto a another page to see all my jobs (not so bad as just one click). BUT if I try to sort by status it sorts on alphabetical order instead of stage in the process. For example "Drafting" then "Finalising" then "In Review" then "Not In" then "Resolving Queries". XPH | Homepage - Ability to control widget access for other practice users
Customise widgets at a master level; for example graduates do not need to see lodgement tracking and status, we should be able to remove these widgets at a master level without having to edit from within each staff members login.

Could the Practice Manager please be improved where it is not dependent on activity time as it logs out if there's been no activity after an hour. Previously Practice Manager did not log out, only HQ did and still does.

Features to suspend Xero Suscription for payment delay for several customers
Just like many other partners, we pay subscriptions on behalf of our customers. It will be very usefull that Xero permit suspends a client's license when they have not paid.
Example, in many times we need to pay all licenses to prevent Xero suspend all licenses, so in that case Xero suspend licences for some customer, even those customers that paid on time. Otherwise, Partner has obligation to pay on time all licenses, so is very complicated suspend license for a few customers, that not pay on time.
