  1. Customise widgets at a master level; for example graduates do not need to see lodgement tracking and status, we should be able to remove these widgets at a master level without having to edit from within each staff members login.

    Thanks for your feedback, Amy. Appreciate why you may want to be able to better control the widgets other staff in your practice may see on the Xero Partner Hub Homepage.

    We'll start to get a better understanding of the interest from practices in this control here and I'll let you know if there are any updates.

  2. In the middle of the old XPM home page we had a clear visual of a two week calendar showing assigned jobs and upcoming milestones.

    This was very useful and was good quick visual reminder to action any of days jobs or milestones as well as any forth coming jobs and milestones.

    Although there is an assigned jobs summary on the homepage of the new XPM there is no milestone reminder visual and as a practice which uses job milestones heavily it is very much missed.

    Can it be reinstated please, Im sure there is room on the new home…

    Hi Bruce, thanks for bringing this idea to the community. It’s helpful to hear that having a dedicated revenue widget on the practice dashboard would make it easier to keep an eye on performance. Being able to quickly view Monthly, Quarterly, or Year-to-Date figures at a glance sounds like a valuable addition for tracking progress.

    For now, you can access this information by heading to the Reports section and running a Profit report or Client Revenue report.

    Thanks for sharing this suggestion! We understand that when switching between your practice dashboard and a client’s file, it can sometimes be hard to tell where you are. A clearer design or color-coding would make it easier to see which view you’re in and help reduce mistakes.

    We know a stronger visual distinction would make navigating Xero Practice Manager more intuitive. We’ve moved this idea to Gaining Support so we can track interest and share with our product teams.

    This isn't something we have immediate plans of but we'll track interest and let you know if there are any updates, here.

  6. when reconciling several bills against a single payment, the only option on the Description is 'Payment: Multiple Items' with blank Reference, instead of 'Payment: name of Payee' with Reference the invoice number. I need to be able to add the name of the Payee for clarity in the record, either in the Description or in the Reference area.

    Thanks for bringing this suggestion forward! We understand that when matching a single bulk payment to multiple bills, not being able to control the final description or reference on the transaction can make your bank statement and audit trail feel messy. Being able to customize this text instead of having Xero default to a supplier name or “Multiple Items” would make reconciliation much clearer and easier to track.

  7. Please return the facility that was in XPM whereby an archived TR or AS still showed in the to which it is attached. It makes it incredibly difficult now to get an overall view of the completed AS during the year. Having archived TR or AS disappearing from the job is incredibly inconvenient.

    Hi Sean, thanks for the suggestion! We understand that when you’re reviewing a job’s history, not having a complete view of all related tax returns and activity statements in one place can add extra steps to your workflow.

    At the moment, you can view this information by navigating to the Tax menu and filtering for archived returns. We can see how having a full audit trail of returns and statements directly within the job would make things more efficient.

  8. Email client button has been hidden away in the three dots at top right. I use this everyday and it's so annoying that it's not visible anymore

    Thanks for raising this, Andrea — and for clearly outlining how the current placement of the “Email to Client” button is affecting your workflow.

    It sounds like those extra clicks at the final step of a return can really slow things down.

  9. Job Notifications - new notifications do not open up until you open an existing job (so we do not know that they are even there until you open the job)..Suggest Job Notifications should open when entering Job Manager (i.e. One level up).

    Hi Sue, thanks for bringing this idea to our attention! A staff member filter sounds like it could be a real time-saver for managing Tasks in XPH. Being able to see everything assigned to one team member instantly would make it much easier to balance tasks and ensure nothing slips through the cracks.

    We appreciate you taking the time to suggest how favouriting jobs in XPM could help streamline your workflow, especially for frequently accessed items like Admin jobs.

    We've moved this idea to Gaining Support, which means our Community team has reviewed it and it's now open for the community to show their support through votes and comments. This helps us understand how many users could benefit from this type of functionality and informs future product decisions.

  13. Xero Practice Manager currently allows bulk job state changes only through the Job Manager interface or via API integrations. However, there is no native feature to bulk upload a CSV file to update job states for existing jobs. This limitation creates inefficiencies for practices managing large volumes of jobs, especially when correcting errors or applying workflow changes across hundreds of jobs.

    Proposed Solution:
    Introduce a Bulk CSV Upload for Job Updates feature in XPM that:

    Matches existing jobs using Job Number as a unique identifier.
    Allows updating specific fields such as:

    Job State
    Priority
    Assigned Staff

    Provides a preview screen…

  14. Freezing the main blue bar so it stays at the top of the page when you scroll down, like the navigation bar within client profiles, would help navigation.
