  1. I would like to be able to update my company address in Alderney. I currently have an Alderney address in Xero but I am unable to update it as Xero is not currently supporting.

  2. We need to upload an Approval Matrix/Approval hierarchy with a scope depending on "Location" and "Total amount" with 2 levels of approvers for "Expense claims" (EC) & "Purchase Orders" (PO).
    With that, we are looking for automation on sending the EC & PO automatically by the system to the correspondent Approver depending on the scope through email.

    Hi team, we appreciate wanting more flexibility in expense permissions and that for some businesses a multi-level approval process is necessary.

    Though we are continuing to develop Xero expenses to encompass more tools and features our customers are after, we want to be upfront that we don’t have any plans to change expense permissions on our current roadmap.

    We will continue to assess your feedback and consider ideas like this as our plans evolve. If there is any change we will share an update.

  3. Please add the ability to dismiss/hide the setup guide without the need to have clicked through and used all options in the guide. Some do not apply to my organization and so there is no way to get the blue setup guide button to disappear and it gets in the way of other things on the screen.

  4. You can upload your logo and it appears on your invoices. Great. But here is an easy win, replace the initials on the Menu drop down with the company logo too? It would just be a nice touch.

  5. We need to give specific users access to specific sales.
    We have made our employee have draft only sales access, but now we cant collaborate invoices and quotes there should be an option to give users access to specific invoices & quotes, not the total sales in and out

  7. you should be able to confirm your account with a secondary email. I got locked out of my primary email, and Xero thought my normal log in was suspicious. I had not way to confirm my account. I have a secondary email. What is the point of the secondary email if there is no way to use it to confirm my account? Or use my phone for a text confirmation.

  8. Ability to have separate ‘Reply-to’ email addresses within the same Xero organisation.

    Purpose: Users can easily change the email address that they’d like to use when sending email from Xero, rather than having to go through settings to change it.

    Hi everyone, though there isn't any progress to share on this idea we do want to provide and update for you all and thank you for engaging with us about this here.

    We understand the desire and needs for being able to change or set a separate reply to email address when sending from your Xero organisation.

    We're continuing to make improvements to sending of invoices in Xero however at this point our roadmaps does not extend to the email settings specifically.

    This continues to be an area we're interested in diving deeper into in the long term and we'll be sure to share as soon as there's movement.

    For the time being the only way to change the Reply-to email is to update this on the email settings screen prior to sending your transaction and change it back post sending. Thanks

  9. On the dashboard, be able to reorder the accounts in the watchlist. At the moment they are shown by default in alphabetical order and can't be reordered.

    Hi team, we wanted to share an update as this will be possible within the new Xero Homepage!

    You'll find with the new Chart of accounts watchlist widget you'll be able to reorder by any column in the watchlist 😊

    You can currently try out the new Homepage in the demo company. I'll be back to confirm when this is live to all users. Thanks!

  10. Allow tracking options to be entered against all account codes for conversion balances. For existing businesses that use tracking and wish to migrate to Xero with opening balances, this is an important feature.

    Hey everyone, we know it can be tricky when you're managing lots of client accounts and need a way to easily tell them apart in Xero.

    Thanks for your feedback on how a visual cue, like being able to set different colours for each organisation, would help cut down on confusion and those accidental data entries.

    We've seen some of you have found workarounds, like using Chrome extensions or third-party Google add-ons for customisation. It's great to see the community finding creative ways to tackle this in the interim.

    Right now, adding this feature isn't in our immediate plans. This is something we'll continue to keep an eye on the support for and may reconsider in future planning. I'll share if there are any updates around this here.

  13. It would be great if there was some flag/notification visible on the Dashboard, to inform clients that you have raised a Discussion point on a transaction, that they need to address.

  14. It would be great if it were to be possible to apply accounting periods Period 1 , Period 2 etc even if these fall into the calendar months or fall into 4/4/5 week pattern . It would make looking at transaction reports in a pivot far easier , it would avoid having to save data , fix it with additional columns and then review constantly . This would be a game changer . All companies work to months calendar or something else yet Xero doesn't have this functionality which is crucial to analysing data and preparing month end .

    Also to better understand the idea would this be on a client basis or across all clients that are managed by a practice? 

  16. We have bureau licences with read only access for clients - however when the bank feed drops they are unable to refresh without upgrading. As they have no other involvement it does not make sense for them to have upgraded access - can we allow them to do this on a slightly improved access level please?

  17. If a staff member has Manager User access to a client file this doesn’t allow them to add users to a file with Payroll Admin unless they have Payroll Admin permissions.
    It would be good if people are allowed to MANAGE the access without necessarily having themselves.
    Can this idea please get implemented as it will avoid adding administrators with Payroll Admin permissions to our large client list when it isn’t required.

  18. Re: Handling of Mutly-currency/translating foreign currency amounts into the functional currency

    Multy currency is currently not fully supported in xero.

    A foreign currency transaction should be recorded initially at the rate of exchange at the date of the transaction and then, at each subsequent balance sheet date, foreign currency monetary amounts should be reported using the closing rate.

    This is true in xero only for Bank accounts, accounts receivables and payables set in foreign currency but not for other account.
    As a result users are required to input periodical manual adjustments at each balance sheet date.

  19. It would be good to have the ability to add a customer watchlist to the dashboard so that businesses can see when customers have overdue invoices or reached their credit limits so credit credit control can be improved. I personally don't like the email reminders as that doesn't work for our business model so I feel like a watchlist on the dashboard would be good.

  20. Can the items per page be made an updateable default on all tabs? i.e. remember my setting until I change it again. So, on the contacts page I'd like to select 200 per page and have Xero remember that preference until I change it again.
