  1. XPM does not cater for titles for non-binary individuals. We have an individual who is non-binary. Their title is MX. This is currently not an option that is available in the Title drop down menu. Can this be added by Xero please?

  3. It would be great if we could report on more fields in XPM - in this instance, who does an invoice in XPM. There is a history section in the invoice, but there is no way to add this data to a report. E.g. I am using a 'job report' that includes the 'Date Last Invoiced', and it would be great if we could also show 'who created the invoice' (and/or approved and exported). We have tried adding a custom field on the job to allocate the staff member, but as this is manual, it would be a lot easier…

  5. Is it possible to have the starred clients as feature in reports? If we export a client list, we can't see which clients are the 'starred' (main contact for the group in our case). It would be super handy when trying to get a list of our main contacts and easily remove the clients that aren't starred.

    Hi everyone, we have a new Tax Manager that's currently in beta and with a small group of users. As part of Tax Manager there's 'Ready to start' which lists annual income tax returns from the most recently completed tax year, generated using your practice’s client list and data downloaded directly from the ATO.

  7. Currently there are several system notifications in Xero Workpapers however there is not one for when the partner has approved the workpaper pack. This should then send a notification back to the preparer/manager to let them know the job is right to be finalised.

  8. Instead of having to add users in three places (HQ, Workpapers & Tax), have the ability to add them once and this then flow through to the additional tools in use at the practice

  9. Currently notes need to be updated manually on the financial statements (as far as I am aware). New accounts need to be added to the respective notes otherwise the figure in the notes will not match the figures in the financial statements.
    I feel that this is inviting error as inevitably there will be times where this process is overlooked.

    it would significantly simplify the process if Xero recognises where a note is connected to a financial statement line item, and then automatically fills in the notes with the same accounts grouped in the financials.

  10. Day time contact number in individual tax return.

    Individual tax return cover page has two options
    Mobile number and day time contact number
    day time contact number is by default picked up from practice management setting which is practitioner number.
    there is no a way to change this day time number to client contact number automatically.

  11. Ability to remove unnecessary fields when setting up a client in XPM or ability to hide the blank fields after the setup so that they don't show up in the Client Details Tab. The purpose is to see the fields with details on them only and to make them look neat and tidy. Please see attached.

  12. It would be good to have more flexible saluations in Ask covering emails, particularly when asking for information for personal tax.Being able to use the given name for someone, for example, (as per most emails that peope send) would be a good start.

We would like Xero to allow an option for certain staff members to be restricted from viewing all tax returns by default - except for specific returns on an individual basis (i.e. the returns they are working on). Firms are now using offshore providers to assist with some tax preparation and it would be best if offshore users were provided with access to only those clients/returns they are working on, rather than the entire tax database. Is this something that might be achievable in the short term?

  14. Can job custom fields please be added to recurring jobs? We have set up fields for required information, but becomes pointless if they can't be added to recurring jobs as well. Will also save staff a bunch of time if they can add the info when setting up the recurring job, rather than looking for the information at a later time.

  18. When doing a CTR for a client that has an ARBN. There is no ARBN field to enter this detail for our client.
    Can you please create a ARBN field and for this to pull from the clients details onto the CTR - as per the attached screenshot of the CTR

  19. We want to be able to report on any clients with outstanding balances at any point in time, and be able to action it before the ATO start calling us or the client to chase the debt.
    There is already a report on the ATO Portal – See attached screen shot. The report contains any AS’s that are overdue and also shows any clients debt/credit they may have on the ICA.
    We also want to be able to safely ignore any and all statements of account that the ATO spam us with because often, they issue a statement of account…

  20. To make unaudited financial statements for Community Benefit Society Companies. Although Ltd, it has a unique company registration number, the accounts are submitted via the mutual register. The reporting format is slightly different. It includes, Management Committee Report, Independent Accountant Report and Notes to Financial Statements.
