    There is a report in XPM, Client Revenue Report, this is great for end of year reporting by client. Unfortunately there is no opportunity to select a comparative. Can we please have the ability to run this report in the same manner as the Income by Contact report in Xero Blue. Thanks.

  3. It would be great to have an option to prepare a CT600 only: We prepare a number of accounts for friendly societies so don't file accounts for them, but we do need to file CT600s for them.

  4. Xero currently defaults to print/show TFNs on 2017 or older returns (eg Show TFN ticked). However it defaults to NOT print/show on 2018 - 2023 returns. We have been told this is something we cannot change in our settings, it would be a much safer option if we were able to control this setting, or at least have it all operating the same way.

  5. Is it possible to have a "heads up" on what changes are being planned.
    For example, the procedure for client deletions has just been changed so that a client with IRD Number/Tax Return cannot be deleted, with no notification to us as users that the change was being contemplated, let alone actually happened.
    This then leaves us asking for the change to be undone.
    If been advised beforehand, could have suggested options which be suitable to all parties and mean that reprogramming is not required.

  6. One should be able to create tax returns for Companies that switched their Financials years to calendar year, to avoid late lodgements. For Example, for the companies whose financial year is 1 Jan,2022 to 31 Dec,2022, need to wait till Jun 2023 to file their tax returns

  7. Ability to Delete a Client from Xero Practice Manager if they have an IRD Number and/or Tax Returns.
    Have found that XPM has been updated so can no longer delete a Client if they have either and IRD Number or Tax Returns (including Archived Tax Returns). Client has to be Archived instead. Wanting to delete especially in cases such as the Client being deceased, rather than having to Archive (especially as Archived Clients can still appear in reports).

Would be great for team members to be able to enter timesheet credits for flexitime hours over their standard daily hours, without having to enable the Financial privileges option in Staff settings (as this then provides visibility to all timesheets, ability to lock/unlock timesheets, ability to enter time for other team members, along with various practice financial report features etc).

  10. Be able to see the email body of the document pack that was sent or alternatively a copy of the document pack sent to the staff member who sent it to the client so that there is a record of what the email body contained.

  12. In Xero Tax when we save the completed tax return for the client as PDF for email, is there an option to hide other sensitive information in addition to the TFN, such as date of birth, address and bank details.

  13. Ability to transfer tax return link to other jobs. we have created a tax return in the wrong job or want to transfer the return to another job. Would be great if the hot link can be disconnected and reconnected to a different job.

    Hi community, thanks for your interest on this. While being able to move a Tax Return to another job is something we may look to do later, it's not in the near term plans. For now, we'll continue to collect and monitor your feedback, and share if there's any progress.

  14. Change the headings used in the notes to the accounts in the statutory accounts.

    Trade creditors/trade payables- just use one not show both.

  16. Please can you provide a way of detecting when a contact has been deleted in XPM. It's provided on the client list api as IsDeleted for clients, but not for contacts. An IsDeleted prop on the contacts would be very useful. Unless someone knows another way of getting this info?

  17. We have an abundance of deregistered clients/entities in our client list. We would like the option of archiving these clients, but if they are still linked through the group, then they still show up under the group profile - but maybe in a separate section, so the group profile could list current clients and archived clients.

    Ideally, we want to archive them because they aren't an existing client anymore, however, we would still like them to be visible/searchable with the client data, so we can see their historical entities and for other reasons.

  18. Currently you can only set up one cover page template for tax returns in XPM. We'd like to be able to set up two different cover letters with different branding for each tax return and alternate between the two (i.e. select which cover letter you want for that return) when we are printing the tax return.

  19. Ability to set the client branding theme in XPM to push across to Xero. This comes from the branding theme set at the client level not working as the firms default branding theme currently is applied to all invoices. By default it should use the branding theme against the clients contact record in Xero as we have set this up but not working as per bottom comment on this help article here: https://central.xero.com/s/article/Set-default-invoice-quote-templates
