  1. Document packs that are cancelled, send a notification to clients. it would be good to be able to cancel the document pack and have the option of whether or not to notify the client.

  3. The fact that it's so hard to get a rental property schedule to share from one return to the selected second client is very very very very annoying. If there were a button we could press to manually ask it to share across that would save endless saving, closing, opening, closing the whole program, turning off your computer and leaving my desk in frustration.

  4. Make a schedule for allocating partner income and tax credits allocations with a total giving the ability to allocate income on the one page. Currently you have to go into each partner schedule. There is not always an even split of income and with many partner entities it is very time consuming.

    Hi everyone, as noted in the comments here with Single Client record and client lists now being the same across XPM and Xero HQ you could export your client list from Xero HQ and you'll in the export file there is a column for Organisation name.

    Appreciate this isn't directly within Xero atm, so we'll leave the idea open. We don't have any direct plans for developing this view in Xero right now, but we'll continue to track the appetite here and share if there's any change planned.

  6. it would be great if the tax offset from superannuation income stream could be automatically calculated like how the MYOB AE Tax does. Instead of manually enter the number in the box.

  8. We want to be able to report on any clients with outstanding balances at any point in time, and be able to action it before the ATO start calling us or the client to chase the debt.
    There is already a report on the ATO Portal – See attached screen shot. The report contains any AS’s that are overdue and also shows any clients debt/credit they may have on the ICA.
    We also want to be able to safely ignore any and all statements of account that the ATO spam us with because often, they issue a statement of account…

  9. In the bank account tab it would be good to have a tick box where you can select the accounts you want in your report. I have some client with 6 or more different bank accounts. If I only have two with un-coded transactions, being able to tick those two and then run the report would be practical and easier for my clients to follow.

  10. It would be great if we could have the ability to apply multiple relationships to a single entity at once, perhaps as a multiple checkboxes. So for example, when setting up a company, we might have one person who is the Director, Secretary, Public Officer and Shareholder but at the moment we need to add these in one at a time.

  11. Please reinstate the ability to edit email addresses under the bulk email function under Tax > Payments. Depending on the type of tax notice, we have to send a tax notice to a staff member and copy in an additional person. It will not allow us to enter in a second email address under the client profile. This is very time consuming if we have to send it out twice and inefficient.

  12. Would be great to have the ability in XPM tax to identify if the client has a payment arrangement with IR. If there is somewhere in tax we can enter this information and this gets flagged when approving the tax payment letter, not to send the letter if the tax year is under arrangement.

  13. It would be great to see the budgets easily when we open the Jobs tab in XPM. This will help us have a quick glance at the budget for each job rather than opening each job in a new browser tab or generate a report.

  14. It would be great if we could have the option of a display name as legal name for all entity types and not just individuals to help differentiate different entities with the same name. For example, we have a few trusts that share the same name but are completely separate entities belonging to different client groups and it can make it hard to tell those apart at a glance.

  15. XeroTax: Showing Client ID Code on Client page and being able to search by Client CODE, TFN, ABN, Mobile.

    We have many clients with the same name and we have to keep manually looking through their details to make sure they are the right client.

  19. Currently there are several system notifications in Xero Workpapers however there is not one for when the partner has approved the workpaper pack. This should then send a notification back to the preparer/manager to let them know the job is right to be finalised.

  20. For Tax return cover letters to have the ability to use the merge field 'Tax Form Due date' from the client record screen. Currently this placeholder is not available to Tax Return Cover Letters.
