Repeating Journals - Option to switch from "post" to "draft"
I would like the ability to stop repeat journals set to "post" from posting automatically and edit them to generate as "draft".
I can't see a way to do this currently and have to delete and re-create which is tiresome

Reporting - Add ABN/Tax Number as an optional column on Aged Payables and Receivables reports
It would be great to have the ability to display the Customer/Supplier ABN on reports with the contact's name.

Reports - Show Expense Descriptions from Xero Me App in Account Transactions Report
When reviewing quarterly and annual figures from the Profit and Loss report’s account transactions, we currently have to click into each Xero Me app expense to see the description and confirm it’s coded correctly. Expenses entered via bank feeds or bills display descriptions properly in the Account Transactions report, but Xero Me submissions do not.
This inconsistency makes it difficult to quickly identify and verify transactions without drilling into each one. Competing platforms such as MYOB, QuickBooks, and HandiLedger display expense descriptions consistently, regardless of how the expense was entered.

Journal Report - Reversal Filtering and Visibility Enhancements
I would like to request improvements to the Journal Report to make it more user-friendly for accountants and bookkeepers.
Currently, reversal journals and their original entries appear together, which makes the report difficult to read and slows down review during month-end and year-end close.
Please consider adding these enhancements:
1. Preferred enhancement: Reversal Filters
Please add filter options to control visibility of reversal-related journals:
• Show or hide original journals
• Show or hide reversal journals
• View only normal (non-reversal) journals

Email alerts for failed TIN Matches.
We have not received any alerts or confirmation emails on 1099 filing status. Having to login and check each client is cumbersome. Projects - Bulk Edit time entries for projects
Ability to enter search criteria for time entries and then make batch edits to the selected entries. Similar to the find and recode function for accounting transactions. Sometime projects change and/or split into multiple projects. Please add the ability to search for time entries by date, employee, project name, task, etc., and returning a list of the time entries that meet that criteria; select the time entries desired and then make bulk edits to the selected items.

Fixed Assets - Ability to set a default screen
When we enter into the Fixed Assets screen, the default should be the Registered tab rather than the Draft tab because that is the most commonly used screen.

Why is Sales Tax showing as a % for Shipping when shipping is set as not taxable?
I see there's a pop-up that says it's at 0% tax, but it's very confusing to the customer, showing a tax rate, and have explain that in fact Shipping Is not taxed

When selecting a date range in reports, please can a "last week" / "this week" common date selection be added?

signatures on charitable donation receipts
New Zealand Inland Revenue Department requires reciepts to be signed by an authorised person. . This does not appear to be possible possible with Xero at present by inserting an electronic or jpeg signature. With a significant number of receipts our charity issues this can only be done manually and a scanned copy sent.

NZ GST - Add Publish Function to new style GST report

I would like to request that we keep the publish button on the new GST layout. The new GST Return layout does not have the Publish to Reports function (this has been removed). The Publish Function is an important function for clients, bookkeepers and auditors to access all relevant publish reports in one place.188 votesHi team, thanks for continuing to share and support in this idea.

Feature Request – Add TIN and Address Columns in Reports for PH (BIR Compliance)
Hi Xero Team,
I would like to suggest a feature enhancement that would greatly benefit users in the Philippines.
Currently, when generating reports (such as Transaction Reports, General Ledger, or Contact-based reports), there is no option to display the Tax Identification Number (TIN) and registered address of contacts as columns.
Including TIN and address fields in report columns would significantly improve efficiency and accuracy in preparing BIR compliance reports such as:
- SLSP (Summary List of Sales and Purchases)
- QAP ( Quarterly Alphalist of Payees)
- SAWT (Summary Alphalist of Withholding Taxes)

Fixed Assets - Add a "Business Use Percentage" column option to the Fixed Asset Report
Some fixed assets have certain business use percentage. And this would be very much helpful for reporting purposes especially in the financial statements attaching the fixed asset recon report showing the business use percentage
3 votesHi Krizza, we understand how having a Business Use Percentage column available in the Fixed Asset Report would make it easier to review and present asset information, particularly for assets with both private and business use.
While Xero currently applies the business use calculation in the background, having the percentage visible directly in the report would help reduce the need to check individual asset records.

Reporting: Aged Receivables - Add NZBN number
I would like to produce an Aged Receivable custom report that includes the NZBN number which is held in a contact file. While I can manually pull two reports and manipulate them in Excel, there is always room for error doing it this way.

The investment boost should not be included if the purchase date of the asset is before 22 May 2025
The investment boost should not be included if the purchase date of the asset is before 22 May 2025. I have tested this and if you choose the option for investment boost, Xero still applies investment boost to the asset despite the purchase date of the asset being before the entitlement date. This seems a lot easier to fix than a lot of improvements made to Xero.

Winter Fuel Payments
It would be good to have a message pop up on the tax return if the winter fuel payment is not entered for income over £35,000. This now has to be entered on the 2025/2026 return.

Thanks I have done that and now have access. What I was hoping for was a report that showed overdue invoices with the invoice number , custo
It would be good to have a report that combines the History and notes report with the accounts receivable report, We want to be able to see overdue invoices as well as the notes/history so we can see actions taken to chase them. Currently the financial controller does this manually to send round the business but this means she's doing the task twice.

ATO "Total" Debt Report
The ATO are pushing hard to collect debt, and as Accountants we want to keep a finger on the pulse of amounts owing to the ATO for our clients.
At this point in time, i am not aware of a report we can generate through the ATO portal which tells us ALL the debt which is owed by our clients, across all their accounts, Tax, GST, Super etc.
Yes there is an integrated debt report we can run, but it only shows the ICA debt. By accident if someone has an ICA debt and a tax debt both will appear…
