Purchase orders | Delivery address - Populate with company name
When copying from invoice to purchase orders the following items are an issue.
1) ITEM CODE NOT POPULATED TO PURCHASE ORDER
2) COMPANY NAME FROM CONTACTS IS NOT POPULATING IN DELIVERY ADDRESS
3) CAN NOT EDIT DELIVERY ADDRESS ON PURCHASE ORDER IF REQUIRED
4) LAYOUT NOT CORRECT ON DELIVERY ADDRESS ONCE CONFIRMED, IT SHOULD BE LINE BY LINE.
5) CAN NOT COPY PURCHASE ORDER FROM INVOICE.
See example attached.
Hi everyone, we'd like to return and confirm that ur product team have made an update so now if search contacts to add a delivery address to a purchase order the Contact name will auto populate above the address.
We really appreciate you sharing with us the importance of this for you here. Thanks!

I agree that having the customer name not show with their address on a PO is incredibly inconvenient, especially when in a hurry. I understand I can put that in the "attention to" field, however then on the PO it shows up NEXT TO the address, and not above the address like it should. I have to go in and edit each time and that is unnecessary. Please change that back to how it was before.

Apologies team forgot to add the link - here is where you can stay up to date on the ability to edit delivery address changes (https://productideas.xero.com/forums/967139/suggestions/50991640)

The Company Name showing in the address is a must on the Purchase Orders. Due to the update this has been removed and causes extra work unnecessarily.

We can read the "Long and Short of it" or the "Short and Long of it" you
will probably not change it back.
Your developers do not use this everyday like your customers (us) and
have decided that this looks good to them instead of trying out an alpha
project select few customers and let them rip it apart and take their
suggestions.
If you feel you need to build a custom system you are in the wrong line of
software development your software is (was) designed for the masses.
You need to build a system around your customers' needs, not what you
feel is best for you, or a few select customers.

These are the exact same problems I have been trying to get resolved with Xero over the past day or so. All they do is refer me to this page and vote!
Why mess with something that worked.. I now have to do a bunch more manual entry in the latest version that is time and money wasting.
Come on Xero, get this sorted or reverted to how it was.
