Hi all, thanks for feeding back on the ways you work with invoicing and what you'd like to see with new invoicing in Xero.
Our team are reviewing the flow when copying an invoice and having the contact name automatically populate.
In the way this currently works, once you add a contact to the new(copied) invoice any defaults you've applied to a contacts record will then be applied to the invoice. This flow of default application is something the team will consider as part of their review and what works best for majority of users.

Hi community, we've released our first update to history and notes of new invoicing, where you can now view more detail of changes such as where an issue or due date has been altered or the amount of your invoice is changed. There's more improvements for this space coming soon and I'll keep you up to date with these, here.

Hi community, we can see there’s lots of interest in this idea and appreciate all your feedback and comments. We absolutely understand the value that unapproving a bill would bring to your businesses. Unfortunately, while the concept is quite simple, the technical implementation within Xero is highly complex.
The good news is that our Product team is still keen to solve this problem for you. They have a possible solution and would love to hear your response to validate their thinking.
Put simply, instead of "unapproving", the solution would bundle the following tasks into a single action so that you can effectively "unapprove" a bill much faster.
- Void the bill
- Copy the bill
- Reattach any files (IF any) from the voided bill to the copy of the bill
A primary caveat to this is you could only action one bill at a time. So, if you had multiple bills that…

Hi community, we're aware of the importance of being able to preview page breaks in Xero Reporting is to you, and would like to test a design concept which we've come up with that may not be as interruptive to other workflows as initially thought.
If you'd like to help us to validate this, please Reply to this update, and our team will reach out shortly to connect and find a time that suits to have a conversation. This will involve;
- About a 30 minute video call, during which we'd like to share your screen to demonstrate your workflow and interact with our prototype designs.
- We may ask to record this (which you have the right to decline).
- These sessions will be booked between 8 - 17 May

Seems they only upgrade what they want, this along with adding additional reply to email addresses should be something that's done not dependant on the number of votes to get their attention and then to only consider doing.
It would also be nice to be able to attach copies of invoices to statements when sending instead of having to send two separate emails, currently I download and attach the statement to invoices and then send and that's a pain when you have multiple ones to send.
