Hello everyone, we want to let you know that we’ve recently released the ability to convert PDF bank statements into pre-formatted CSV files in Xero (Read more on our blog for more information).
Currently, this feature is only available in the US and Canada. We know this tool will also be valuable to other regions and we'll be sure to update you with any new information about it becoming available globally.
For now, we’ll move the status of this idea to ‘Under review’. So keep voting and give us your input on how this feature can benefit your workflow!

This used to be available within this report as I had a custom report built for this but someone, somewhere within Xero has removed the option to add quantities & unit price to the Account Transaction report. What is the point of giving the ability to post bills/invoices using quantity & unit price if you can't then report on how much of a particular item you have purchased. We are trying to extract information for a UK Government funded Carbon Audit for farming clients and now have to resort to drilling into each transaction to find out the quantities purchased of fertiliser and fuel. This should be a standard means of reporting for non-service industry clients who don't function in the same way as e.g. plumbers merchants and the like.

Hi community, I’d like to share the new Xero Central page for new invoicing that we noted was coming.
Along with updates to individual ideas on the site here, this page will become the one source for key feature rollouts including:
- what’s available in new invoicing right now,
- timelines for features and enhancements going live in new invoicing, as well as
- a comparison table between the classic and newer versions of invoicing.
We'll be updating this page regularly.
Remember, you can keep switching between the two products between now and September. Thanks

On looking through the comparison between Classic and New Invoicing on Xero Central, there's a tick against Classic for the ability to manually adjust the tax amount but not for New. This function really needs to be available for those of us who receive self-billing invoices and need to match those details up. HMRC (UK) would not be happy if these didn't match up and to have to add an extra two lines for the sake of 1p or 2p on the VAT calculation seems like a very backward step. Can this be added to the amendment list please?

I agree
Most of the ‘improvements’ to the areas I use have been ok but new invoicing shouldn’t have been released until all the features of classic had been added. As it stands, it’s not fit for purpose sadly. When I worked for a software house many years ago, all changes were tested in house by our own finance team before being released to clients.
Shame they don’t work on the things we actually do want, like being able to add credit notes at the bank reconciliation screen. Now that would be an improvement worth shouting about.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts on the possible solution we shared a few months ago. After careful consideration taking all feedback on board, we will not be moving forward with this solution.
We're still considering how we might solve for the issues presented here over the long term and there are other pieces of work the team are currently delving into such as duplicate bills detection that may also help solve some needs here.
That said, we'll move the idea back to Submitted and continue to keep you updated on any progression that can help the needs expressed through the idea here. Thanks

Hi team, while this may be something we look to do in the future unfortunately we were not able to move along with the work the team had started exploring here.
We'll move to Accepted for now and if there are any updates I'll be back to share with you all. Thanks and continue to support this idea if it's something you'd like to see.

Hi community, first off thank you for the continued interest and feedback surrounding this idea. We’re continuing to build on the bank reconciliation experience in Xero and recognise the ways this feature will help improve the efficiency, flexibility and transparency of transactions in your business. Our team have done a lot of exploration into being able to surface and match Credit Notes when reconciling your bank account in Xero, and this is now in development.
We’ll shift the idea here into ‘Working on it’ and continue to update as there’s more detail of this to share.

Come on Xero, this has been an issue with Hubdoc for a long time now. Many are using Apron, Dext or AutoEntry to do this when we should be able to have this function with Hubdoc. Please speed up the updates for this program.
