I just discovered this too, and have wasted my time creating a new budget that I can't use in xero in any meaningful way. Either allow a user to choose which budget they use in the watchlist or don't allow multiple budgets to be created so people don't fall into a trap of creating something of little value.

Hi Craig, we really appreciate you taking the time to share such an honest and detailed perspective on our pricing plans. We hear your frustration and understand your concerns about ensuring our plans provide the right value and features for small businesses, especially in light of the upcoming price changes.
Your feedback is an important part of how we learn and grow. We've reviewed your suggestion to make Analytics an optional feature on the Ignite and Grow plans, and it's now open for the wider community to see and support.
Along with votes, others can now comment to share how this kind of flexibility in our plans would impact their business. Hearing these different perspectives helps us get a much clearer picture of what our customers truly need from Xero.

This is critical, I waste hours of time explaining why the estimate is wrong in Xero. Excess contributions, div 293, TFN WH opn interest for non-residents. Clients demand an acurate estimate and Xero really should understand this better.

What Xero are charging for effectively a trial accounting package once you consider the 5 bills per month is just an assault on small business customers.
I spoke to my salesman about this and the response I got was "I'll pass it on, but the higher ups are arranging the pricing to move away from small businesses and they are sure they know what they are doing"
It seems a crazy strategy to me, bigger businesses would never see Xero as a good fit, then the marketing is all about getting your small business out of a shoe box.
Well, if your shoe box only has 5 bills a month in it, you'll be fine, if not you'll be paying 2-3 times the cost of other products in the market which for all purposes will be more suitable.
I mean $90AUD / per month to enter bills and pay wages for a second employee after yourself is plainly prohibitively expensive for a step up from shoe box bookkeeping and I'd blame no one for sticking with that system and pocketing the $1,100 a year.

Hi everyone, thanks for sharing your feedback with us here. We've been listening and taking this all into careful consideration. As you may have recently heard, we've made the decision to provide the same flexibility on payroll in AU and UK as you could before, as well as being able to process automated super payments for employees on all these business plans in Australia.
With these changes we'll be enabling payroll for 1 person on Ignite, and an additional for Grow (up to 2 people) similar to the Starter and Standard plans.
While we don't have a set date for this change yet you can read more on this through our blog post and we'll update you with more news when available through this idea. Thanks

Hi everyone, as another step toward improving history of new invoicing you'll find you'll now see an entry when an invoice is sent, and the email address it has been sent to.
We appreciate this is something we've heard a fair amount of feedback on and we hope helps in your journey to using new invoicing.
We still have more enhancements on the way for history and I'll be back again when more updates land.

I've spoken to multiple people from Xero about this, it's the same trained answer. "We hear you, I'll speak to those above, but I fear the decision hs been made and the higher ups know more than you, so suck it up" It was the same with the reports fiasco, you can't help but feel you are being asked to take your business to another platform.

Hi everyone, we appreciate all your feedback on how we could evolve roles for customers using Xero. As you can see through the ideas on the platform, there are a wide range of combinations of permissions our customers want to see us build. As user roles impact all areas of the product, there are many considerations we must factor in when assessing how to solve for majority of our customers needs.
We’re beginning to conduct research on the current landscape and how we might approach some of the most predominant needs in roles for our customers. Front footing this, the discovery of this work will be long winded and there will be multiple phases of research and forms of engagement with users that’ll help shape the path ahead in this space.
We’d like to invite you, our community to be part of this research and discovery. This may involve interviews…An error occurred while saving the comment Craig Byron commented
I'm an accountant with one employee using ledgers to produce financials for a number of clients. Ledger subscriptions that restrict accees to reporting to one user only are an expensive frustration. I either need to give them my credtentials to use to prepare those financials, or I need to upgrade to a subscription that costs 3 times as much

Hi everyone, appreciate your continued feedback on new invoicing. As mentioned in my last update we've now added a new Xero Central page for new invoicing.
Along with updates to individual ideas on Xero Product Ideas, this page will become the single source of truth for key feature rollouts including:
- what’s available in new invoicing right now,
- timelines for features and enhancements going live in new invoicing, as well as
- a comparison table between the classic and newer versions of invoicing.
We'll be updating this page regularly.
Relating to some of the more recent feedback there are some existing ideas that may also be of particular interest that you can join, like the ability to see the email the invoice was sent to in the history, or being able to see a timestamp, and reducing clicks and steps.

Another hugely unpopular change going ahead regardless of feedback, there's simply no point using this platform.

New invoicing, going the same way as the new reports and new coke. An unnecessary change that appears to only have been made to drive customers away and make the product worse not better. And of course someone has to pay for all this, so up the subsription fees go. There has to be a breaking point where you destroy the product enough to drive customers away for good, for the life of me I can't understand why you are **** bent on trying to get there as quickly as possible.
There are a bunch of great ideas you could be doing, instead you are solely foucssed on wrecking all the good bits of the software. It's at the point where I can no longer in good conscience tell people Xero is the go to product, it's just not anywhere near what it was.

20 invoices and 5 bills, but guess what, where adding analytical tools to help you get a handle on theose 25 transactions! Really? who would need or want analytics and performance visualisation tools for that level of transactions?
I've had this conversation before, but to think that someone doing such a low level of transactions needs alalytical and visual features is gobsmackig - even for Xero. As a tax agent, I tell new business clients to avoid Xero and hang onto spreadsheets or try other software for as long as they can. If this product offered usable limits I'd practically beg them to all go onto it. They are so close to dominating the market, yet so far away.
The only logical reason I can see for holding out on this is there must be a lot of Grow subscribers who could drop their subscription down.
