538 votesHi community, we appreciate the continued traction this idea's received, and do want to provide clarity and set expectation.
Your feedback has been valuable in understanding the needs of using description only lines to; add subheadings, provide context for grouped charges, and ensure your invoices are easy for your clients to read and understand.
To reconfirm, atm - You can add one-off description only lines as you enter an invoice. However, if you add detail to any other field the line will be treated as a 'financial' line and you'll need to include Qty, Unit price, Account and Tax rate.
- We know some users have set up and saved inventory items for description only lines they commonly use, however as the item code field is used for inventory items the line of the invoice is treated as 'financial' meaning you'll then need to include Qty, Unit price, Account and Tax…

Hi team, we appreciate the interest from you all on the new navigation experience.
We're keen to continue tracking where our customers would find features the most useful in terms of navigation and if there are any changes for the location of Tax I will share with you here.

Thanks for your feedback on being able to pay invoices and bills directly from the contact page.
This isn’t something that’s on our current roadmap for invoicing, bills or payments. Right now we’re focused on other improvements in these areas, so there’s no planned work or timeframe we can share for adding a bulk “pay / receive payment” option from the contact view ⭐
If this changes and the idea moves onto the roadmap, we’ll post an update on the Product Ideas page first so you can follow along:

Thanks for your feedback and letting us know how we could improve the way duplicates alerts work for you here.
While we don't have any immediate changes planned for this, our team will consider improvements to this model overtime.
For the time being we'll continue to keep our eyes on the support for this in community, here. I'll share if there is any news.

I heavily support this idea. I like seeing suggestions for these ideas when they're new and if they're relevant to any of the organisations I manage I would happy agree/proceed with them. There HAS to be an option to turn these banners off. Even if there is a section that lets you turn them off/on permanently.
the fact that they reappear ALL the time in every organisation I have and every log in... is beyond frustrating and distracting.
ALL the organisations I manage do not and will not accept online payments, its an irrelevant function. PLEASE PLEASE do something about this.
