Quotes - Permanently Delete Quotes
Ability to delete quotes permanently in Xero.
Purpose: To make the ‘All tab’ didn’t get mixed up with the unused quotes that were supposed to be deleted.
76 votesAppreciate the feedback and interest through the idea here. Being open this isn't something we have plans for at this stage. Current focus is on new invoicing and improving the experience for our users as we edge closer to the retirement of classic invoicing.
We'll continue to keep our eyes on all sales flow ideas in the forums here and will let you know if there's any updates to share on this idea.

Paypal - Ability to exclude hold & general Authorisation transactions
Ability to ignore ‘holds/temp’ transactions from PayPal.
Purpose: To make reconciliation easier.

Projects - Notes or Description field in Projects
Add notes/description field in Xero Projects.
Purpose: To have a better record of the Projects. E.g. notes about the quotes that users’ sent to their client/customer.
74 votesHi everyone, while our team considered solutions in this space with other pieces of work planned there is no current development planned for adding a notes or description field within Projects at this time.
For now, as you may be aware you can add notes to the History and notes of the individual transactions within a project, or alternatively on the Contacts record.
We're continuing to watch this space and will share if there is any progress.

360 votesHi community, some time passed since our last update in the thread here we do want to return and share - while our product teams explored possibilities for how we might represent Purchase Orders in Projects research has confirmed that there is underlying work needed to the platform Purchase Orders are built on before we can achieve any good outcomes of your needs here.
We have enthusiasm and a close eye remaining on the support for this, but want to be honest that this is not something that we’ll be able to focus our attentions on in the near future.
Once we have completed work first needed in the Purchase Orders space we can reassess how to integrate purchase Orders into Projects and will update you all of steps forward, here. -
Projects - Ability to attach Files to a Project
Ability to attach files to Xero projects.
Purpose: To make users’ able to attach necessary documents for their project such as contracts and quotes.
121 votesHi everyone, we appreciate wanting the ability to assign files to the project itself. While this isn't something we have planned right now we'll keep tracking the interest through the idea here.
To highlight, though not currently available on the Project directly, it's possible to attach files to the individual transactions within a project e.g a Bill, Invoice, Spend money or Expense. i
Along with this, you may also find it useful to create folders within your Files library where you can collect all files related to a specific project for ease of reference.
Understand this isn't the ideal solution, but may help some for now 🙂

Invoice Reminders - Auto email Statements to customers

Purpose: To prevent late payment from customer

Customer statements, is an area of Xero that needs upgrades to it's technology in order to make ideas like this one here possible.
Currently, while we have plans for modernising this space soon we cannot commit to any new developments for Statements until this work has been complete. Once this has been done I'll round back to the idea here when we can reset the objectives.
