    Thanks for sharing and supporting this idea - while I don't have an update specific to this idea, I thought you might be interested in the following:

    Our AU Payroll team are testing some changes to Payroll reconciliation. The idea to create an AU payroll reporting pack is highly associated with payroll reconciliation and we feel that voters here would also have an interest in payroll reconciliation. They would love to hear from you!

    They’re aiming to conduct some 1 on 1 interviews between 6 Feb - 16 Feb 2024, the interviews will last 45 minutes.

    The purpose of the session: Participants will be asked to help with testing a prototype concept designed to enhance the AU payroll reconciliation process.

  3. Would be great if you could pay the IRD PAYE when you pay the employees in the same payroll batch. This is already a function with Flexitime Payhero and doesn’t rely on staff making the IRD PAYE payment manually. If Xero had this function there would never be any late IRD PAYE payments as its getting paid to IRD when the employees are paid.

  5. Please give us the option to split the base rate and casual loading items WHILE working with a timesheet. At the moment this has be manually done in every pay run if we want to show the loading separately.

  6. Ability to export pay items and update pay rates in a spreadsheet and then re-import when pay rates have been updated. Would save so much time each year when Fair Work increases pay rates.

  7. Have the ability to set the relevant Award Rates and applicable grade so the pay rates gets automatically updated each year when the award rate changes, rather than having to manually make the changes.

  8. Lot of employee are working overtime. Holiday should be paid adding the Holiday Pay Adjustment. This means that overtime, certain allowances and commission plans will be included in the first 20 days of leave taken in any holiday year. To put this simply, you should be no worse off financially by taking your holiday. So if you earn commissions, claim certain allowances or work overtime these will now be considered as part of your holiday pay adjustment payment.   10. Hi
    I would like to be able to process a Payroll Transaction Summary Listing report that shows the individual amounts per pay item for every employee for the financial year in one report. Currently, I need to select the individual employee to get this information, but this is not practical when a business has 10 or more employees as it takes too much time to select each employee individually to get this information.

  12. We need to pay two different groups of employees from two different bank accounts. Having to change the payroll settings each time I do a pay run (to change the bank account) leaves far too much room for error. Can there be an option to select which bank account you want to use for each pay group PLEASE!!?

  13. If a pay increase is implemented across the board then currently, the only way to amend employees salary amount is to enter each record manually. If you have a large number of employees this is extremely time consuming.

    If a salary scale was used and assigned to employee records, it could be uplifted by a percentage and all records would automatically update.

  15. In the employee card under pay template be able to organise the earnings rates in the order we prefer. For example have employees working overtime, saturday sunday and monday to friday. Being able to put the earnings in alpahbetical; order not how it is saved by Xero.

  17. It would be beneficial for an employee to record all hours worked in the timesheet including hours to be allocated as TOIL Accrual
    i.e. employee works 35 hours, 30 hours ordinary and 5 hours to TOIL accrual?
    Then when the employees wishes to take the TOIL, they submit a Leave Request as per existing functionality.

    Currently the employee needs to separately notify payroll regarding hours worked to be allocated to TOIL Accrual. And this doesn't go through the Supervisor Timesheet Approval process.

  18. Managers who have the ability to approve leave in Xero Me should be able to view historical leave requests they've approved so they can anticipate when staff are away. Currently, they cannot do this unless they have Payroll Admin access and a Xero account on a web browser. Not all managers are finance people and need to have this access.

  20. It would be good if payroll reports could be customised, i.e. after making a change to an existing report, such as Gross To Net report, the new template could be saved as a Custom Report.

    At the moment, it isn't possible to save the updated format, so I have to make the same changes to the standard report every month.
