  1. Please can you remove the dog animation from the Xero Me app as a matter of urgency? It is unnecessary and has repeatedly caused anxiety issues for me (and I'm sure others like me) who suffer from a severe fear of dogs. It's just awful for me to use the app now - the previous expenses app had no issues in this regard. It should be replaced by a more relevant animation such as a timer. If this cannot be done, I will have to switch to Quickbooks.

    Hi Andrew, understand being quite niche this idea hasn't picked up much traction from the community here.

    That said, we appreciate the stress this causes and though I understand you've also approached our specialists at Xero Support thought it would be worth sharing this for others here too - The best method to completely avoid this loading screen for the time being would be to use your web browser from your mobile device.

    Having connected with our product team they may look at possible changes in the long term, but we don't have immediate plans to change this screen. I'll move your idea here to Not planned, however if our position changes in the future we'll update you again. Thanks

In the new contact view, everything is spread out, with lots of wasted white space (similar to the bills list without 'compact view' toggled, or the list of repeating bills (which doesn't have the ability to be compact in view). I can deal with the info I need to pick a transaction to open being on complete opposite sides of a widescreen by pulling the contact into a new window and reducing the width of that window until it's readable without excessive twisting of the head (a poor workaround for an ergonomics risk, but it's the only one I could…

  4. It is really basic, the permission control is not flexible and give more options. How about to give multiple choosing box for permissions. I want to create a user and give him permission to create and print quotations and a purchase order permission to create and submit for approval. Because the purchase approval permission i want to give to the manager levels only.

  5. The report should be able to generate Employee Name (First & Last in separate columns), DOB, TFN, Bank Details provided, Super Funds & Address.

    We need various information like from time to time for reporting purposes but we cannot get it without having to click in to every single employees - which is hectic

  6. When sending invoices from Xero to Xero it doesn't attach the actual invoice in the draft bill as an attached so we don't have this invoice for record keeping purposes and can't even see if there's VAT or No VAT charged on the invoice as it is not attached to the bill. This needs to be added.

    Hi team, apologies as we have jumped the gun a little - While it's currently possible to include a PDF of the invoice when sending via the Xero network, including attached files is not available just yet.

    However, I want to confirm this is something the team are currently working on and we will share as soon as there is another update on this.

  7. I need to be able to approve super when I am travelling and do not have access to text messages. It is most inflexible that there is only one method for doing this! Can the Xero Verify App not be used for auto super approvals too? Then I only need wifi.

    Or, can text be received to whatsapp instead?

  8. Can we get the report pack to automatically update both the footer and compilation report, based on the page range for the statement of accounting policies and notes to the financial statements. We're currently doing this manually and it leaves room for error.

  9. Not sure about other pensions, but when using NEST, Xero doesn't currently link up how you would like it to.
    Whether you pay staff monthly or weekly, you are bound to have a cut off date for calculating hours which is before the date you send payment to employees.
    The info that gets shared when filing the pension records is the "payment date". This physical date falls under the following pay period meaning when the info is transferred to NEST it comes up as the wrong period.
    For example:
    (monthly pay) 24th Aug - 23rd Sep, with pay on 30th…

  10. This will allow for easy review of an employee's age alongside their current payrate and adjustment post birthday. Currently, I run two reports, Employee Contact Details and Employee Remuneration Report, export to excel and merge to allow cross reference of all information. The remuneration Report would also benefit from having all wage categories to select if needed, ie: Saturday Rate, Sunday Rate, Public Holiday Rate etc. Negating the need to access each employee pay template to check correct rates have been set up.

  12. Reinstate "Voided" bills and invoices
    We have had an invoice created accidentally with sensitive payroll info, it was then voided without thinking and now that info is permanently in the xero file - we need to at LEAST be able to edit voided invoices (as you can at any other stage - ie maybe a "reinstate" so we can edit to remove this sensitive data, then re-void??!!

  14. I am looking for a way to view a value for the supplier or customer transaction as a total value not as individual lines in the vat201 report. For example. I have 3 line transactions in 1 customer invoice, so it shows these three separately. I dont want to view it like that, I want to view it as a complete value, so we can double check the whole invoice as opposed to going to the invoice and looking line through line, which is extremely time consuming

  15. When a bill is generated through Email-to-Bill the bill history only says System Generated and 'Received through Email-to-Bill'
    It would be much more valuable to see the sender's email here (e.g. 'Received through Email-to-Bill from ***@gmail.com') in case a follow-up is needed

  18. We would definately want to see the hourly rate and hours for overtime for staff on annual salaries.
    At the moment the overtime hours are printed but not the rate of pay for the overtime.

  19. Currently, when using the cash coding screen, if you do not allocate a payee a new payee is created for each line item. If there is no Payee the contact should be Unknown otherwise there is too many contacts created for no reason.
