  1. New Invoices - Option to Reflect All Open Invoice Totals in "Total Amount Due"

    It would be helpful to have the total amount due reflected in the total amount due for new invoices.
    I already send customers reminders, account statements, etc. Perhaps some customers do not read what I'm sending to them. If the total amount due was on the invoice, it would be very clear as to the total amount owed.

  3. Generate Reports with Trailing Time Periods

    I want to have a report that tracks how my business is doing on a trailing X-day time period. Standard windows I view are 7 days, 30 days, and 90 days.

    I would love it if I could create a custom P&L report that looks at the financial health of my business over the last 30 days whenever I open it up.

    The current work around is to manually specify dates by calculating what was 30 days or 90 days into the past which works, but is annoying.

  6. In the bank feed section. Please make the vendor history available when going through bank feeds. QBO has a button in the bank feeds called Categorization History. This way to do not have to go into a contact page to view how something was coded in the past. This is for things without rules.

  8. Xero Payroll only subscriptions!

    It would be great to be able to open a payroll only Xero subscription for clients who currently don't need/use Xero for bookkeeping. For example, I have a small client who employees a few people but I only provide year end accounting services to which I use the Ledger subscription to complete the year end accounts. I currently utilise Sage payroll online for the monthly payroll reporting but if I could integrate this into Xero without the need for a main subscription, this would help me keep everything in one place.   9. Send or transfer files from the file library between organisations

    We have multiple organisations and it is easy to get emails mixed up with files being sent to the wrong organisation. It would be super useful if files could be transferred from one organisation to another directly from the file library.

  10. For employees who use Xero My Payroll, if you are a Payroll Admin user, you can grant employees authority to approve leave. The option for Timesheet approval should also be there, it is available in other countries but not NZ.

  12. To show the invoice line detail in project reporting rather than a consolidated invoice line.

    You have to allocate each individual line on the invoice to a project but on the project report it consolidates to just one line which doesn't make sense when you put the level of detail at the invoice that it doesn't pull through that detail to the project reporting.

  13. I already submitted and someone closed off my ticket incorrectly.

    I want the ability to have a default template for INVOICES and a different default template for QUOTES.

    Someone submitted this as already existing here https://central.xero.com/s/article/Set-default-invoice-quote-templates?userregion=true

    But the default invoice template set for the contact will override the organisation’s default template when you add an invoice, quote, customer

  14. When viewing a Contact's record, the activity can appear cluttered with every single change made, including adding planned payment dates, removing planned payment dates, adding invoice notes, editing the contact's record etc.
    It would be good to be able to filter this page to look at say Bills Paid and Invoices Paid only; or Invoice Sent only.
    As it works now, for a very active contact, this can quickly become difficult to navigate.

    Thanks for your feedback and sharing your idea in the forums here, Jo - As part of our work for 'building on beautiful' a contact record is the next page in this space that'll be getting a new look. 

    Though a little too soon to confirm what it will look like, I can say that the page will be cleaner, with filters to help with viewing what is shown on the page.

  15. Would be great to be able to add an expected win date on a quote so that it can show in the short term cashflow (STC)feature. Would save adding it manually again via the Add incoming outgoing money feature option.
    All the details are present just need to make it presented to the STC. If it's won then it changes status. If lost it's removed from the forecast.

  16. We pay our employees under the Electrical award which includes several compulsory 'All Purpose' allowances that are now reported separately as per STP2. Why are these allowances excluded from an employee's annual salary on their payslip? They used to be included as part of their base hourly rate - therefore included in their annual salary and as such, should still be included in 'annual salary'. Can you please have the option to 'include in annual salary' when setting up Allowance categories in the pay items?

  17. It would be good if you could go into 'Pay Employees' and next to the STP - Filed or not filed it would be good to have 'Payslips Emailed'. I have no way of checking / double checking if I have sent them.

    Thanks for your idea, Joe. To better understand the use case and maybe help others who'd be after the same connect with your idea here - Are there any scenarios or situations you generally find when viewing a contact and wanting to view the very next or last contact in a list? 

  20. I would be good to be able to carry out data analysis of each nominal code and therefore group the account transactions by month with totals rather than by week which will ultimately tie back to the P&L. This would make it useful when carrying out data analysis from the P&L.
