  1. I need to create an invoice template that has free typing for the customer and address. We often have customers visit that are not our usual customers. We dont want to create a new customer every time someone comes in the door. We will allocate to Works (set up as a cutomer) but need a box to free type their boat name, address ect.

    Hi Andy, from your description it sounds like you may need to hold and track details of these sort of customers for a limited time? As you've found to do that atm you would need to create a new contact record. However, to keep things tidy you could look at adding a generic term or character at the start of the contact name and merging or archiving these every so often so you don't have too many contacts listed in your org? 

    While we'll get a sense of the interest surrounding this on the idea here I want to be open that we don't have plans for this sort of thing any time soon. 

  2. Please update depreciation schedule to allow for custom percentages per year, for small business in SA it is allowed to depreciate 50% / 30% / 20% over three years but there is no viable way to implement currently.

Standard invoice template should allow users to remove company name and or address within the tick box options - so that those printing on headed paper (containing pre printed logo and name and address of co) can adapt standard invoice easily and don't require advanced work of docx custom invoice to achieve name and address removal

  5. On the notes section to the financial reports in adviser reports templated under the groups, I would like the accounts selected to be in alphabetical order. At the moment the only option is to manually drag and drop - with a large number of accounts this is extremely time consuming. An automated function would assist.

  6. I am having some difficulty with "Blank Reports". I designed a small divisional report which included only a small percentage of my P&L accounts. I tried to select a date range which is offered but doesn't work - the only date range that works is the current financial year. If you want to look at last month, last quarter etc - no luck.

    When I brought this to the attention of Xero, their response was that feature isn't available - then why is it a report option. Their suggestion was to modify the P&L format which has date options that…

  7. Fix the Bill Total field to allow regular number input ability.

    Specifically, allow the ability to enter .01 instead of having to enter 0.01 which is very unnatural. So, disable/remove the logic that requires the Bill Total entered to start with a number.

    Use Case
    - We get numerous invoices with a $0.01 total where the product may be an allocation or new line incentive. I constantly get a Bill Total mismatch because I enter the Bill Total as .01 which results in $1.00 bill total instead of the expected $0.01 bill total.

  10. Function to duplicate a pay rate category.
    For example, we have 1st, 2nd and 3yr apprentices, all on different base rates of pay, plus they also have different rates of pay for day shift, night shift, working on site, working in the workshop etc. XERO doesnt allow me to only calculate super on ordinary hours when i have so many different pay categories as it cant determine just 'ordinary hours"... so for each of those rates i need to have sub categories....   11. 2 TOIL options, TOIL accrued & TOIL Accrued in place of Overtime

    We are unable to mark a Time in Lieu Leave pay item as exempt from accruing SGC, which is not how the ATO classifies SGC for TOIL.

    We suggest having 2 TOIL categories, so that there is the option for a TOIL where SGC is required to be paid and one wit SGC exempt:- when super is accrued on overtime.

  13. When setting up bank rules there are times when the flexibility of a string search is great and ANY should be applied, but some times a amount limit is needed to distinguish different nature of the spend. EG small spend at a service station might be a drawing rather than a fuel item.

  14. The repeating invoices that go to draft should have an option of saving for the next repeating invoice for that client. If you dont edit the invoice before it goes to draft eg: to increase an annual charge, then it does not save for the next time that repeating invoice comes up. Either that or give an option for a repeating invoice that has been delited to repeat again.

  16. PAPDIS file download to include total Gross Salary and not just the Salary with the £520 not pensionable deducted and the pension provider we use (Creative) expects this in their upload. EVery month I have to edit Gross Pensionable Pay for all employees to add the £520 on the PAPDIS CSV I download.

  17. PAPDIS Pension reports for submission should include ALL employees not just those who have not opted out as the pension provider (creative) I submit to need all the information as they do the pension assessment on everyone every month. I have to manually edit the csv downloaded every month which can lead to mistakes.

  18. Xero Analytics Plus cashflow to show a year not just 90 days.
    The current cashflow upgrade from Xero only shows up to 90 day which is weird as in reality you need to forecast for the year. Is this going to be extended to a year like all the other cashflow apps ?

  20. When you create repeat invoices it only allows discount in % but when you create a manual invoice you can have discount in % or £. This should allow both for repeat invoices as well.
