  2. I work a lot with quotes and 99% of the time I am interested only in Draft quotes. So I select "Draft" but everytime I select a quote to change it, after I close a change quote screen and I return to the list of quotes, the list is shown again with "All" quotes. Why doesn't Xero keep the selection criteria to re-show the list? I literally have to re-select "draft" hundreds of time per day. It doesn't make sense to me...   3. When adding a new employee record, allow me to 'create new superannuation' during the process of creating their new record. Currently when adding a new employee record, I need to navigate away from the employee record to 'Settings > Payroll Settings > Superannuation' to add a new superannuation relationship. On the new employee record, when the pop up appears for superannuation, if you could add a spot to say 'Create New relationship' or something under the employee record - I'll buy you a beer.

  6. Currently, when creating an invoice, the payment terms dropdown gives you the following options:
    - Today
    - 7 days
    - 14 days
    - EOM +1
    - EOM +20
    - end of next month
    I would like to customise this list; the Australian government has recently brought in payment standards of 5 days if sent by e-invoice and 20 days if not, for all invoices sent to all non-corporate Commonwealth entities (including Defence) and neither of those are amongst the standard options.   7. Ability or setting to default include files attached to an invoice when sending from Xero

    Purpose | Steps are currently involved to include files that are on an invoice when sending the invoice to a customer, an option like this would ease the process of including files that a customer needs to have access to and see when they received their invoice

  9. Currently, when super payments bounce, Xero sends us an email letting us know that a payment to a particular super fund from a particular payment batch has failed. Once we've identified whose it was, and got the updated details, we then have to contact Xero to get a re-processing authorised.

    All of this takes time, during which the Directors of my clients may become liable for late super payments. I'd like a button to click to speed up at least the contacting Xero for re-processing bit - preferably as part of the process identify the refund received and connect the…

  10. When we create quotes we do not want the individual cost to be sent to the client as we may increase or decrease price depending on actual needs. Therefore I would like to send a quote with all the products/services itemized but not individual cost just a TOTAL?

    Also to better understand the idea would this be on a client basis or across all clients that are managed by a practice? 

  12. There is a a Bug - Dashboard says under VAT Return Payment due in x days but payment was already made some days ago, properly conconciled with the exact correct amount. Xero should recognise this and not show an amount due in Dashboard which is incorrect.

  13. See Inventory Item Cost when doing a Quote. I would find it helpful, when doing a quote to a customer, to see the cost of the inventory item I am quoting on. Of course, it should not appear in the final quote going to the client, but seeing it, would give me more confidence in doing my quote and make it a lot quicker. Thanks

    Hi Vijay, there is already an option to go straight to Bank Rules - if you click on the 3 dots in a bank widget on the Dashboard you'll see an option for Bank Rules like shown in my image below 🙂🙂

    If this isn't quite what you're after it'd be good to get more detail to understand your needs here. 

  15. Batch Deposits: allow adding over-payments and pre-payments to a batch deposit from the Invoice > Awaiting Payments tab.

    Currently a bank deposit that includes over-payments or pre-payments will not match recorded batch deposits because over-payments and pre-payments cannot be added to batch deposits. This causes a lot of wasted time communicating with client accounting staff to understand how to reconcile the variances.

  16. I would really like to be able to allocate my expenses to a project within the app.
    If I add a receipt via the app, (which for me is the most efficient way to add expenses) I then have to go online, find the transaction, edit it and resave it, in order to sign it to a project. This is frustratingly inefficient and doubles the time it takes to input a purchase!
    Could you please add this ability to the app?

  17. Expenses - Clone or Copy an Existing Expense

    My team have asked if we can make a 'copy to new Expense feature' from an existing Expense. Most of the expenses they enter are similar and just have a different amount and different receipt image. It would save them a lot of time if they could clone an existing Expense. Thank you.

  18. It would be extremely useful to be able to either
    1. export the main data from all purchase orders / or
    2. be able to make up a custom report

    Ie: Supplier, date / reference / ETA / Salesperson / dollar / Revenue identity etc.
    Used For: Sales team, Customer order ETA's etc

  19. The Project Details report has the option to Summarise by Project Name, however the feature doesn't work if you select multiple projects. Xero support have advised that they know about the problem but don't plan on fixing it. The report just comes back with a message saying "There is No Data to Display". This report would be very useful as it is the only report that shows remaining hours on the summary version. Project reports overall are very confusing and this is the report that makes the most sense and is not working.

  20. Projects - Invoicing and Inventory (Manufacturing)

    The tracking inventory really needs an upgrade. At the moment the only way to reduce the amount of inventory is by creating an expenses invoices. However, our customers do not want an invoice with a heap of lines and 10 pages long. We do everything in projects and add our inventory there. Why does this not automatically reduce our inventory count ??? And then if the item is removed from the project because it wasn't used then this would increase our inventory count back again.

    At the moment projects invoicing options could be improved…
