  1. When you look at the PAID invoices it shows years of invoices and would be nice if you could archive previous years. If a person is no longer affiliated with your company and they had previous invoices they cannot be archived but the person can be archived.

  3. A drop-down list when adding a Task under a project for an Estimated expense or an Expense. We only see a list when we type something. What if we want to see the items in alphabettical order starting with the 1st item?

  6. currently we put all of our mileage through as an expense claim and then make a bath payment once it is a certain amount, however when creating the batch payment, the report produced at the end just simply stated expense claim. this can be clicked to go in individually however it would be nice if the description for that expense could also be shown so that it produces a better overview of what is being paid. even if this is just an option to add different columns that it can be selected from, that would improve things.

  7. I have a particular client where we use tracking categories. We have set up a tracking category called jobs so hours and expenses can be allocated to these jobs. However, errors occur, and it would be great to be able to reallocate find and recode just like you can do with other times to move those hours or expense from one job to another.

  8. While it's nice to be able to enter a fixed value discount in our business we use % discounts only. We find the new quote discount field feature that requires a % for the discount or it defaults to $ amounts is causing us to make errors. This is especially confusing as it use to default to % and the invoice still does. I have a couple of suggested updates:
    - Create a site wide setting to choose whether your default is $ or %.
    - Include a dollar symbol when it is a fixed amount discount to highlight it's…

  9. Tick boxes on the awaiting payment bills screen to remain after editing a bill in Xero.

    Before the new update to Xero, it was possible while ticking bills in the (Bills - Awaiting Payment Tab) - for a batch payment, to edit any that might have a slight error. For instance if you had ticked about 100 bills and noticed one had the wrong amount, it used to be possible to edit it, use the back arrow to go back to your Awaiting Payment Tab and all the bills you had previously ticked, were still ticked (or highlighted in blue).…

  10. Is it possible to add more than the two exiting options of "Bank Fee " & "Adjustments" under the reconciling adjustments in the bank rec

  12. We would like to be able to go next and back through GST periods/returns on xero. At the moment you have to got back into the GST report tab to see the next/previous period. You should just be able to click next or pervious off to the side

  14. Reports: Project Financials
    Include the ref of bills and invoices as an optional column on this report. At present the only way to include this information is to re type it into the description of each line on a bill or invoice, which is not efficient.

  15. To deposit a payment directly to a supplier's bank account is an important method to process bill payment for any business. I believe that you know EFT 80 Byte File Layout mandatories in Canada, but the batch file export from Xero does not meet the requirement. You should have a plan to service EFT ASAP.

  17. If you have a credit note (for either a bill or an invoice) with an attachment, you cannot set the preview window for the attachment to lock to the left side. It remains floating only and gets in the way when trying to enter data.

    This function is available when entering/editing invoices or bills, but it is not currently an option for credit notes.

  18. Put a green border around the discuss box (in the dashboard reconcile tab) if there is a potential matched docket from queries so you don't have to click to the match button for every item to see if the ones you have processed were a match.

    Thanks for starting this idea! Did you see last week that our Product Team released an update that helps speed things up on Xero Me Mobile? They’ve enabled the ability to copy previous time entries in start-end timesheets on a per day basis. To do this, enter your time entries as usual for the first day in your timesheet, and then select the “copy from [date]” option when adding a new time entry for a consecutive day.
    The team are interested in further exploring improvements in this area, but at this stage there are no firm plans to progress this idea. They’ve got their eyes on the ground though - closely monitoring your ideas, votes and comments.

  20. Invoice setting: There should be the ability to remove the Item Name from the Item column when creating or editing invoices.
    Currently it is not possible to show only the items code.
