  1. Purchase Orders Send Email Features.
    This is to request the Product team to please also update the Send Email settings for the Purchase Order to make work efficient and clear to multiple recipients if they are only on CC.
    Attached the screenshot of the latest update Xero had made for Invoice Send Email in which the CC and BCC is in the sending option. It is very helpful for the multiple receiver where in the business communication, we need to CC multiple emails than putting every email in the sending to space.

  2. When processing a batch payment report on Xero and exporting to excel to upload to the bank, separate the Account number and sort code - it currently processing them as one number omitting any zero's and this creates an incorrect bank account number, so makes the report useless.

  4. Discovered an error. In the customer settings, when placing 0 in the field for “Days invoice when due” shows an error, despite Xero using 0 when calculating when an invoice is due.

  5. Would like to be able to add users with only access to invoicing, without them seeing any other part of Xero. This would be a huge benefit so I can have team members invoice customers without seeing company financials.

  7. When creating a new Invoice and you want to add some billable expenses that you have assigned to the contact in the Bills section, I want to be able to give my clients an itemized bill, the new invoicing option is defaulted to add all items as one line.
    We default to all invoices as itemized, Yes I can select this as an option but would like the ability to select the other as the default option.
    Maybe Xero could create a custom option cookie that would allow customers to select some default settings that make there Xero work better…

    Hi Katrina, when you say you'd like to bulk attach documents - would this be adding the same attachments to multiple bills at once or bulk adding attachments within a singular draft bill?

  9. I just started using this program and the ability to close the left-hand menus is needed, at minimum the ability to adjust the column width.

    When the "Folders" and "Docs" menus are both open constantly with no way of adjusting them, I lose almost 1/2 the screen.

    The webpage is basically broken up into 4 columns, yet there is no way to adjust any of them for a better user experience or easy viewing of documents. Currently it is impossible to view all of the information needed for individual docs without moving the document around a bunch. It's a very…

  11. Bill Payments - be able to create a make payment for a set amount which is a part payment of a supplier statement and send remittance for a part payment for multiple bills on a statement

    Client/business receives multiple bills from supplier, and pays 30 days after end of the month, they may want to pay installments of say $5,000 off the statement which will be applied against multiple bills including a part payment. At the moment there is no way to create this payment and send a remittance to the supplier, we have to wait until the payment appears…

  12. Similar to QB, in the date field, use hot keys to move quickly without all the clicks.

    Use the "+" to go up one day at a time, the "-" key to go down one date at a time.

    Use "w" to go to the beginning of the current WeeK and "k" to go to the end of the current week.

  14. When you view invoices under activity within a contact it would be immensely helpful to see the description of the invoice as a column because it is very complicated and frustrating to have to open each invoice under a contact before finding the one you are looking for.

  15. Average Employee Numbers in the Year

    As part of preparing accounts, the average employee number is often required. If this could be generated within Xero that would save time collating the number of employees per month and working out an average for the year. It could subsequently be used as working out the amount of revenue attributable to each staff member.

  16. Currently all users that can create manual journals can also approve journals. Xero should please design a feature that limits the standard user role to - can create draft journals - while advisors can draft and post journals. This feauture is already in use for invoicing. Some users can draft invoices while others can draft and approve.

  17. UK Payroll - when an unscheduled pay run has been posted for a period it stops any updates to salaries even when a full payroll hasn't been posted. It makes sense that a full run would stop updates but only people included in an unscheduled pay run should be barred from having updates applied. For instance, with an unscheduled run posted I can't adjust starting dates or salaries for staff, and these may have changed after the unscheduled run was posted.

  18. Is it be possible to add a section to 'find and recode' where you change status from approved back to draft? It would really help if hubdoc imports a number of documents incorrectly - tthen the fix can be done on bulk transactions

  20. A flag which shows when the profit & loss figure plus brought forward retained earnings does not add up to the retained earnings on the reports. This is usually due to a mapping issue where a figure is causing a transposition error. It only seems to flag if you opt to include a statement of changes to equity. Seems like there should be a more obvious flag for this issue to ensure it is not missed.

    Also perhaps a reconciliation between the profit & loss figure in the company accounts versus the Xero business, appreciate this is likely to be…
