  1. Transaction "History and notes": show in the title how many notes exist. This will avoid having to click the drop down arrow head to check every time. e.g. "History and notes (3 entries)".

  3. When using the new Check box. 'Use as billing address'. If you type in the address afterwards and edit the address. It deletes the the selected checkbox. 'use as billing address'

    Just frustrating as you have to go back in and recheck.

    Hi Candice, timestamps in your org are set by the timezone set in the organisation's financial settings. From your idea here, would you want to be setting this manually or based off another setting somewhere?

  5. Would it be possible to create an annual CIS subcontractor statement, showing the Gross, CIS deductions and net payments for all 12 months in the tax year please?

  6. Invoice Only User SHOULD have access to "send and print" feature once the Purchase Order were approved. To address this concern, a user should have an access level of Invoice Only + Purchases, however, changing the permission to this level, the inputs made by other users, which might be confidential and unnecessarily to be seen by others, are compromised. I would like to request to add this feature (send and print) for the Invoice Only users.

  7. I've been using your Bill.com integration for the last couple of weeks and I already had to reach out to Xero support twice to make a simple change in Bill.com settings. This requires the user (me) to open a case in Xero which subsequently has Xero support open a case in Bill.com (and then Xero support going back and forth between Bill.com and the user).

    There should be either:

    1. a settings page within Xero for all the Bill.com settings and variables or,

    2. Ability to have credentials on Bill.com to update the Bill.com settings.

  8. Income Accounts by Contact monthly Comparison
    We have a requirement to report certain income lines by contacts. I can run an Account Transactions report and summarise by Contact, but there is no “Compare with” availability.
    The Income & Expenses by Contact report is available but only reports total Income and or Expenses. It allows for monthly comparison, but there is no availability to select specific Account Codes.
    Are you aware of any reports that may be customised to fulfil our requirement or could you develop such a report?
    Ideally, we’d like to reports by contact with the contact account number…

  9. Under the old invoicing, when an invoice was emailed to a client for the first time, the email address used for that first invoice automatically populated the Contact card's email address at the time the invoice was sent.
    This meant that if the invoice was unpaid, the reminder would be able to go to the same person who received the invoice.
    However the new invoicing doesn't automatically populate the Contact's email address.
    This means an extra step is needed to ensure the Contact card is updated.
    If this step isn't taken, then the automated reminders don't go out.

    Hi Jo, interesting one here as some users would like the contact to be update but also others that wouldn't. It'll be good to get a sense of users that would like to see the contact record updated with the email used when sending from your idea here.

    No plans to change this behaviour at present but we'll share if there's any news.

  10. Hello,

    I am preparing a set of accounts which includes investment property which requires fair value adjustments to account for the change in value. When I have dealt with this in previous accounting software there have been codes in the chart of accounts for a separate revaluation reserve account where the change in value is posted to as well as in the investment property value code and change in value on the P&L.

    So on the statement of change in equity it shows the profit and loss reserve and a revaluation reserve.

    According to Xero Support, Xero doesn't have any…

  11. After the customer accepts the quote, we need to book the work in. It doesn't get invoiced until the work is complete. It would be helpful if we could add an "Expected Start Date" to quotes after they've been accepted, or at least be able to mark it as "Booked".

  12. Adviser year-end account templates - it would be great if when allocating account codes to categories in the P&L/BS, they also updated in automatically in the cash flow statements and the notes 1-4.

    This would both save time and also remove the chance of human error - there is always the possibility of accidentally allocating differently.

  15. It would be nice to have a reminders function for Suppliers just like with Customers.

    We work with a very long list of Suppliers in some of our clients' companies. It could be a nice feature to have scheduled reminders go out to some suppliers that you always have to chase down for invoices/statements.

  16. Make archiving and restoring contacts more intuitive and user-friendly.

    Option for archiving contacts should be select from drop-down menu or click on "the 3 dots" and select.

    Having to find an historical invoice allocated to an archived contact in order to restore them is super-unhelpful and counterintuitive. MUCH better to include archived contacts in Contacts options and include a "Restore" option via "press and hold", drop-down or the 3 dots.

    Hi Bradley, have you tried archiving and restoring contacts from the Contacts list? From here simply select the contact/s you'd like to archive and you'll see the option at the top of the list turn blue for you to click.

    When you'd like to restore a contact you'll find the Archive tab as an option from this same screen, where you can click on the contact to open it's record and there is a blue Restore option in the top right.

Currently when selecting invoices to include in a batch deposit you can only select what's on the current screen, when you click to the next screen you lose the selections you made on the previous screen. I have thousands of invoices awaiting payment, even with the max display amount of 200, it's 30+ screens to scroll through. I have to create multiple batch deposits in order to capture everything that's being taken to the bank that day. Please add a search field that will save and allow multiple invoices to be included in batch deposits.

  19. Invoice reminders are currently "all or nothing". I dont want to chase my good clients with automated messages from Xero becuse it upsets them but I do want some of my clients to have auto reminders about invoices about to become due and invoices overdue, those who generally are bad payers. In the same way we have email and invoice templates can we have invoice reminder templates and when we raise an invoice be prompted to apply a reminder template (or not).     Hi Maresa, when you say you'd like to add Location would this be based on a Tracking category you've set up in the organisation? If so, you could add this when you create the original transaction(bill) the asset is raised from.
