  2. Most businesses use certain payment terms, like NET 30, NET 45, NET 60, NET 90 days. When invoicing businesses with different payment terms, there should be a faster way to calculate the due date, rather than asking Google "45 days from today" or "60 days from today" and entering that as the due date.

    It would be great to create pre-defined NET payment terms as part of the Due Date dropdown in Invoices. That way it would instantly adjust the due date based on the payment term selected for that invoice.

It would be great if you could customise what text is displayed with placeholders on the client end, for example, for the [online quote/invoice link] options, I'd rather they could be displayed simply the other end, instead of the long web link which looks a bit spammy...ie 'please access your quote here' - and it's 'here' that links - as a normal hyperlink would

  4. Can we get a regular balance sheet in the Advisor (management) packs?

    For some reason it provides a summarised version, with statutory lines only (eg Fixed Assets, Trade debtors etc) but not the TB account by account.

    "More" even has an "Account codes" option, which doesn't work 😕

  5. In Recurring invoice templates provide date placeholders in numeric form, so you can format as YYYY MM, e.g. 2024 12, 2025 01, 2025 02 etc. Rather than the most similar option of 2024 December. This would also be beneficial within the decriptions of the lines to show dates from/to e.g 2024-12-03 to 2025-01-02 (for a monthly subscribtion or similar), instead of it populating as 2024-December-03 to 2025-January-02.

  7. When you've filtered to view a certain set of submitted expenses, if you click on one to review & approve, when you go back to the main page you're back to square one. Often I want to view and approve submissions in the filtered groupings to ensure there are no duplicates or the same journey is being marked the same distance etc, but can't do this without resetting the filters each time. Annoying as our CRM system saves your filter search option each time until you sign out, which is a really useful web feature that I would recommend Xero…

  8. If the VAT201 report endpoint is added to the Xero API, it could save businesses doing the reconciliation for their clients and their tax returns. The report could then be saved directly to an excel document based on specific dates and this could lead to hours of time being saved for the people doing the recon.

  10. Can we please add a company logo on the payslip email?

    At the moment it just has the 'Xero me' background saying "your payslip is attached" ect. It would be nice to be able to swap that image with our company logo thanks.

  11. We need to have the ability to add an additional column to the Sales Invoice Template.
    When we are already utilising the Item and Description column, we for example need to add a Barcode field as well. I would presume that this is a frequent requirement for other businesses.
    In addition, there should be a specific PO field in addition to the Reference field.

  12. When entering a quote, we have to enter an account code for every line of a quote. If we type one in incorrectly (for example entering code 2000 instead of 200), then Xero opens a link to add account codes. The problem is that this does this in the same window. You cannot go back to your 38 line quote that you spent nearly a half hour creating because Xero didn't open a new window, no they put the link to new account codes in the same window as the quote.   15. At the moment Xero doesn't auto calculate the depreciation rate from the effective life. This means when we run the depreciation report the rate column shows up as blank if we've entered the effective life into the asset register rather than the rate. We should be able to enter the effective life and Xero auto calculates the depreciation rate for the depreciation report.

  16. In the bank account settings, add an optional data field to enter in the Overdraft limit on a bank account. Then on the dashboard screen, show the net available balance of current bank balance + the undrawn Overdraft limit.

    Purpose - to save the user from having to manually calculate how much is available to make supplier/payroll payments or login to internet banking prior to check.

    Should also be a simple feature to add.

  17. I would like to submit a feature request for the Statement of Account (SOA) report. Currently, the SOA allows for downloading the entire account summary for a contact, but it lacks the ability to filter and download specific invoices based on types or any other granular filtering or customization.

    For example, in my organization, clients sometimes use multiple revenue streams. Invoices are categorized by these revenue streams. There are instances where my clients only need the SOA for one particular revenue stream.

  19. I wonder if it is possible to implement the following simple change to Hubdoc. Currently, when an invoice is downloaded from Hubdoc, the file name is complied as <supplier name><date><amount>. It would be much better to replace <amount> with an invoice number. It often happens the payment batches are being sent to authorisers outside Xero, so an ability to provide a list of sorted files would be great. It also makes an invoice search outside Xero much easier.

  20. Many of my clients are partnerships and trade using the partners initials e.g. J & J Doe but on their reports it displays as %26 and on emails that they are sending with sales invoices, it displays as "& amp;" meaning that when I save reports or they send their invoices, this has to be changed. Having worked in a software house previously, I know that this is a programming issue and one that should have a relatively simple fix so can you please look at this.
