  1. Add a send remittance button once a payment is made via the new Direct Bank Transfer Feature.

    I previousley made batch payments via Wise and once the payments went through there was a button to send remittances. This feature is not available when using the new Direct Bank Transfer option. You have to maunally send each remittance advice from the banking screen which is a poor use of time and there is the chance that a remittance advise will be missed or sent twice.

  2. Branding Themes (in Invoice Settings) that are templates for Invoices, Statements, Purchase Orders, Quotes, Remittances, you name it, can only currently be 'deleted' when no longer required (ie, if a staff member resigns). BUT, individual staff themes have generally been attached to a transaction and once that 'theme' is deleted, you lose the history/audit capability. Being able to ARCHIVE instead will maintain the integrity of all the 'theme' template data it was use for.

  3. For clients or businesses in Indonesia, the operating amounts are in 14 digits. Currently XERO only able to have it at 12 digits only. Please implement this so that we can attract more Indonesia user into XERO platform.

  4. Can the display width of the invoice items be adjusted to fit the screen. For example: Lengthen the date, hide or shorten Expected Date, hide empty spaces...

  5. Provide a setup option for a new bill to default to the previous month in order to match the accounting period for the goods and services being provided.
    Invoices usually arrive from suppliers in the first week or so of the month following the provision of service or receipt of goods. Therefore a new bill often needs to be entered for the previous month.
    A new bill currently defaults to the current date, and when a large batch of bills are to be entered, it can be tedious and time consuming to change the bill date each time.

  6. Employees have requested their net pay to be paid across more than four bank accounts, though this function is not available. Increasing the number of bank accounts would assist employees and those processing payroll.

  7. Need the option to customise the tax years for the entities who don't have March 20XX balance date e.g. December balance date in financial settings.

    This still shows the annual certificate as at 31st March.

  8. There is no functionality to retroactively add or edit break times into an employees submitted timesheet. It would be good to be able to edit or add a break time on the timesheet if they forget before approving it.

  10. When using the new Avalara auto taxes, the options are now show every line item tax rate, even if it's except. This is not right. Tax Exempt lines should show Exempt, just like they did with the manual tax entry. My clients are confused why every line item shows a rate rate, even if it isn't being taxed. In the business AND accounting world this is not right. Only items that are being taxed should show tax rate.

  11. On the Xero mobile app, it would be great to be able to search Products & Services. If a customer wants a price on an inventory item, I have to create an invoice or quote, then add an item to see a price. A Product & Services link off the Dashboard would be very helpful.

  12. We have multiple people working on drafting and approving invoices. It would be nice to be able to @people and they receive a notification in History & Notes section of the Bills to Pay to discuss amendments, corrections etc.

  13. Notify Client when reports are published to Xero! Each month I publish client financial statements to the clients Xero company. It would be incredible it I could send a message through Xero to notify clients that their reports have been published! Life - changing - Incredible!

  15. On the new invoicing, when additional columns are selected, a scrollbar is added to the invoice layout and interrupts the smooth capture process. Having to manually scroll from one side to the other to view details is not ideal.

    Consider either auto-adjusting the column widths or allow for the automatic expansion of the invoice layout width when additional columns are selected. This way, users could view all necessary details without the need for manual scrolling.

    Hi all, we thank you for all sharing detail on your experience when using new invoicing in Xero. Taking this on board our team have been reviewing the line item grid where you enter details in new invoicing. We have work underway to improve and address points raised such as providing a more compact layout so you can see more at once, showing full account and tracking names, and more direct options to reduce clicks and steps in common actions.

    For the time being, small adjustments can be made to your computer scale or browser zooming to see more detail at once, although we understand this is not the ideal solution.

    I'll return to let you know when we're closer to release and can share more of the changes.

  16. Is it possible to run reports and have the notes section as an additional column option? As currently have to click into each individual invoices to see the note

  17. It is quite often that we need to print a proper record of a transaction for approval or record keeping purposes. (such as spend/receive money, invoice/bill/credit note)
    We have to print from the transaction screen because we need the printout to show the GL account, source type and tax rate name etc.
    However the printing layout is very messy and unreadable, and does not look like a proper record from Xero.
    Is it possible to make the layout more organized or more similar to what is shown on the screen?
    I have attached the printout of the transactions for reference.

  18. When I pull the Bank Batch file to pay Wages, I would like the amount for PAYE and any other Taxes or transferred deductions to be paid out on the day with the Payroll. This removed it from the business immediatley and makes sure payment is always up to date.

  20. It would be great if there is a way to quickly view all the pay runs for a specific employee, without the need to go through 'Pay employees' under the 'Payroll' section and opening every pay run individually.
