  2. Could we have a bulk date change please for when we are ready to send a lot of draft invoices or any in awaiting approval (and in the repeating 'payment due date' section)
    we rely on the repeating function but its a pain to go in and change them one at a time when there's loads, especially when they copy over into draft aswell, its a mammoth task

    i.e also an option for '30 days payment due upon receipt of invoice' 😃

  3. An option to see how many 'days' due in preview section for the new version of invoicing

    Could we have an option in xero please to select 'due 30 days' from when we approve/send an invoice ?
    In the classic invoicing when you preview it (before approving and sending it) it would always say how many 'days' it is due as well as the 'due date' this helps as we expect payment within 30 days of the customer receiving the invoice not 30 days from the invoice date.

  4. When viewing historic employees, being able to view the next historic employee would be great, rather than having to come back out of history employees, which only shows the historic employee you have selected, with a drop down list of current employees only, then you have to go back in again to employees/history again to look up the next historic employee

  5. When a credit note is approved, the next page that pops up is the Allocate Credit Balance screen. This screen does not state who the customer/supplier is, and when creating multiple credits, it can be hard to recall who each one is to. It would be great to have the Allocate Credit Balance screen displaying the contact of the credit (the reference would also be great, but I have already voted for that one separately).

    With the new invoicing re-vamp this would be a great opportunity to increase the information on the Allocate Credit Balance screen too.

  7. Hi I need a detailed report like the Payroll transaction list report that also includes the account code the amount was posted too. I want to reconcile the journal posting to the Indvidual's so i can see who is incorrectly setup.

  8. I have one employee that is paid the same amount every week, it would be great if I could set the pay run to post and file itself every week until further notice. I have an automatic bank payment set up so this would make it so easy - and more importantly it doesn't rely on me remembering.

  12. Currently you can only view the official submission receipts and their associated IRmark via an XML file. It would be nice to see this in a more user friendly manner and without all the associated coding tags and data.

  14. It makes no sense to always automatically change the description, price etc when the inventory code is changed.

    Make this "feature/bug!" optional, very simple to implement and makes XERO more flexible.

    Hi David, could you provide a bit more detail of where you're finding this behaviour? It might even be best to raise this with our specialists at Xero Support who can get a closer look in.

    Editing an inventory items Item Code can be done independently so you shouldn't have to update the description or price.

  15. This idea has been raised again and again but XERO isn't listening!!!

    The demo company is a great idea, but it makes no sense to automatically reload all the "duff" data every 30 days.

    It's VERY simple to achieve a very useful and flexible feature, by....
    1) Be able to clear all the data in the Demo Company
    2) Make the 30 day reload of useless data optional
    3) Enable cloning of an existing organisation

    We need to be able to test imports, features etc. and be able to return the "demo company" to EMPTY and if required to restore…

  16. When you view a payrun, the breakdown at the top shows: Earnings, Taxes, Superannuation, Net Pay, Status & Payment Date.
    When you view the details for any of the employees there is an additional field for Reimbursements at the top of the screen.
    It would be great if the reimbursements total was also shown on the pay runs summary screen to quickly review and identify the total.
    Especially when the clients run their own payroll and we are just reconciling.

  17. Right now it's not possible to remove the Capital Gain line from the disposal journal when the sales price is more than the original purchase price.

    This means, that if you have a motor vehicle that you sold for higher than it's purchase price, the Fixed Asset register will not let you dispose of this asset without recording a capital gain - even though motor vehicles have no capital gains tax on them.

    This issue needs to be fixed.

  20. Management Report: Be able to save individual reports in the management report as custom reports. Currently only the pack can be saved as a custom report. If I have edited the profit and loss I cannot save this specific report to be used in other management packs.
