  2. The sort feature in Cash Coding is great, however, not all bank feeds are. I often find I need to remove all the excess data imported in the bank feed before I can sort by payee.
    It would be really useful if the changes I make in Cash Coding could be saved so I can work through a page then save.
    I know, in a perfect world it would all be imported through Hub Doc, and clients wouldn't put personal transactions through the business or mix receipts from more than one of their businesses. Until we reach that stage the…

Within Products and Services when items are set up that aren't invoiceable costs, and therefore the "Sell" box unticked, when they are allocated as to Projects these items don't show as "Non-Chargeable" costs as they should do, they show as "% Mark-up" costs. Therefore, when going to "Invoice Tasks and Expenses", they appear in the list of potentially invoiceable items.

    Therefore, each expense item has to be edited in each individual project and switch it from "% Mark-up" to "Non-Chargeable. Such costs should automatically come through as "Non-Chargeable".

    Also, "Find and Recode" feature doesn't recode the Product and Services type…

  4. If I want to change the Payment Frequency for Superannuation from quarterly to monthly, I currently have to do it for each and every employee individually, A fair waste of time because there are many employees on the list to change, but I've done it. When it becomes mandatory in 2024 to pay all employees fortnightly, I'm hoping to be able to 'Select All' employees, and select to change the Payment Frequency' from Monthly to Fortnightly. Do you know if this has been discussed or is likely to become an option for us?

  6. Ability to reject a Draft Supplier Invoice and send a email to the supplier with why their Invoice was rejected.

    To often, I receive invoices from Suppliers of whom have forgotten Purchase Order details or have missing information.

    There is obviously the option to Approve an Invoice, nut nothing to reject.
    I would like a function where I can Reject an Supplier Invoice and respond to the Supplier with why Invoice was rejected and this information is stored against the supplier and shown as a note on the Supplier History or.

  7. According to different awards Time off in Lieu is suppose to expire in 6 months time if not used. Currently you can only bank and take Time off in Lieu. It would be great if Xero could automatically expire hours not used as this is a common practice in many employee Awards.

  9. can you please add columns for customer account number and VAT number to invoice export data sheet? this should be a simple add as so much of the customer data already is there. it makes business analysis much better. it is far too cumbersome to track customer profitability otherwise.

  10. My client has started using Projects which I'm finding not easy to use.

    We would like to assign bills directs to projects in Hubdoc.

    I also want to be able to give my client a list of bills that haven't been assigned. I can see this in bills to pay but its not printable/ exportable and there is no report that will give me this information.

    I would also like to include direct spends from bank feed instead of having to create a bill just so we can see its not assigned

  12. Invoice Only : User role - I would like more options assigned to this role. So they can issue payments by cheque. Similar to an accounts payable role. Currently, this user cannot issue cheques, even though Xero states this user can pay bills.

  13. When selecting different accounts from the dropdown list in reports, the accounts that have been selected are not easy to locate without scrolling through the list (which sometimes can be a large number).

    It would be helpful to have the accounts that already been ticked at the top of the list, so that they can easily be unticked if need be.

  14. Please stop Suppliers Bills from being published in Xero if the bill date is prior to the period lock date!!!!

    I only found out last night that Hubdocs will still publish a supplier bill with a date prior to the Xero lock date, this is crazy and I'm unsure why anyone would want Hubdocs to do this.

    If you could add the option in Hubdocs to stop bills from being published in Xero prior to the lock date that would be awesome as it will ensure the integrity of end of period reports.

  15. We have bureau licences with read only access for clients - however when the bank feed drops they are unable to refresh without upgrading. As they have no other involvement it does not make sense for them to have upgraded access - can we allow them to do this on a slightly improved access level please?

    Hi Esteon, you're right that it's not currently possible to Filter by the Related account column atm. It'd be good to understand what you;re trying to look at when running this report atm.

    Rather than filter by related account, could you select the Account that you'd be looking to filter by and then click the Related account header to order the transactions by the account they came from?

  17. Please provide better organization tools to published reports archive such as being able to sort published reports by report end date (cut-off date)!

    Sometimes we have to go back and reperform a client's bank reconciliation because they don't always know what they are doing, or new transactions cleared in the subsequent period affect previously published report. It doesn't take long to see the published reports archive get disorganized and hard to find a published report.

  18. I would like to see the specifics of the contacts activity on the main page of the contact. Currently you need to click on each transaction to see where the transaction was allocated. It would be nice to see it all on one page. It would be helpful if it was editable from that page as well. Instead you have to click again to edit the transaction. Currently in Quickbooks you can view/edit from the main client screen. I always appreciate less clicks. :D

  19. Sales Tax lines in Suppliers bills - CAD
    When a bill is posted as draft, Xero displays the sales tax based on the percentage of the tax and not the tax type/name. This makes it harder to review and compare and confirm with the supplier's invoice which always displays the federal tax (GST) and provincial tax (PST) in separate lines. It is even more problematic when there are more than one taxable portion in the same invoice (a portion GST and another portion GST/PST). It would be great to show the tax type in the draft mode too.

It would be amazing if Xero could add the feature when doing a monthly bank rec to be able to choose certain transactions that are putting the month end balance off and may need to be excluded and put to the next month because of posting differences from bank statements. It would be a life saver!!
