  2. Instead of having to scroll through the account transactions / bank statements to get to the bottom in order to change the page number you are on. Either having this bar at the top as well or also having this bar move wiht you so you can always change the page as needed.

    Hi community, while we're continuing to keep a close eye on the support for this idea here, we don't have any plans in the near term to control the naming of files sent form Xero.

    Just to share, though appreciate many will already be aware, once the file is received and downloaded by the recipient the file name can be manually edited on their local device.

    If there are any plans made we'll share here.

  4. It would be great to have a Direct Debit flag on the Bills area. Especially on the ones waiting payment.
    That would allow us to know if a bill that is waiting payment is Direct Debit and we don't need to act, just wait to reconcile.

  5. The print date that now appears at the bottom of reports is useful for some reports and circumstances, and I understand this date is now turned off for Published Reports.

    However we do not 'publish' our financial statements - we send our financial statements to clients in a practical and informative pack instead. This is a more efficient, professional and streamlined approach for us.

    Showing the print date on these financial statements is of concern, due to various issues including the lag time between preparing and approving the report. It is also not ideal when preparing the directors resolution and…

    Hi team, while this may be something we look to do in the future unfortunately we were not able to move along with the work the team had started exploring here.

  6. In the classic invoicing, when I am approving my invoices draft then I click "Approve and view next", it goes in the next invoice subsequent number.

    In the new invoicing version, when I click on "Approve and view next", it goes directly to the last invoice number instead of the next one. I have a lot of drafts to approve and it has to be in the right order.

    For this reason, I stay with the classing invoicing. I might consider switching back to new invoicing if this issue can be resolve in the future.

    Hi all 👋 thanks for sharing this idea and contributing your feedback on how it would help save time and reduce delivery errors. This has all been sent to and considered by our product teams.

    I wanted to jump in here to share that this is a feature that our team are looking to develop in Purchase Orders in the long term - there are a few other pieces of work lined up before. We'll shift to Under review and keep you updated of any progress, here.

    In the meantime, one way to make the physical address the default delivery address when creating purchases orders is by using a Custom DOCX branding theme, and either use the relevant merge fields, or even enter the default address in plain text on the template. You might then have a separate ‘normal’ theme if you want some orders to go to the Postal…

  10. PO and Remittance advice - separate email address - ability to select different email address for sending PO and remittance advice to supplier. Currently able to add mutiple email addresses to contact, but then required to remove the unwanted email address when sending a PO or remittance advice. This can be labourious when creating a batch payment.

    Hi Lilly, with Xero expenses you can upload a copy of a receipt and have it auto capture the contents to create an expense through the app - See more on this here

    Is there a reason you'd prefer to email receipts to your org over the existing method? Will help when sharing back with the team. 

  12. Xero doesn't currently have the option for reporting PAYG Income Tax Instalment on a monthly basis. Could Xero look into providing this option in the monthly BAS Activity Statement reporting.

    Hi everyone, with the recent changes in Xero Product ideas, we will shift this idea to Not in pipeline to set the expectation here.

    While a direct option to restore or unwind an organisation to a previous date in time isn't in our plans, as previously mentioned to confirm - Xero performs daily backups of customer data to protect against data corruption and hosting service failures. However, these backups are not available for users to restore their organisation to a previous state.

    To reiterate from my last response, most actions in Xero are reversible (for example Remove & Redo on bank transactions) and our help article on Xero Central  explains some of these options that can help with needs expressed in this conversation.

    The History & Notes report can be highly useful to review actions recently made so you can 'undo' these.

    Hi everyone, thanks for all the support for a bank feed with Aldermore Bank. We are aware of the interest here, and are currently exploring the possibility of this feed.

    As some of you have noted, the best option for now is to manually import your bank statements into Xero. This will help you keep your accounts up-to-date. You can find instructions on how to do this in our Xero Central article here: Import a bank statement.

    Another way you can help is by letting Aldermore Bank know you’d like to see them integrate with Xero. We've found that banks are more likely to prioritise building a feed when they hear directly from their own customers.   19. Please enable assigning manual journals to projects and for project reports to also include the account name / account code.

    The benefits from using tracking categories far outweigh that of Xero project if features like manual journal and account transactions report is not able to reflect or is not consistent with the use of Xero projects.

    Please also consider producing a warning if project name is being duplicated. Another thing that should be critically considered is to include projects under the Find & Recode feature.

    Hi team, while we don't have plans for adding a field for supplier to Inventory items, right now you could run the Payable invoice Detail report to see the purchases of items, and which supplier(s) they've been bought from.

    You can also Group/Summarise the report by Item Code or Contact, depending on which you want to see together.
