Repeating Invoices - ability to copy existing repeating invoice.
Reasons:

An option to increase the price for ALL products in the database by a percentage.

AU Payroll - Allowances not reportable as W1 to be included in STP filings
STP2 Allowances. Not reportable at W1 should push that information through with STP, but it doesn't. Using reimbursements as a work around is not good enough - better syncing is needed.

Bills - Bulk approve and bulk edit accounts on draft bills
I forward invoices to Bills via the email feature.
I then batch process these at regular intervals.
There could be 50 to 100 bills here.
I have set default purchase contacts for all these contacts yet none of these drafts use that until I go into the bill for manual approval.
This wastes a lot of time as I have to go through each bill 1 by 1.Allow me to bulk edit the accounts on Draft Bills and / or use the default account setting for that contact.

Reports - Add report with all bank statement lines
A report showing all Bank Statement lines for (Filtered) bank accounts and date ranges.
This report could be used to track transfers that go from Bank Account A to B to C.
Should include User created statement lines and reconciliation status. Additional details such as matched transactions would also be useful.13 votes -
Fixed Assets - Allow for variable depreciation for Software Development Pool
Currently the custom Pool creation option does not allow for the specific depreciation requirements of a software development pool - First year to be Nil, the second , third and forth years at 30% and the final fifth year of 10%. Without this function the depreciation for these assets needs to be calculated manually.

Reports - Fix report header formatting for reports longer than 1 page
When a report runs over a single page, the header formatting does not pull through to pages 2 forward. It pulls through the report name in small writing at the top of the page and leaves a large spacing at the top of page, as the attached screenshot shows.
This product idea is to fix this bug so that either the report name header formatting pulls through to all pages within the report (preferable), or at least the empty space is removed.

Credit notes - Tick box to allocate full amount
Instead of tying in the amounts, what about adding a tick box next to the value where you can select the full amount shown and only if a lesser amount is to be used then have to type in the value.

Invoice templates - Set defaults for show/hide fields
When creating/editing an invoice with the new style, you can select fields to show/hide. We would like to be able to change these and set the changes as default - at the moment you have to go in and select the ones you would like to see every time you are editing an invoice. The main one for us is the discount column - we would like to see this on every invoice. Having this functionality to show/hide is good, but just don't want to change this every time.

As you may have seen in other updates we're working on a new line item grid that will encompass a few enhancements we know our customers want to see, and will also include an improvement to the behaviour of the show/hide fields so the options you select will be retained. Project Summary report - "Project to Date" time period option
We often need to generate Project reports for the time period 'Project to Date'.
This isn't an option in the Project Summary report. Can this be built-in as a further standard option?

Profit & Loss Detail Report - Option to expand account sections without having to rerun report.
A default "Profit & Loss Detail" report is a standard option in pretty much every other bookkeeping system I've worked in and necessary for many companies.
An additional option of running a standard P&L Report, but also being able to expand account sections to see the detail without opening a new report would be very useful for researching issues. It is tedious to continually run the report I need, only to click on one line item and then have to go back and run the original report again to continue researching.

Account transaction report - Remove 'overall total of all accounts' when run for a single account
New Account transaction report - remove the totals when generating the report for a single account.
The new report adds a report total at the end of the selected accounts which is a total of the debit or credit transactions for 'all' accounts selected.
When only one account is selected it still shows a total - this is in addition to the total for the transactions on the account itself so it shows total of transactions, closing balance and then total of transactions of all accounts selected. Contact - Ability to block creation of new invoice when invoices overdue
For now there's a option to block issuing invoice for customer which exceed a certain credit limit. Can we have more options to block a customer, like overdue invoices etc.?
13 votesAppreciate there are more settings that you'd like to expand the use of the Credit Limit for, Joyce.
In lieu of change in the direct feature atm, one way to prevent further invoices from being raised for a contact could be to set their limit to the amount of the invoice due which would stop all future invoices for the contact being raised.

Send invoice - Drop down to select email address
I normally send invoices to the main accounts email address and the person who actually ordered the service to let them know work is completed and invoiced. This was well supported in classic invoicing with a drop down list of the previous 6 invoices enabling to easily pick the appropriate person who ordered. This feature is not available in new invoicing and it is time consuming to search email address of the ordering person and copy to new invoice email, if this feature can be reinstated will be appreciated!

Bank rules - Run this rule on 'selected' bank accounts, instead of all or just one
It would be great to have the option when creating a bank rule to tick the bank accounts to run the rule on, as opposed to having ALL or just one. We often need to run the rule on say three of the five bank accounts, and are forced to set up three identical bank rules just so we can select each account, as we don't want to run the rule on all five accounts. This is particularly prevalent when using tracking categories. Some entities have different bank accounts for different areas of their business and when coding we'd like…
