  1. Bills to Pay UI - Visual Hierarchy

    the new update of the 'bills to pay' screen is great and has some very useful new QOL features but i think the current layout is quite difficult to read and should contain a similar visual hierarchy that the old style had.

    i have found myself focusing intently and trying to figure out where i am up to which could easily be fixed by a graphic designer adjusting fonts, weighting and alignment.

  2. The Discuss Tab should have a history trail showing the user and date that a comment was submitted.

    Also registered comments should not be editable or removed once submitted. The ideal situation would be if the tab took on the functionality of a chat system also allowing to tag a user of that particular company in a discussion prompting a notification to the user.

    Once a transaction is processed, the notes should be attached to the transaction in the history and notes section for future reference.

  6. Would really like the option to have a second layer to approve leave. I am a HR Manager and find it hard when the manager approves leave verbally and I do not get notified until later. I would like to see the option for HR or Finance to get a notification or get the option to approve prior to the manager so we can manage the employee leave status.

  7. The History and Notes in Advanced Settings does not include the action of Emailing (or Sending) an Invoice (or any other document), yet this action appears on the individual Invoice History.

  9. On the notes section to the financial reports in adviser reports templated under the groups, I would like the accounts selected to be in alphabetical order. At the moment the only option is to manually drag and drop - with a large number of accounts this is extremely time consuming. An automated function would assist.

  11. In Sage, we used to be able to run a report that allowed us to export all our employees hourly rates, so yearly pay rises were easy to plan from.
    There isn't a way to do this in Xero - so my suggestion is to have a payroll report, similar to the employee details report, that allows you to see all employees hourly rates.

    Aaah wait, apologies Christine - I see you're referring to adding a % on to a line item rather than discounting by a %.

    There is no way to do this at present - we have a somewhat similar idea for adding freight charges across here

    Instead, you could add these type of items as additional line items in the invoice, and use Xero's inbuilt calculator to determine what the % of the invoice total would be. 

    Amounts are field will help you control where the tax is applied. 

  13. Universal search should include Unreconciled Transactions Too.

    We often search the amount of spend money or bill in universal search but we cannot find the unreconciled transaction through the Universal Search.

  14. It would be great to have the option when creating a bank rule to tick the bank accounts to run the rule on, as opposed to having ALL or just one. We often need to run the rule on say three of the five bank accounts, and are forced to set up three identical bank rules just so we can select each account, as we don't want to run the rule on all five accounts. This is particularly prevalent when using tracking categories. Some entities have different bank accounts for different areas of their business and when coding we'd like…

  15. Xero Me app no longer allows entry of allowances. Previously employees have had ability to enter their hours and any allowances attached on their templates but apparently since the change to STP2 they have stopped this ability which is crazy. Seems to be no point in using Xerome.

    Seeing we have just spent hours ensuring our clients have mapped the allowances correctly to STP2 categories not sure why this has been removed. Pls vote to have returned.

  18. Automate Super to Starter and Standard Plans
    Its is a pain to add employees manually to ATO SBSCH and manually enter their super every quarter for accountants and bookkeepers.
    Please xero, add this feature to starter as well as standard plans so that we can do our job efficiently, and have more time to add more clients to xero so we both are in profit :).

    Hi Sharon, a few ideas rolled in the one here. While appreciate the detail it would not be possible for the teams to work on these widgets at once. 

    It would be good to get a view of the interest in each. 

    I've adjust the title of your idea here to reflect your first idea on reminders. We have another for the ability to show tax on the dashboard you may like to join & support, and welcome to start any others for particular widgets you'd like to see so we can begin to get a sense of the interest in each. 🙂

  20. If Xero or a partner organisation should encounter issues which may lead to data integrity issues, we should receive an email alert or some kind of notification.
    e.g. issues with Bank Feeds whereby there are duplicate or missing transactions. This has occurred a few times and we have only discovered, retrospectively, about the issue.

    We don't use Xero each day and certainly don't visit the Status page every day, such issues may well not come to light... by the time we visit the Status page a problem is quite likely to have been resolved and the status shows as OK,…

    Hi everyone, while not an alert as such, currently we're looking into enabling customers the ability to send us an alert if you're having trouble with a bank account feed in your organisation. This'd help us quickly identify issues with a particular feed. I'll round back to share more as this shapes out.
