  1. We would like to be able to go next and back through GST periods/returns on xero. At the moment you have to got back into the GST report tab to see the next/previous period. You should just be able to click next or pervious off to the side

  2. Is there the ability to make the cashflow report into an accrual report also so we have one report that can show p&l and capital expenditure with an area for adjusted accounts payable/receivable still outstanding and then projecting the bank balance.

    Currently we use a 12-month P&L and then have to do a separate balance sheet and it doesn't quite hit the mark.

We would like to be able to hide certain bank accounts on the dashboard so our employees who reconcile our bank accounts don't also see our payroll bank account (same with loan accounts, savings accounts etc) where the wages get paid from. I.e. the ability to edit the dashboard and 'hide' a bank account for certain employees/ Xero users. Currently as I understand, editing the dashboard is unique to the logged in user.

    Hi Heiko, even if you were to hide the bank account from the dashboard, if the user has permissions that enable them to access bank accounts they would be able to view this information somewhere else. 

    It sounds like you'd be interested in the idea across here asking for the ability to restrict access to bank accounts. Would this be correct? 

    If so, I'll merge to keep this feedback altogether. 

  5. To be able to view at a glance the 'period taken from a customer to pay invoices' from the Due Date to when the funds have reached the supplier's bank account. This is instead of exporting the Xero report in an excel sheet and then adding a formula to calculate the difference between the two dates. Surely with all the information already stored in the Xero account, this option shouldn't be too difficult to add. Thank you.

  6. Some of our customers have set discounts, however, some of our inventory items have very little to no margin and we would like to be able to block that inventory item from being discounted. Also, freight gets discounted on customers that have discounts saved to their account?

  7. My payment provider has recently started taking their fee percentage prior to the deposit, versus charging me at the end of the month.

    This has caused each of my deposits to mismatch the invoice total.

    Meaning, I need to add a bank fee on each individual transaction.

    It would be EXTREMELY useful to have a "default bank fee" or "default credit card fee" button that would:

    1) Remember the Contact as [Payment Provider] (currently have to type that in manually)
    2) Add a default description "Credit Card Processing Fee"
    3) Allocate the charge to an account [5150 - Credit Card…

  8. ATO Category pay items of Directors Fees should be able to be the Ordinary Earnings Rate for employees. Currently only the ATO category Ordinary Time Earnings can be the Ordinary Earnings rate for employees.
    Whilst adding a zero Ordinary Earnings Rate solves the problem, it leaves the processing of pays open to input errors unnecessarily

  9. Staff members gets pay reviews each year, which means their cost change. But we are unable to get the change to commence from a certain date so reporting for prior year projects won't be accurate. any way we can put a change commencement date so reporting is more accurate?

  11. Need a process to close month end. After this process has been executed the month is locked and changes are not posted to it unless we unlock it first. This feature is available in other accounting packages

  12. I refer to the Customer/Supplier Bill Activity reports which shows transactions as positive and negative figures. Could you *** create a report to show bill activity in Debit & Credit separate columns format instead of positive and negative figures in 1 column? Thank you

  13. A warning or prompt should come up when an employee has no bank details recorded - similar to when an employee's bank account is updated when a payroll is posted.

    This can be acknowledged by the user and allow them to move on.

    When the ABA is exported - this prompt should come up, every time an ABA without bank details is exported - as the payment could fail and the employee will not be paid.

  14. Sales Tax Audit report is produced only on the organization's base currency.

    To be able to produce the Sales Tax Audit report in other currencies as well.

    Reason: to be able to extract the report for organisations registered in countries of which currency is other than the Company's base (if also required for the authorities.)

  15. When importing a text block report from Figured into Xero annual accounts template, we have no control over the page breaks. This often results in undesirable page breaks. An ability to add page breaks into a text block would fix this.

  16. As an accounts practice, we are looking to reconcile bank in timely manner, and not particularly concerned about supplier payment allocations against particular invoices. Therefore we would like to see cash coding option for Advisor to allocate purchase invoice payments against supplier account as overpayment, as we would be reconciling supplier balances after bank is all allocated. We would then reconcile overpayments in each individual supplier account.

  17. It would be great to be able to edit text on a payslip. For example, one of my clients would like to hide the percentage of leave loading on their employees' payslip. Currently the payslip would read "Annual Leave - Leave Loading (17.5%, exempt from SGC)" for each time leave is taken, and they would like to hide the "(17.5%, exempt from SGC)" part.

  18. Currently there is no functionality to add a line anywhere in the Journal. The current system of dragging a line from the bottom is absolutely inconvenient especially where the Journal is very long and we want to add a few lines in the beginning of the Journal.
    There should be one button 'insert a line function' (next to current curser location - meaning anywhere in the journal - Like F7 in SAGE).
    Also, to move to below line, we have to use mouse. Can it not be possible to use arrow keys to move up and down?
