Custom report - Add formula rows for % percentages (e.g Gross/Net profit)
Custom Reports: It would be great to be able to add a formula row in the custom reports that can display as a percentage. For example GP% and NP%
Or just have the ability to add a GP% and NP% row.

Hi everyone, while we thank you all for your input on this idea here, with shifting priorities the planned work for formulas for % within reports has changed and this will not be picked up as soon as we originally hoped.
For now we'll move the status of this idea back to Submitted and share if there's any further progress. Please do keep feeding back and contributing to this idea if this is something you'd like to see.

It would be good if Xero will add a function (shown as a percentage) when doing a formula in a row.

Please add in the functionality to be able to do this. We run various management accounts for boards and not having the % automatically is frustrating.

Completely shocked that this isn't already a part of Xero. Product manager's, please get this added to a Sprint!

Yes this would be very helpful! I am also surprised this doesn't already seem to exist, but it would be a welcome feature.

Yes please, I was surprised this didn't already exist. It is essential that we can add in Gross Profit and net profit % to a row in reports. Currently you can only set the formula as a percentage in a column. Please update this ASAP Xero. Thank you!

Yes please include this, as currently columns override rows so if you have a column formula, it will add up the figures in the row instead of applying the GP margin calculation - this is a basic accounting ratio so should be included

Yes, although we can calculate GP% and NP% in the custom reports, they still need the functionality for number formatting percentages.

In a custom report you can add formulas but they are not very presentable as they look like .46 instead of 46%

In Retail KPI's are important so on a month by month report we would include the
GP % on Liquor sales
GP% on Food Sales
Wage %
At present it comes out just as a number '61'
It would help if this could be formatted as 61% (italics & bold)
